Carlton Downtown is an absolute gem and has everything we required. Beds are comfy, with fresh crisp bedding and beautiful city views. The apartment is very spacious & clean and the staff is friendly, professional and helpful. They're always checking whether we're happy with everything or in need of anything. The location of the hotel is excellent and close to the Metro. They also offer a very welcome free shuttle service to 3 different malls throughout the day, which is greatly appreciated and convenient. We would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for good accomodation.

Missing a Smart TV - Hotel needs to upgrade their TV's.

The hotel’s location is excellent, situated in the centre of Dubai with a breathtaking view of the Burj Khalifa. The staff, especially Precious, were helpful and professional.

Tv channels were in poor condition, an upgrade to high definition is needed. The room has a kitchen but I couldn’t use it as no dishes, cups, or anything… there is a light on the entrance near the door that is on all the time and was annoying during the night as I couldn’t turn it off. Regarding the concierge, Bilal assisted me with the suitcase, but seemed disappointed with the 10 dirham tip ( 2 €) which is the tip I would give in Europe, and was expecting a higher tip, and that made me really uncomfortable.

Well located 'downtown', close to a Metro stop, making the north and south of Dubai within easy reach.

Initially we were given a room which had an old stained fitted carpet, making the room rather shabby. Other things like the air conditioner temp control not working, issues with the shower, phone etc, and we were shown a different room by the Manager, which was much better, and made the overall experience much better.

The location was excellent and very close to the Financial Center Metro station and very convenient to go anywhere in Dubai. Also I would like to say a special thank you to Calvin at reception who upgraded my room to a suite without me asking and extended my check-out time to 3pm.

The only thing I didn’t like was poor positioning of the power socket on the wall especially the ones near the table where I couldn’t put any of the adapters into it.

The location is very good - it is 1 min walk from the Metro. Very good location for business purposes (conferences, meetings etc). The room was very big - which is very good and the service was nice.

The rating of the hotel (when I booked) represents very well the quality. I think this hotel deserves around 8 for the price I paid (which was expensive and you can find better option for the same price) and could maybe deserve 8.5 if the price were a little cheaper. The hotel is really "ok" - not great and not bad. Saunas facilities are small and one sauna didn't work. Breakfast is "ok", restaurant on the place also just "ok". everything around 8 - good enough for a business stay.

The location of the hotel is excellent, making it very convenient to explore the sights of Dubai. The apartment was incredibly spacious, with two bathrooms and exceptionally comfortable beds and pillows, ensuring a great night's sleep.

Communication with the staff before our arrival was disappointing – I tried for weeks to inquire about tennis court reservations but received no response, which was frustrating and required constant follow-ups. Additionally, on the day of checkout, we left the room before 12 PM and realized near the elevator that we had forgotten something in the fridge. Unfortunately, our keycards were already deactivated, which was an unwelcome inconvenience.

Hotel is in the most important roads in Dubai in down town one metro station to Dubai mall and Bourj khalifa two stops to future museum.. metro station is about 2minutes walk.. pharmacy is near, mini grocery in the hotel.. clean comfortable.. breakfast is rich and variable and super delicious Staff are so welcoming specially AbdelKader who is taking care of ur bags and any questions with an attractive smile, Also the lovely lady at the reception who upgraded our room to suite 😃 with two bathrooms The hotel has a Jakouzi and gym for free for guests plus the swimming pool.. thanks to this amazing hotel staff who made our stay smooth and interesting. We loved the lovely Carlton ❤️

We were a group of four, including one person in a wheelchair, and initially booked a regular suite with two bedrooms. To our delight, the hotel staff generously upgraded us for free to the panoramic suite, which offered a stunning view of the Burj Khalifa and significantly more space. This thoughtful gesture made our stay much more comfortable, especially considering the wheelchair access needs. The breakfast was excellent, featuring fresh and delicious options with plenty of variety—hot coffee, tea, and a tempting selection of sweets were highlights. The room service was impeccable, with daily cleaning that was thorough and efficient, and it was available 24/7. The hotel's location is unbeatable—just a 2-minute walk to the metro station, with Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa only one stop away, and the Museum of the Future equally close. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, assisting promptly with all our requests and making us feel truly welcomed. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service, prime location, and hospitality.

One aspect that could be improved is the availability of a wheelchair-accessible suite.

its my second time stay in carlton downtown and i am happy they are keeping up their standards though initially i chose it due to proximity from metro but once i stayed i realised its best choice in this neighbourhood after experiencing adjacent hotels all staff if very welcoming and eager to help u in any assistance asked for particularly guest relation officer ouijdane is very forthcoming in looking after the guest needs she is happy face of carlton down town i am looking forward to stay with them whenever in town
