Everything. I stayed there just one night, but the hotel is really nice, with all services that you can ask for. In the neighborhood there are a lot of restaurants, supermarket, shops, and the corniche is not far and reachable also by feet.

It was a good hotel to stay at. They are also redoing the rooms etc so I’m sure it’ll be even nicer soon! Pool was nice, staff were nice. There’s a fantastic food hole-in-the-wall near a supermarket when you leave the hotel, turn left, left again and it’s across the road. They do amazing and very cheap samosas. We went back 3 times!!

A bit expensive but everything around here is. Not the property’s fault but just note there are a lot of males who stay here, which is obviously fine but I’d be a bit nervous as a solo female, so just good to know! Staff were incredibly lovely but only really talked to my partner and called him sir and honestly ignored me a lot, so just a note to recognise and respect women, too!

I'm old school and over 65 yrs ,I didn't like being across the stairwell, but I overlooked it because it was only one night , and I wasn't going out to be back on wee hours ,it was just an overnight hotel stay and early morning check out after breakfast .oh please update the TV channels , !

I was fully satisfied with my stay. The hotel had everything I needed. Breakfast buffet was of great quality equipped with espresso/latte machines. Restaurants, cafes and the business center inside the hotel made my travel smooth and convenient. The location at the city center (and close to Qasr Al Hosn) was perfect with close accesses to public transportations, diverse restaurants and facilities.

The fabrics of the chair and couch in a room were very old (and cannot be cleaned), so I did not use them. The hotel looked well-maintained in a nice traditional/old-school style, which I liked though.

The Novel Hotel is what it is. Reasonably priced, great location, good restaurant options. I love the Beaujolais - never fails to impress! ( I was there at its opening 30 odd years ago). Rumours are it will be closed and replaced with yet another Indian Restaurant _ Please NO Restaurant China also excellent - thats why so many Chinese people eat there! Thank you Mrs Lee

Room a little dated but bearing in mind price perfectly acceptable Why doesn't the Opera coffee shop open for coffee in the morning??? - Just gives Starbucks the business!

Booked 3 days. Overall good experience staying here. Check-in was delayed due to the booked room having some problem with A/C on that day. But the staff arranged a deluxe room instead and offered breakfast. Mr.Alan and front desk staff were very polite and ensured we had a good stay throughout, until checkout and booking a taxi to airport. Location is close to Madinat mall and Corniche with a short taxi ride. Taxi stand is at the hotel’s door step. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic. Nobody cleaned tables, so finding a table was difficult. Food was stiff because of the super cold air-conditioning.

It was the third time we stayed in Novel and again we were really pleased with how it was! Ferdouse took care of our room and made sure we always had everything we needed, we are incredibly grateful for his service! The rooms are always very clean and smell good, my parents-in-law even got a room upgrade for free.

The only thing that could be improved is the coldness of the rooms, because even after turning off the AC they still remain freezing for long, but apart from this we loved everything and we'll be back!

The location is great if you want to visit the shopping malls and the sights. The bus stop is near the hotel and there’s also WTC mall 5-7 minutes from the property. Good breakfast

When we arrived, there weren’t any towels and slippers in our room, but when we asked, the stuff gave us everything we needed.
