Prior to arrival I contacted the hotel with a query and Marie at reception was outstanding and not only compassionate and friendly but went above and beyond. Thank you for this first class customer service.

We booked the hotel as soon as we received a save the date- the booking was non refundable through booking.com I was disappointed to see the cost if the room reduce significantly prior to arrival and feel we seriously over paid.

Beautiful location. Sea views amazing. Excellent facilities and breakfast.

Had to be moved to another room late in the evening due to a leak in the ceiling. Whilst replacement room was similar, it was inconvenient and I would have appreciated a gesture on final bill which was not forthcoming

Convenient for everywhere I was visiting. It has a lovely pool. Staff are all friendly and efficient.

Far too hot. Heating on high, had to turn the towel rail off to keep the heat down and have the window open all the time. In the corridor the windows were open but next to the windows the radiator was on very hot. In this day and age this seems a ridiculous waste of money and energy. This is Scotland, east cost Scotland ! No one is expecting temperatures to be like the Mediterranean. It is so hot in the hotel it is very difficult to judge what to wear outside!

The hotel was stunning, and the sea views from the lounge/dining areas exceptional! My daughters and I stayed in the double double room, which was perfect for a family with lots of space and generous sized beds. We all enjoyed the spa facilities and treatments, with staff contacting us well ahead of time to make sure we were prepared to get the most from our experience. The high street and Seabird Centre were just a 10-minute walk away and the beach just a few minutes. Parking was just across the road from the hotel with plenty of spaces. I would also recommend the Sunday lunch.

From the moment my sister and I arrived we were treated so kindly by all the staff and we were made to feel very special. I had mentioned it was my sister's 70th birthday and we had a lovely surprise of prosecco in the room on our arrival. My goodness, the double double room was huge! Loved the decor. The spa area was amazing, views immense, great breakfast 👍

It is the smallest thing, the beds were extremely comfortable, this is just a personal preference but would have appreciated the choice of a firmer pillow. The luxurious pillows were just a bit soft for me. As I said just a personal preference ☺️

The views are spectacular, the staff are friendly and efficient. Our room was unexpectedly upgraded and we really enjoyed our larger room with the sea view. It's also pleasant sitting in the reception area and enjoying the view from there. The breakfasts are incredible, everything is so good & anything you can think of is catered to. We were a little disappointed that the dinner restaurant was Italian and not Scottish/local cuisine. The lift down to the spa smelt really unpleasant each time we used it. Spa facilities are a little tired, there was no ice in the 'ice room' or the ice plunge pools. As the spa is open to membership, it was much busier than we had anticipated. Still enjoyable just not as luxurious as we'd thought it would be.

We really enjoyed the view from the main area just off the bar. Watching the day come to a close was wonderful. The staff were friendly in the hotel. Facilities were of a high standard. Our room was perfect for our needs as we were out walking most of the day. The pool etc was great, we really got a lot of use out of it and made for a relaxing get away.

We felt as if the food and ambience in the restaurant could have had more attention to detail. For example, we both ordered pasta, one came with lots of sauce the other not so much, first round of bread felt fresh but the second had freezer scorch marks on it. At breakfast there was no music which is fine however the staff cleared away all of the buffet whilst clattering all the crockery together. It made for a loud finish to the breakfast which was otherwise tasty. These are such small details, we truly had a great time!

Great hotel, lovely stay. Spa facilities a great bonus, not to mention the beautiful views. Breakfast was excellent (though I have no dietary needs so didn't explore options greatly in that area) and service extremely quick. The Staff were great friendly, welcoming, no fuss and helpful when I requested assistance with printing and to store luggage.

Only tiny niggles for me were a lack of well located sockets in the bedroom (Individual sockets at bedside but each was used up for bedside lamps) and one behind the large desk. This meant access to a mirror whilst styling hair was a little challenging. Additionally, despite it being only January I found the room too hot at night, there were no air con facilities in the room but a lighter duvet would have probably made the difference.

The lovely room we were allocated,was well equipped, iron kettle etc, water supplied.Nice decor and bed linen. Fantastic views. Room121 The Spa and pool looked great,but didn't use them only because the weather was so good( we took advantage of the coastal walks).

Not much, bar food menu had a lot of deep fry dishes, would have liked more options. Breakfast staff could have been a bit more active and anticipated running out of glasses etc.

Excellent reception staff, nice touch to have some small treats for us in the room (returning customers), great views over the golf course and the Forth. Room was clean, very comfortable, warm on a cold night. Hot water, shower etc all great, plenty of towels. Spa used twice, was clean and all facilities working, with helpful staff there too. Reception and room staff couldn't have been better, as were breakfast staff. We see ourselves a regulars, and will be returning again - jus wish we'd stayed longer this time!

Only had breakfast, which had a large selection but might've been a wee bit hotter. Food very tasty though.
