We had a truly wonderful stay at the hotel! The staff made all the difference and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. A special thank you to Shahzaib, the housekeeping gentleman, who kept our room spotless every day with such care and attention to detail. His warm smile and dedication didn’t go unnoticed. Payel and Dicksha at the reception were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Always professional and friendly, they answered all our questions with patience and made check-in and check-out smooth and easy. And of course, a big thank you to Allan, the all-round helper, who kindly assisted us with our luggage and made everything so much easier from the moment we arrived. His positive energy and willingness to help were truly appreciated. Thanks to this amazing team, our experience was nothing short of excellent. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

Very nice, professional and helpful staff. A very nice swimming pool with hot water (even a little too warm). Good location and tasty breakfast are additional advantages of this hotel. Since our flight was quite late, we were allowed to stay at the hotel for a few hours after check-out, which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend!

Unfortunately, the room rented for three adults is not suitable for this purpose and I was given a fold-out bed to sleep in (not very comfortable). All the utensils in the room (towels, cosmetics, drinks) were also only for 2 people. However, the missing items were quickly delivered by the staff. I would rate the stay 10 points if it weren't for this one thing

It is tasty and fresh though...wonderful :)

My daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights and had the best hotel experience ever. Indaa greeted us with a one night upgrade which felt really nice after a long flight. The bellmen were incredibly nice the entire time and were super helpful. Vineesh, Soloman, the valet people were friendly as well. Allan was always attentive to our needs and helped with every question we had. Basheer in the restaurant with his smile made our mornings very pleasant. I am especially grateful to Hamza who bent over backwards to make our stay perfect in every way possible. He always anticipated our needs, helped with recommendations and tickets and he even made sure we got home safely. His professionalism is exceptional. I wish more people like him would work in the hospitality industry and I hope all these people are appreciated by their managers as well. It is difficult to mention everybody's name, but this hotel definitely picked a great bunch of people working for them. It was also very clean, great location downtown, and equipped with all convenience needed in the bathroom, they even had an iron in the room. The bed was very also comfortable. Housekeeping staff was also very friendly and hard working. This place exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Thank you so much.

The food choices could have been a little better and tastier at dinner, but maybe we think so because of cultural differences. It was still a good idea to get the half board, as food is expensive there. The restaurant staff was great though.

If I had to point out any minuses they would be: - The windows were not openable - Air conditioning only cooled - It was not possible to get washing powder Simply trifles compared to other important things which were decent.

Khalid and Idhaa at reception were both very pleasant and professional. They made me feel most welcome, from the moment I arrived. The staff speak excellent English, aming other languages. Khalid even has an impressive British accent, which made me feel right at home! I needed some photocopying done and it was taken care of swiftly, without any fuss. The hotel has a quiet and respectful atmosphere, perfect in the summer heat. They even upgraded my room free of charge without me requesting it. The pool, gym and sauna are all in good condition. Copthorne Downtown will now be my go-to hotel when I stay in Abu Dhabi.

We got an upgraded room when we arrived, the bed was comfy, cleaning was done everyday, we always got mineral water, tea, coffee in the room. The hotel has a pool, gym and sauna on the top. Bus stations are very close, it is easy to get to the city but taxi is also cheap. There were a lot of choices by breakfast.

Great location, pleasant neighborhood, well connected, comfortable rooms and beds, pleasant vibe, friendly staff. Perfect breakfast. Great view from our rooms too.

The only con was the poor soundproofing. I was woken up brutally by someone’s alarm at 4.30 am - vibrations loud as if it was my own alarm (I literally tried to switch mine off). It continued to ring for the full 1.5h every 5 min. The ear blockers didn’t help. It’s more a fault of a bad neighbor but maybe some better soundproofing could help… PS. To all people that set more than 2 alarms - please stop doing it, PLEASE…

“My stay at Copthorne Downtown Abu Dhabi was truly a wonderful surprise and turned what could have been a stressful layover into a relaxing experience. Initially, I was supposed to stay at a different nearby hotel as part of my layover, but due to an unexpected mix-up with my reservation, I found myself without a room. Thankfully, I decided to head over to Copthorne Downtown — and I couldn’t have made a better choice. The amazing receptionist made me feel so welcome and she offered me a spacious, relaxing room. Even though I stayed only 4 hours, it was worth every minute. Highly recommend!”

Stayed in this hotel for only 1 night. We liked the huge bed which was VERY soft and comfortable, with good blanket and pillows. The room has everything you need: water, some instant tea/coffee, small fridge, good shower accessories such as shampoo, conditioner, gel, body lotion, shower caps. The buffet breakfast was nice with a lot of options. Very friendly staff. Also, small swimming pool on the roof.

Shower was not very convenient because of narrow shower cabin with a door that opens towards itself. The same problem with the public toilets - small toilet cabins with doors that open the same way. Some places probably need minor repairs.
