The location is great. The rooms feel like a hospital room, very clinical, vinyl floors and plasticy furniture. But this isn't a bad thing for a solo traveller (as easier to keep clean I assume). The bed was very comfortable and even being attached to the service station it was actually very peaceful and quiet.

The only thing that was a thumbs down. Even though the floors were vinyl and low maintenance/easy clean. The floor was dirty, visible pieces of dirt on the floor in multiple places, an old elastic band also. If the room had been hoovered etc it would have been 10/10.

No breakfast, but there was a coffee/tea machine available. A service station was next door so breakfast/hot meals could be had there, all at reasonable prices. My room was priced very reasonable and was adequate for my three night stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. And, although my room was basic, it was clean. Nice firm double bed, tv, shower, toilet, two sockets to charge up mobile etc. I would certainly recommend to other travellers who are just passing through to help break up their journey.

Although there was a stool in the room to sit on, I would have preferred an option of having a small easy chair to sit on while watching tv in the evening. But, I’m not complaining, it suited me fine for the short time I was there.

A cosy room, perfect for myself and my son. We chose a triple so he could have the bunk bed. He used the little desk to do his drawings and games. We watched TV (all free sat channels) and had adequate space for all our things. Shower was hot and powerful too. Beds were really comfortable and the hotel was surprisingly quiet! I knew there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room when I booked but was happy to find a tea/coffee station close to the room with hot water/tea/coffee/sugar/milk/disposable cups. This was replenished frequently for guests to help themselves.

Only complaint is the toilet is essentially in a cupboard without any windows the lack of air means it has a bit of a smell (not toilet waste! But that kind of smell that comes from a closed room thats never aired).

Location, how quiet the bedrooms were. Free parking. Dog friendly. Disable friendly. Good working disability bathroom where the shower water did not cover the entire bathroom floor. Friendly staff. Rooms were attended to on a daily basis. Food outlets, right next door. Nice walk around the pond too.

The wooden divider between the bed heads. The heating system took a long time to generate heat for the room. Not sure when the weather does turn much colder if the heater would make the room more comfortable to be in. Plus, the current quilt is extremely thin. They did not warm us up. The twin rooms have quite narrow mattresses. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room.

Exceptionally clean. All staff super friendly. Stayed for 2 nights while visiting family. Good value for money, convenient location with all we needed right there.

Initially I was disappointed with the size and the shower being in the bedroom itself. This was only because I was staying in a twin room with my daughter and neither of us massively happy with the lack of privacy. This was a very small negative as the room was so clean and the beds comfortable. We were of course able to work around showering.

Nice and clean. Excellent location and staff were helpful. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the lobby and restaurants right next door. Extra towels were provided on demand at no extra cost.

It didn't bother us but people should keep in mind that it is at a main services so the surrounding area is busy. The hotel wasn't affected by this and is set back from the main shops and restaurants but it is worth others keeping in mind if they'd prefer calm surroundings.

Cheap at £45 for attending a concert in Wembley. Rooms are functional and comfortable.

Only gripe might be that if you are travelling with a friend or child etc you may not like that the shower is visible from the room and not in a bathroom. There is no warning about this, the shower simply exits into the room. Fine if with a romantic partner or someone you don't mind (and doesn't mind) seeing you in your birthday suit, or for a solo traveller.

It's clean, well maintained, lots of very hot water, surprisingly quiet for a motorway service station, very convenient for the M40, cheerful staff, and about the cheapest accommodation in the area.

It's small and stripped down! If you just want somewhere to sleep for a night, it's fine. But there's minimal space to walk round the beds, I didn't even try sitting at the table, the shower compartment opens straight off the room, and there's no kettle (get dressed and walk downstairs if you want a cup of tea in the morning). I would hesitate before spending more than a night or before sharing the room with someone I didn't know very well and know to be easy going....

The are basic, but clean and comfortable. The bed was comfy, maybe could have had a firmer pillow. For a basic room, this was fine. The showers was hot, and powerful. I should have read the list of facilities and realised there wasn’t a kettle…but this didn’t matter as Wetherspoons is next door, so at 715am we went for a cup of tea , and later in had breakfast there. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a good choice of places to eat as it is at the service station, we had pizza express one night

I The rooms could be cosier if there was carpet instead of flooring. But I suppose that’s because it’s a basic hotel and it’s easier tand quicker to clean

Perfect for an overnight stay, compact, but for the price it was excellent. Clean rooms and the staff were so helpful, nothing I requested was too much trouble for them. I left an item behind and they located the item and had it ready for collection from a postal company. Very polite and extremely helpful. A credit to their company.
