The Leddie has been beautifully renovated, the room and public spaces were clean and tidy. The overall vibe is relaxed and elegance without being stuffy or obnoxious. Great interiors, snuggly but fresh. The staff are excellent and go beyond to take care of the residents. It was our first night away with our baby and we were made to feel so welcome and cared for. Also, little touches, like shortbread and personalised notes on arrival and a leaving pack of water and shortbread on departure was a really thoughtful and well received touch.

Clean, comfortable, freshly decorated (apparently only opened last summer); fixtures & fittings in excellent order & of the very highest quality; likewise things like linen, shower gel, coffee, home made shortbread in rooms etc. Dinner in restaurant excellent; service efficient, skilful and friendly. Front of house staff welcoming, efficient, friendly & above all, very kind when an older member of our party got into mobility difficulties. Had slightly feared we’d be told, “we’re not insured for this kind of thing” but the staff member (Siobhan) concerned could not have been kinder or more understanding & helpful. Breakfast excellent. The whole thing was a brilliant experience for us. Cannot rate the whole place highly enough.

Car park had very tight access way which meant we parked on the street Nowhere to hang used towels in one of the shower rooms (room4) Breakfast service was quite slow on the Sunday - but managed well by the staff

Excellent hotel throughout. Staff, setting and all of the rooms and communal areas are exquisite. Food and drink was also top notch.

Could do with some air con, admittedly we stayed on the hottest weekend of the year but it was sweltering. Breakfast service was very steady, not quite enough team members to cover the volume of diners.

Great location, personal welcome message from general manager, high standard of refurbishment. Chelsea, at breakfast was super friendly and breakfast was lovely.

Initially there was a fuss on arrival as receptionist insisted we had not paid, even though we had through booking.com. Despite showing the receipt she would not let it go. The room was small.

Only a small thing, but I couldn't contact reception early evening from my room, so had to get dressed and go downstairs to find someone in the bar.

It was my first time staying at a hotel ever and it was everything I imagined. Everyone made you feel so welcome and the room and food were incredible.

Just that there wasn't much to do in Aberlady itself except the beach, absolutely nothing to do with the hotel!

Hotel only open seven weeks. Room spacious, bed very comfortable. Could do with full length mirror also a chair. safe deposit on ground level -- very difficult to operate if you are elderly. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food high quality. Breakfast - full Scottish was excellent. Must be a great asset to the area.

Superb breakfast and excellent evening menu. Staff exceptionally welcoming, helpful and professional. Lovely calm ambience in a delightful town.

Would have liked slightly larger room although room facilities and shower room were first class.

Breakfast was excellent. Dining room gave a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Staff was nice and helpful. Staircase was steep and cramped for elder people. Room size a little small.
