Conveniently located hotel with parking close to Swansea. The room was generally clean. The mattress was comfortable and the shower room was designed in a way that could separate the toilet from the shower if needed. Good quality hand wash, shower gel, and shampoo was also provided. Breakfast was average. Located next to Harvester pub was handy.

The carpet was old and stained and not thoroughly cleaned all the way to the edges. The sofa bed was not very comfortable. The hotel advertised that I would be able to take my breakfast on the go, but I was not able to. The paper bags provided could only safely hold croissants, not cooked breakfast. No plugs were located close to the beds.

Great value for money. Located just off the M4 so convenient to get to and for getting on my way the following day. The room was clean, had a great shower with lots of power and hot water, a huge bed and was genuinely comfortable. It was perhaps a little light on the in-room coffee supply (only 2 sachets of caffeinated coffee - there were also 2 sachets of de-caff). The choice from the dinner menu was very poor but there is a harvester next door which at least can supply a better choice. Breakfast used a separate room for the buffet while the dining room was being renovated at one end. The choice of cereal was ok for me but my overall summary would be that they had a reasonable choice, including fruit, but somehow the buffet let it down with neither the scrambled egg nor the soggy bacon being anything like the freshly cooked articles.

Breakfast could have been better but that could partly be the fault of the dining room renovations making it harder to refresh the buffet regularly. It was though very sufficient for a good start to the day.

Warm welcome. Beautifully maintained rooms. Clean. Great Breakfast - continental and full English . Supportive staff - James the duty manager was extremely accommodating and helpful. He even offered us vegetarian sausages when himself discerning that we may be vegetarians. The microwave oven was very useful to heat up osome snacks for the journey there. Very comfortable bed. I noticed feedback reviews stated that rooms got too hot. Our rooms were equipped with a stand alone fan, clearly placed there as a result of taking heed of the reviews. This was an awesome and timely response to criticism. Great work, even though we didn't need to use one. Oh... and disabled parking facilities great for my parents... a specially equipped accessibility room and bathroom for elderly with disabilities. Wheelchair friendly.

Nothing. I loved the experience. Recommend this budget hotel in Swansea very highly. Perfect location just off the M4 for a budget short stay.

Free car parking right next to hotel. The friendly welcome by staff on arrival. The huge bed, the layout of the room. Notices to inform about where to go and what to do if you needed more toiletries or refreshments. The breakfast was superb. A good variety of breakfast items, dining room and counters were spotlessly clean. Food was topped up frequently. Staff cleared and cleaned tables as soon as they were vacated. Check out was fast with staff wishing us a safe journey. We informed them of a few things that were wrong with room and they made a note.

There was a dog barking in a room between 11-11.30pm. When showering in the morning the water did not drain away so had to turn off shower until it did. Reported it to reception when we left and they made a note to get it checked. Also informed them of grey lint like material on sheet. I used a clothes brush to remove it, looked like something had been in wash or dryer with sheets.

Staff are excellent - efficient and friendly - will bend over backwards to help you

Car Parking - received a £75 parking fine during my stay from whoever manages their car parking despite being a guest and submitting my registration number upon check in. Have queried it hopefully it will be withdrawn. Car parking is sparse though and unless you arrive before 6:00pm it unlikely you'll find one. The main car park is separate and belongs to the Harvester Pub next door. You can only leave your car / van overnight in the Holiday Inn car park which s much smaller

I would recommend this hotel for family stay. Staff is professional, rooms are clean and comfy. When we returned from the beach we found our room neatly tied up and consumables were replenished.

egg crumbles and baked beans were kept close. Some guests mixed the spoon and then egg was kind of mixed with beans. It would be good if they can keep egg and non-veg items apart. It would help vegans and people with egg allergies. Considering other good points this one doesn't look like a big issue.

Staff's email a day before arrival wherein they explicitly mentioned that lift is under maintenance and guests have to use stairs. Property's location is bang on Swansea junction. Staff was very polite, especially managing loads of guests during breakfast.

Lesser number of Bins near reception, near stairs or anywhere on the respective floor. If a bin can be placed on each floor and near stairs , it will be of great help.

Always love the breakfasts at Holiday Inn's. Enough to cater for all requirements. Room nice and clean and warm and very quiet. Good hot powerful shower. Parking included in price.

The bed was a bit too firm for me, but you can't please all of the people all of the time and it's personal taste. The lift was out of order but didn't bother us as we were ok with walking up 2 flights of stairs, and they did let us know about this upon booking to be fair.

What a fantastic stay! Thank you to Jason who helped us navigate to the hotel as our sat nav sent us to the local police station!! Jason and his colleague worked solid at a very busy breakfast yet with such professionalism. The hotel was one of the best hotels we've stayed at in the Swansea area. Exceptionally clean, tasty full breakfast and the most lovely, friendliest and helpful staff. The room catered for all our needs for our stay and was very clean, not to mention the very comfy beds.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, quite spacious and the shower has a glass door instead of a curtain, (much better). Breakfast was nice and the staff ensured that the dishes were never empty. Parking is free but your car has to be validated at reception.

The hotel is located close to the M4 motorway, so if you are in a room facing the motorway, it can be a bit loud at times particularly when the window is open.
