Very conveniently located on the A1 on the outskirts of Dunbar. Within easy reach of the local golf courses. The staff were all very friendly and are clearly well trained. It was good having a pub next door to the accommodation, for breakfast and evening drinks.

Cleaning of rooms has to be requested, which is fine. However, on the one day in 5 I requested my room to be cleaned the job was a bit slap dash - for example my toilet wasn’t cleaned. Very disappointed that as a Marstons property they didn’t serve Marston’s Pedigree in the pub! No proper bitter at all.

Family room was great! Clean, spacious, comfy beds. We all enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast time was unfortunately a big let down. The continental "help yourself" was chaotic. We had to ask 3 times for bowls before we got any. The bread/croissants felt stale so the kids only ended up eating Cereal. We tried to order a Cappacino but the lady said the coffee machine wasn't working, however we had just ordered a latte 15mins previously and the gentleman brought it to us ?! The restaurant seemed under staffed and with it being a Sunday morning it was busy! We would stay again but eat elsewhere next time.

good clean room easy check in. a good nights sleep. evening meals available till 8.30 pm but there is a 24 hr MacDonalds within walking distance should you arrive later. breakfast from 7am.. Don't forget to take your room card with you everytime you leave otherwise you will not be able to get back in only one card issued per room.

Breakfast used to be a plated affair but now changed to buffet style. if you want Vegetarian sausages you have to ask as not in buffet. also same applies if you want Fried egg and not scrambled.

The Scottish breakfast was excellent but a tad overpriced, I feel the max for a b&b rate should be £8. Dinner for 19 family members was very good, and absolutely ideal for the 8 children we had, ages ranged 5-12. They had a great time on their own table and could use the playground in between courses without being nagged by the adults. Daring non alcholic cocktails added to their fun. Both of the young waitresses were superb and had enormous patience with everyone, especially the children. The nearby ASDA, garden centre and McD's gave menu variations if required. We were visiting our relatives and are thus familiar with the various places to go, but Dunbar and North Berwick rate very highly on 'our most enjoyable coastal destinations'. A very enjoyable mini break and we'll look forward to repeating it again next year.

Air con in one of the family rooms was not working and being a very hot day it made for an uncomfortable night. They tried to fix it and moved us the next day, but again the air con struggled to keep the room cool enough for comfort. Only one keycard per room made for lots of swapping back and forth during our 4 night stay, also our room door was tempremental with the key card.

I've been to Dunbar many times as my in-laws used to have a caravan there but no longer have it. My daughter and I booked the Pine Martin due to its location as we were doing a tour of the Belhaven Brewery. The receptionist was polite and professional when booking us in, and the room was fine as we were only staying one night. We went to the restaurant for dinner where, again, everyone was polite and helpful. The food was good, and the bar staff recommended a beer for me to try, and the same can be said when we went for breakfast.

Can't think of anything negative.

Our room was nice and comfy, free WiFi, telly, tea facilities and nice view. We were offered 20% off our evening meal or breakfast but opted to go into town to a nice Indian restaurant there which was 7 minutes bus ride away from the nearby stop. We noticed, however, that the food in the restaurant looked delicious and the bar was very nice both for families or a couple. We will definitely be back.

The availability of having a late breakfast

The room was an accessible unit. However there was a lack of wardrobe space for two persons. Also there was only one seat which was not an easy chair. There needs to be a review of comfortable seating for disabled persons, after all some people who are in a wheelchair all day sometimes need a comfortable easy chair to rest on after being out during the day. Obviously the wardrobe clothes rail position for wheelchair personnel needs to be at an adaptable/adjustable height in the region of 500mm to 750mm ?

Location, friendliness of staff, comfortable bed, decent shower, rooms very quiet despite being close to the A1. Decent parking (with EV chargers). Pub and restaurant next door Asda next door, including petrol station.

Reception is located in the pub next door.. Not ideal with luggage when it's busy.. Whilst we had a very comfortable stay, we all felt that £145 was just a bit too high a price for this basic level of accommodation, but then East Lothian, especially close to North Berwick, can be pricey.

It's situated in a great place. Was near pease bay which was lovely to take my kids down the beach to see where I spent my summers at the caravan.

Staff at night in the restaurant were not most helpful. Then when we went to our room everything was perfect room seemed all clean until we went to bed and there was dry blood on the edge of our bed sheet. Was very disappointed when I noticed it, because it then made me realise the sheets hadn't been changed from the people before.
