I loved the vintage look of the main area and the breakfast! The staff were very nice. Great location, close to business and right on the beach. Ice machine was a plus! Didn’t have to use the vending machine or washing machines, but those were also good amenities. The room stayed cold which was great and the beds are extremely comfortable.

The room size and showers were small. We had a room with 2 queen beds for 2 people, and not a lot of space to store belongings. Also had to be careful when showering to not let the water overflow onto the floor as there is only a small step up that goes form the shower to the floor. I also did not like the carpet floors. Had to be careful when coming back from the beach to not get sand everywhere.

A lot of things in the rooms have been updated. Showers looked brand new, beds looked new (little squishy). Housekeeps seem to do a great job. Only downfall on cleanliness are the hard wood floors. Somewhat uneven and dirty. Not an issue if you don’t have kids crawling around, but if you do just keep this in mind. The suite room did offer some extra space. First floor was nice to access the car and beach.

Could use sound dampening, on the first floor you could hear a lot of noise from above. Floors are hardwood (hard to clean) and not great for small children crawling around.

We were booked on the 2nd floor but there are no elevators. Being senior citizens we can't carry heavy luggage up the stairs. Christine quickly changed our room to a 1st floor room. She was very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and quiet. The outdoor pool was large and clean. The complimentary breakfast was better than most hotels. More of a selection and the breakfast attendant was friendly and very attentive keeping everything filled and fresh coffee going. The lobby area was beautiful and I love the real hardwood flooring. Very short walk to the beach.

A ramp going up the to the lobby entrance would be a nice addition.

Jenn at the front desk when we came in late from work was very helpful and kind with getting us in it was amid Hurricane concerns and she was very knowledgeable about where and what the weather was. Perfect size room, plenty of amenities :(towels). Beach access and clean room.

I don’t have anything negative to say about our stay. Every interaction we had with the Front Desk Support Team was amazing. Love to stay again if it works. Location is perfect.

The motel was extremely clean. It was so charming. I set my expectations low because if it's age, but the rooms were updated and very nice. The place has so much authenticity. I'd definitely stay here again. You can beat the price and location. Also, the free breakfast was delicious!

The front desk staff was less than welcoming. Very short and seemed aggravated. But hey, I never had to interact other than check in so that was a plus! The beds are a little soft, but comfortable. The doors slam so you definitely hear your neighbors coming in and out, but this was before 10pm, so it didn't bother us.

Family oriented. Old but cozy place. Very comfortable, friendly atmosphere, direct access to the beach but they should extend the boardwalk? Would definitely go back

Beach historical site due to the age but very comfortable and in the perfect location as the island is 14 miles long and this is directly in the middle with most of the food attractions close by as well awesome surf shops

Breakfast was good. Options changed daily. It was very clean, right on beach. Also never heard any noise from neighbors/ other guest at night like other reviews has claimed. Hotel was busy but quiet inside our room. Most of the staff was friendly. Washer and dryer were a nice bonus.

Pool towels rarely available at pool. Parking lot is kind of small.

Big room, good location. Loved the outside/inside entrance to the room, and the chairs right outside. Afternoon snacks were a nice touch. Keep the lobby as is, Didn't need the safe in the room, but it was nice that it was there.

Couch could be replaced, as it was not very comfortable. About time to consider replacing the mattress as well. I was in room124. Bathroom was a little dated, but that fit the decor of the room. Nothing to drastic.

This Days Inn was surprisingly charming. There was unexpected character to the main lobby and you have the option to get into your room from either inside or external doors. Access to a beautiful beach was just a short walk away.

There was little to augment the yogurt in the way of toppings - and a bottle filler would have been a terrific addition to the services offered

Location is wonderful, rooms are comfortable and spacious. Outside balcony area is always enjoyed! I always feel safe and staff is very nice. We asked for late check out and that was not a problem at all we were able to stay an extra hour and wait out the thunderstorms so that was very much appreciated!

Breakfast was eh ok. It should definitely go a bit later then 930 and if you go later in the morning there wasn't hardly anything left and hot food was not being restocked. Could use some more grab and go things like bagels or muffins. Hot food was decent if there was any left by the time you got there. Also wish they kept apple juices and things out after breakfast like they did during covid. My kids always enjoyed going down for a juice here and there. This time was asked and weren't given any after hrs. I also wanted to extend our stay but the daily rate for Friday night was 376 for one night! 😳 and that was with a military discount.
