This has to be the best Holiday in we have stayed in . Staff were super friendly and helpful, rooms and other areas perfectly clean , bed very comfy as was the bedding , shower / bathroom was great , towels were huge , personally didn’t like the shower gel but the shampoo was lovely. Kettle in room . Restaurant food was excellent as was the breakfast and the beer prices although more than we would pay at home were perfectly acceptable. No air conditioning but it was comfortable & fine for sleeping with the huge fan provided .

Thought it would be noisy with airplanes taking off as we could see the control tower but it was very quiet overnight some road noise but night hours were ok with the double glazed windows working as they should to keep the noise out .

Breakfast was good. Plenty of choice. Beds extremely comfortable. Room was exceptionally clean and cleaned everyday! Staff friendly and sorted out noise issue we had from room above us on last night swiftly and had no further issues. Best stay we have had anywhere in the UK. Will be a pleasure to come and stay again. Highly recommended hotel to stay at. Price was excellent for what you get in room and a hot breakfast included in the price, reason alone to stay here is for the hot breakfast and comfortable bed and such clean rooms.

Noise from other residents when shutting or opening room doors, however this is to be expected as it is close to airport and people need to move around to get to their flights and check in and out. Noise from room above on last night, but was swiftly dealt with. Overall nothing major to complain about. Just a couple of niggles and not a deal breaker for us. So will definitely happily stay again in the future.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very good. The breakfast included in the room price was very good.

There is a green light inside the room door, presumably in case of an emergency, but when the room lights are off, it is too bright and kept us from falling asleep. Also, although the room heater was off it was noticeable warm on the landing and corridors and the room was too warm to sleep and opening the window made little difference even though it was quite cool outside. Other than this the hotel was great.

No shuttle to airport taxi was a complete rip off!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. I needed an extra blanket which they bought to my room. The room was immactulately clean -really, and the bed was large and comfy with a choice of pillows (soft or harder) A little extra that counts. I could regulate my own heating.

I think it could be highlighted a little more that it's necessary to take a taxi from the station to the hotel and then again the following morning for the airport. I'd been quoted approx £20 per journey via booking.com and chose not to do that. In fact I only paid £9 one way and £13 the other -cheaper than going through booking.com!

The location was ideal for what we had planned. Our room was very reasonably priced and was very clean and a decent size. Our bed was very comfortable and towels, soap/shampoo and coffee were all provided. Staff were all great. Had a lovely cold pint of Stella from the hotel bar when we got back after dinner in town, which cost £5.50 which I think is decent. Breakfast was a selection of cold or hot buffet food, so we were well fed for the 250 mile journey ahead.

£13 parking per day seems a bit excessive but I've paid more for overnight parking at other hotels in Manchester.

A very bright, clean property. The cleaning staff obviously take pride in keeping the hotel spotless, particularly with the number of people coming through the hotel. The breakfast was very good, choice of fruit, yogs, cereals and at least 6 items on offer for the cooked breakfast, all well cooked. Toast and muffins also on offer. I believe there is an ‘on the go’ breakfast offered for early flights. The room was a decent size with a large shower. Bed soft and comfy, a nice change from the usual hard hotel beds. Very pleasant, friendly staff, from the reception staff to the kitchen and cleaning staff. This will definitely be my preferred airport hotel.

I stayed here for one night as a lay-over, as I had a flight quite early the next morning. A taxi to/from the Manchester Airport to this hotel only cost me £10 each way, and it takes taxis less than 10 minutes to get there. On that front it is ideally located. There is a lounge/bar on the ground floor of the hotel which was very busy but with a pleasant atmosphere. I was on the top-floor of the hotel so I did not experience any noise from the bar or people outside. The staff on reception were incredibly friendly, offered me breakfast in the morning, and arranged for a taxi to be waiting outside for me when I checked-out. My room was large with 1-double bed, a TV, and bathroom with shower. The bed was very comfortable and the entire room was very well kept. Overall I was satisfied.

The only ever-so slight complaint was the wall were not thick enough to drown out people talking loudly in the corridor or room next to me, but those people were never too loud, or loud for long.

Such a great hotel, great location, nice and quiet. The hotel has great touches such as free ear plugs from reception, as people are leaving at all hours you can hear the occasional noise, but the ear plugs stop that noise. Had a lovely night's sleep. Great breakfast and grab and go food service, for early leaving customers. Items in the little shop are reasonably priced. Brought a mini travel game for a £5. The food is slightly on the expensive side, but you do get a big portion for the price and the burger was very nice. I stayed in this hotel last year, I've stayed again this year and I'm staying again in August this year.

Nothing, love the place

A comfortable, very clean, good value hotel at the airport. Reasonable bar and restaurant and a good buffet breakfast. Pleasant staff.

Do not confuse this with the Holiday Inn at Manchester Airport! It's on the other side of the airport - an extra taxi ride away if you make the mistake of going to the Holiday Inn instead, not realising that it's a different hotel. I think a lot of guests make this mistake - so a warning on booking would have been helpful. Parking, if you need it, is £13 extra which seems quite steep.
