We cannot recommend this lovely BnB highly enough. Our room was beautifully decorated, spacious yet homely and fitted with everything we needed. Our towels were replaced and tea and coffee were replenished everyday. There is a beautiful garden out back where we enjoyed a cream tea that awaited us on arrival. Breakfast was exceptional. Our hosts were welcoming and very accommodating to our plans. Bampton is a lovely little village and a great location for exploring Devon. Parking was easy with the car park opposite with an honesty box. We would love to visit again.

Having got engaged a year before and then staying a night again on our honeymoon a year to date. made it feel extra special. Such lovely and honest owners, cleanliness exceptional, layout and standard amazing. No faults at all. Even got offered breakfast in room which made it very special. Thank you for having us and would love to carry on new apparent tradition to stay on wedding anniversary night 💕 Much appreciated 👏

Wow, my partner and I were really taken back by the cleanliness and homely feel of the bedroom and bathroom. We adored the decor. The owner was soo lovely and down to earth. Honestly the perfect getaway before Christmas. Not much was open because of the time of year but we found a mobile kebab van which we took back to the room as the weather proved very stormy and bitter. On the landing there was a mini fridge of alcoholic beverages and other various refreshments on offer which was a nice touch for our stay. Of course there's tea and coffee facilities in the room. The bathroom was spotless and inviting. We honestly cant fault anything and as well as recommending others, we are considering staying there again in the near future.

Welcoming from outside , inside was extremely clean , bedroom was spacious with lovely ensuite bathroom , various teas and cafetiere in room . Nigel and Caroline were so welcoming and very accommodating providing me with soya milk and gluten free options . We were greeted with fresh tea and coffee , homemade scone and cream and gluten-free chocolate brownie on arrival . Spoilt with a fantastic breakfast and lots of choice . Thank you for a wonderful stay .

There was nothing to dislike !

We were welcomed by the owner with a smile and an offer of a cream tea. Bridge House offers outstanding accommodation. Our bedroom with its gorgeous bed linen and comfortable bed was great for two good nights sleep. The bedroom and bathroom was extremely clean and well furnished. Breakfast each day was delicious. All produce is sourced locally. This was not our first visit and it will not be our last!!! Would definitely recommend

We had a wonderful overnight stay in this fantastic place. The host couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and we would definitely recommend Bridge House to other cyclists 🚴‍♂️.

We had a wonderful stay at Bridge House. Caroline was so welcoming and helpful. The room was excellent and so much thought had gone into making the room comfortable and relaxing. We had a super breakfast and also tried the food in the Cafe. We would highly recommend both the food and the rooms. We hope to return another time.

Perfect village location. Bridge House is really beautiful, amazing interior design, our whole stay was faultless - absolutely exceptional. The owner,Caroline, was truly delightful - we only wish we could have stayed longer.

This can’t be bettered!

Bridge House is a gem. A cafe by day serving home-made 'proper good food' there are 3 recently refurbished B&B rooms attached. Our room was spotlessly clean and stylishly appointed with a very comfortable bed, bespoke furniture, quality toiletries in the bathroom and a selection of teas, filter coffee and fresh milk in the room. We hadn't made a reservation for dinner locally but Caroline kindly allowed us to eat our take away from the (excellent) gastropub across the road in the cosy breakfast/sitting room. Breakfast was very good indeed! We were given a big jug of freshly squeezed orange juice, a bottle of apple juice and very good coffee while we chose from the menu which was varied and interesting with lots of options for vegetarians too. Caroline was an excellent host and Nigel a fabulous baker. In summary the best B&B I have stayed in.

A real gem of a find can't recommend highly enough for a relaxing stay. Room was fitted out to a high standard and super clean. Lovely village we ate in the restaurant Spelt. Excellent breakfast, could not fault anything. Will definitely return.
