Great area to stay for where we needed to be,nice peaceful location ,comfy beds so had a peaceful nights sleep! Friendly staff & had an excellent breakfast in the morning ,compliments the chef!

Room was a little tired & dated ,could have done with a few tweaks here & there & maybe a few extra touches,ie a welcome info pack ,more towels & a couple of glasses for water in room but it was nothing major & was all functional & did not affect our stay

Clean, friendly, staff were lovely and attentive. Cosy rooms, nice little outdoor eating space, food, I would recommend.

Disappointed that we couldn't get our breakfast at 7.30am before leaving to go back to Liverpool for a christening, as no staff were available. I did ask a staff member before going up to my room for the night, what time breakfast was, she explained that it was between 7.30am -10.am . Maybe you serve breakfast later on a weekend and she had forgotten what day it was. .

A warm welcome from the staff, and the pub was already buzzing with after work drinkers. Everyone was really friendly. The room was a good size, spotless, and a very comfy bed. The en-suite was tiny, ok for us, but maybe a squeeze for larger frames, but again spotless, with a good shower. Good to have complimentary toiletries. It was a lovely situation, so quiet we could hear owls hooting through the night. We had a great walk the next morning before we headed off.

I don't think my breakfast avocado/egg on toast needed a dressed salad with it. A small point.

Staff were lovely and friendly. Food was really tasty and staff knowledgeable about food and wine. The room was very nicely quirky.

The lock on the room was not very secure but they said they were going to sort it out. The restaurant and bar are excellent and the present owners only been there a month so i am sure that the positive look of downstairs will be repeated in the rooms.

I enjoyed my stay. I received a very warm and friendly welcome and everything was handled smoothly and professionally. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. I wasn't able to make the most of the breakfast as I had an early start the following day. However, I had a meal in the evening after I arrived which was excellent. I would recommend The Potters Arms as a nice stopover or base for exploring this part of Buckinghamshire. We will certainly keep this in mind for future visits to England.

Pub located in a remote village of the Chiltern hills. The room located under the roof was very pleasant, actually two rooms remindful of a hobbit dwelling. The staff is most welcoming, and the food in the restaurant area was really good. Our grandchildren were keen to learn about the quizz night and the comedy (standup) night. The english breakfast, as expected, was really good.

The bathroom was a bit small, and not very warm (but not too cold).

Location great from M20 in a lovely village, they were very accommodating with our dog who was also allowed in the restaurant. The food was excellent in particular the breakfast was exceptional and included in the price. Parking onsite as well.

Room was tired and lots of tight steps to get to it and a large step down into the bathroom. Breakfast, although worth the wait, was an hour later than stated.

Lovely old pub in a peaceful village location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a nice size and had all we needed. Good large TV. Plenty of coffee and tea bags plus biscuits. It was only a one night stopover for us but was perfect for our needs. The breakfast was included and was generous and delicious. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this pub.

Nothing to dislike.

Food was very nice. Breakfast, which was included was very tasty and a good choice. Chose to take our evening meal meal in the restaurant and this was also very good. My daughter loved the fact that the TV was a smart TV, which meant she was not limited with what she could watch. She enjoyed being able to watch Netflix before bed.

TV would have been better on the wall. With it being on the dresser, the kettle was in the way and it was all very cramped. Also, there was a musty smell in the bathroom.

Room was adequate for our needs , 1 night stop over for a golf tournament. Restaurant & Bar very nice , food & drinks menu had a good selection possibly a little overpriced. Stayed in Room 3 , in a room no more than 15 / 15 not sure why there is a green neon fire exit light above the door , lit up the whole room on turning off other lights to sleep , really annoying.
