Quite nice hotel, clean, comfortable, simple check-in, polite staff, convenient location with some cafes and supermarkets nearby. All the furniture and equipment work properly with a good quality.

Nothing is really critical, but there are couple of details that other travellers might need to know before check-in. Sockets in a suite are local type and require additional adapter for european devices, fortunately it's possible to request it from hotel staff. A fridge in a room is full of promoted items, that you can buy for extra price, but there is not so much space left for your own products, if you have some. But maybe it's also manageable.

Everything was great, we really liked the room; it was clean and cozy. The staff was very polite. We arrived at 3 AM, and they checked us in without any issues. I also had an unpleasant incident with the bank, and they charged me twice for the hotel stay. The hotel staff helped me resolve the issue, provided all the necessary receipts, and the matter was sorted out.

I liked everything, but there was one issue. The smell in the room was quite strange, somewhat musty. We were given only one pair of slippers, even though the room was for two people. Also, the socket for the kettle wasn’t working, but we quickly found a way to solve the problem.

Everything was as advertised, and if you are to book your stay in advance, you can't really beat the price for what you're getting. The hotel is very well positioned, with a shop extremely close by and also close enough to the Corniche or the Abu Dhabi Mall. I was welcomed by Trojan, who was super nice and professional, but honestly, all the staff were! The room size was big enough, the bed - one of the comfiest I've ever slept in, and the day-to-day cleaning service of the room was impeccable. The bathroom was spacious, and you get water bottles daily. If you want some good value for your money, without the extra frills, I highly recommend Ramada Downtown! Oh, and the pool, although quite small, was always empty, so don't forget to bring your bathing suit, and you might feel like you have your own private pool.

It certainly doesn't have all the amenities of a standard 4-star hotel, like bathrobes or even slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste, so take that into account when packing. But the toiletries they had were good quality. As to be expected, like with most hotels in the area, you can't open the windows, so you have to rely on the air conditioning. And the view from my room was also nothing to write home about. But I believe all these shortcomings are far outnumbered by the positives.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, and I was pleasantly surprised to be checked into a beautifully furnished room at 11 AM, despite arriving early. The location is fantastic, with Abu Dhabi Mall just a five-minute walk away and plenty of great restaurants nearby. The breakfast selection was impressive, offering a wide variety of choices, and the restaurant staff were exceptionally warm and attentive. Their positive attitude was clearly a reflection of the food and beverage manager’s strong leadership and teamwork. The only downside was the late-night music from the rooftop club, which was quite noticeable as we were staying on a higher floor. The hotel would benefit from better soundproofing, and until then, I’d recommend avoiding the upper levels for a quieter stay. Overall, a great experience with just one minor drawback. Would definitely return!

The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. It had everything you wanted. Minibar was stocked with a lot of options, there was complimentary coffee, tea & water. The bed was super comfortable and Netflix available. There is paid parking all around the hotel. We had breakfast here. There are plenty of options, both savory and sweet, drinks, salads, meats, eggs cooked on order, breads pastries etc. The staff was very welcoming. Only spent 1 night here and walked around very little so can't say much about location and proximity to things

Were told that we had to figure out parking on our own because the hotel has no parking. The hotel has indoor parking (maybe was full), but there is also paid parking right outside, all around. We managed to find some 'non residential parking' a bit far out, also paid, only to realize that we could have parked right in front of the door. Probably a communication problem

A good hotel ,close to the bus station .this was the reason that we choose Ramada dowtown and it was a good choise @ Abu Dhabi is an expensive city.but we manage the have a good price for the room.The room has good size, not to big.not to small.the bed was good, the chairs were comfortables, We have a tv .coffe corner.a big desk..the bathroom is big.everithing was good.Th hotel is close to the bus station to / fromthe airport .it is close to the restaurants .the Lulu shop .We can walk to the Corniche ,like 30- 40 minute.but the walk is nice.We liked it .it was a good choise !

It has a perfect location. Very close to different bus stops, markets, and shopping malls. Staff was really helpfull. Our check-in was supposed to be at 2 pm but we arrived early and they let us do the check-in at 11 am. Room was big and clean. A staff came to our room at 6 pm to ask if everything is okay and if we need anything. Breakfast was okay. It has eastern, western, asian, english type of food.

There was a carpet smell on the floors but not in the room. We couldn’t open the window. It was so cold in the lobby because of the a/c. But everything was okay in the room.

Room - Nice spacious room with free upgrade (King bed was very comfortable). Location - Convenient for local shopping and hitting the Abu Dhabi malls and Corniche. Food - Good quality and presentation however abit pricey Staff - very kind friendly and always ready to provide excellent customer service to accommodate customer needs - shout out to Veronica and the rest of the management staff.

If you want to go to Yas Island it's quite far - about 30 minute taxi ride which can be costly however there are nearby hotels that provide free shuttle bus to Yas Island.

It was exceptional value for the money. Very comfortable room. Room service food was quite good. I was upgraded to a king-size bed for free. I loved the 10th-floor pub, Barosa. They have the best happy hour prices in town. Happy hour is from 5 until 9 pm. A pint of Stella is only 20 (twenty) dirhams. That's half the price any where else. Regular price is 40 dirhams, same as happy hour price in other places. The bartender informed me that they had happy hour every day.

The bathroom, while clean and with great towels, had no butt-hose. You know, the bidet hose you find next to every other toilet in the Middle East? It had a generous sized bidet, but no butt-hose. Not sure why, but for 35 dollars a bathroom they can have one installed. That's what it cost me to have one installed in my bathroom in the US. Once you get used to them it is hard to feel clean without one.
