Laird's Porridge - a family recipe is to die for! Hands down the best porridge I have had. Additionally, the Full Scottish Breakfast was a winner too. Excellent hosts and a very enjoyable stay for us.

No reason to fault Argyll Hotel, the description was precise and the service exceeded our expectations. Communication was very clear, polite and informative.

Great stay again at the Argyll. Service was brilliant, room was comfortable and food satisfactory (whilst good, a little refinement would make it much better). Sitting out on the terrace watching the sun go down will be one of the highlights of my summer! Not bad for a work trip!

The staff were very welcoming. Pam greeted us on arrival & had lots of recommendations for us in the local area which was very helpful. The outlook from the hotel is stunning - beautiful white beach & glistening blue sea. The food was also top notch!

The beds weren't the comfiest - a little hard for our liking but after a day out exploring in the fresh air we usually managed a good sleep!

Beautiful room overlooking the sea with everything you would expect in a 4 star hotel room. Nice toiletries and staff were very helpful and friendly. Boutique room and all very well done.

We had lovely days at the Argyll Hotel. Great big room, nicely decorated, cosy bed and linen. We didn't miss anything. The restaurant offers great food, regional but with a modern light touch. And the breakfast doesn't leave any wish open. Our dog loved the beach on the doorstep. We really enjoyed our days at Argyll Hotel. Thanks Ian and Nick and team. We will come back 🤗

Lovely warm welcome from Nick the owner and throughout our stay all staff were brilliant. Every meal was delicious, the conservatory restaurant was a delight to dine in with stunning views of the beach and Islands in the distance. Our bedroom also had a view of the beach and was really comfortable with lovely touches daily shortbread and mints. A big thank you to Nick and the team.

I haven't felt so relaxed in a long time. The hotel came highly recommended by locals in my village and it met every expectation. The hotel has such a tasteful, calming vibe with superb views of the coast and islands. The food was sublime at every meal. I will be back very soon.

Hotel is beautiful and the hosts are extremely friendly. It is a perfect location to explore the Kintyre peninsula, but it is slightly on the isolated side (so not if you want to go on a pub crawl). Room was extremely spacious, so was the bathroom and conveniently located close to the entrance, which made it easier to get out quickly with dogs. Hotel has a beautiful terrace that overlooks a beach (which is perfect for cold swims). We did not try the breakfast but dinner was really good, so we would definitely recommend the restaurant.

This hotel is an absolute gem sitting in a wee bit of paradise. The location is superb. The outside terrace by the absolutely stunning beach is perfection. Nick is a perfect host and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The food is superb, our room was well decorated with superb en suite and super clean , bonus in that it was sea facing with a door that opened up fully with amazing views. We are not dog owners but thought that the owners dogs who wander around were both beauties and perfectly behaved gave the place a real homely feeling . Do yourselves a favour folks if you are visiting Campbeltown or surrounding area give this place a look . You definitely won’t be disappointed

Lovely location right on the beach. Excellent food in the restaurant..Didn't have breakfast but I'm sure it was good,!, unfortunately our room was on the ground floor ,(room 9) facing the road with people walking past so had to keep the blind shut. The room was a good size with a large wet room.

Room at the front but only there 2 nights. The door was also difficult to lock
