Breakfast was really tasty, lots of options. Room with hot tub was superior! the View of the sea whilst being in a hot tub just was incredible. Staff went out of their way to help us find transport to and from a wedding venue and also to assist with anything we needed! We walked to the town which is nearby, got a chinese takeaway and ate it on the table outside the venue which the staff provided plates and cutlery etc...

Everything was exceptional, the only small issue we had was in the bathroom we had a spider and a slug!! However, it's to be expected when you are staying in the countryside and opening / closing the backdoor for entry to the apartment. It is quite a funny story now ahaha

We had such a lovely stay! The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is very handsome. We were in Dunbar to go on a boat ride to the Isle of May from the harbour, which was in easy walking distance. We were delighted with Dunbar itself, a gorgeous location with stunning scenery and lots of independent shops and cafes on the high street. And we loved loved loved the hot tub with the views! We will be back next year (a bit earlier to hopefully catch the puffins on May!) and visit Dunbar again. Thank you to all at the hotel for helping to make our visit so special.

Nothing, it was wonderful.

We had a view of the firth which was amazing. We opted for the room with the four poster bed as we'd never tried that before. The bed was high and I needed the 'wee stool'. The staff were very friendly, especially for the morning breakfast. The room was fantastic; it had a large bay window and a stunning view. The room was very large and we loved the amount of space we had. We paid the same price(approx) for a room in Venice and this was ten times better. The room was immaculately clean and the bathroom enormous...though the bath tap dripped annoyingly, we solved that by closing the door. breakfast was good, with a truly breath taking view. Lots of car parking space.

Our room carpet was extremely worn. Also, there were marks from tea or coffee that detracted from the attractiveness of the room.

Wonderful location, easy walk into centre of town. Great view of water. Room was big with a comfortable bed, large shower, nice towels. Kettle with tea and coffee in room. Lots of seating, with a desk and sml table. Staff were friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble(carried my suitcase up and back down for me) Breakfast was good. Full breakfast or whatever combination you wanted. Lots of other tasty options to choose from also. There is a small bar which was lovely to sit and enjoy a drink. Plenty of free, on site parking. They also have dinner sittings in the breakfast room.

No sml fridge in room, but this is a minor thing. We were able to get our water bottles filled with cold water at breakfast. So no real problem. Long life milk is supplied with the tea coffee in room.

The staff were absolutely incredible and so so helpful and made my stay amazing, the views where incredible and the hotel looked amazing, there was a few small things to do with the accessability of the building that could be improved but apart from that my stay was absolutely amazing and I will be staying here again

The accessibility of the building could be improved a little bit, the small path way round to the hot tub rooms wasn't the greatest and we really struggled with our wheelchairs due to the stones on one side of the path and grass on the other , the path could be lengthened to improve this . The step on to the decking to get to the hot tub rooms was fairly high it would be great to have an option of a removable ramp , also having the option to have a shower chair in the room to make the accessibility of using the shower a bit easier

The staff, rooms and common areas of the hotel were absolutely perfect. Staff were friendly, helpful and took a genuine interest in guests, the rooms were cosy and spotless. My single room felt welcoming and spacious, and the view onto the sea was spectacular. The breakfast food was delicious. I just left and I’m already planning to visit again.

I could hear the thump of music coming from another room both nights and there was no phone in the room to ask reception to ask them to turn it down, but that being said, the beds were so comfy and the sound of the waves put me to sleep anyway. It would’ve probably annoyed me much more in a different setting, but I felt so lucky to be spending time in such a beautiful place.

Firstly, every member of staff we met was really friendly and really helpful. The food was very good. We had one evening meal in the restaurant which was very good. The breakfast selections and quality of food were also very good. Room was very warm, was serviced daily with fresh towels and gowns for the hot-tub. Room was also nice and dark and bed comfortable. Hot-tub with views over the Firth of Forth was superb. First hotel I have stayed in that gives you a realistic number of milk sachets for your tea and coffee! That alone is worth a thumbs up.

Two relatively minor things. There was a nice little two-seat sofa but no space for a coffee table so if you were sitting there having a drink you had to hold it or put it on the floor (first world problem, I know). A heated towel rail would be really useful in these rooms as the hot-tub meant that we were showering a lot and it got difficult to get towels dry enough. Alternatively, extra towels and a small laundry hamper for wet ones. If you're paying quite a chunk of money for the hot-tub you want to use it and need dry towels to get the most out of it.

All the staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. Room was very comfortable with a great view. Breakfast was great and plentiful, with a good range of options. Location was very central, a short walk to the high street, right on the seafront but peaceful and quiet.

Only very minor things - it was a bit difficult to identify the hotel when we arrived by car, as there were no signs at eye level or on the front door, only on the roof (which we only saw later)! A mini fridge in the room would have been great.

Wonderful location and single room (room 17) was spacious and had a great view of the rocks and sea! Breakfast was delicious! Staff were super friendly and helpful.

I ordered the hamburger for dinner the first night. It was very tough and not well enough cooked (I had asked for it very well done). As a result I couldn’t eat it. Staff asked if I wanted something else instead but I was nearly the last person in the restaurant at that time and didn’t want to wait for another meal and keep the staff late. The staff dealt with it very well, taking the dish off my bill. I found the menu quite limited - I had hoped for scallops to start then a lovely fish or pork dish but the choices were quite similar to a pub meal. However I would eat here again as the location is superb!

I loved my visit. I booked a wee single room for two nights. The bed was comfy, the room was clean, the sea view really exceeded my expectations and the chef does brilliant breakfasts. Staff are all incredibly friendly and engaging. The hotel is a little older, you can see where there are wee scuffs and a bit of DIY repair work. But it doesn't detract in any way from the charm and comfort of the place.

Can't think of anything really. Worst I can say is my shower door was a squeeze to get past, but that's because I need to lose significant weight and not their fault at all lol.
