The traditional style and warm welcome are above and beyond. I felt very much at home here. Home cooked food, perfect location with lovely views of Arran and beautiful drives to some of the most stunning beaches I've been to. This is definitely one of the small, friendliest hotels I've stayed in. My room was clean and comfortable. Pillows are fab!! My dog was almost part of the furniture, and nothing was any bother to the owners. These ladies work non stop to maintain the Carradale and I highly recommend you support a small business. Thank you so much for one of the nicest weekends I've had. Will be back.

This small hotel is run by a formidable team of three generations of women. They couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful for our two-day stay. The food was fresh and delicious and we ate both nights in the conservatory overlooking the garden and with views across to Arran. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. It was a lovely touch to have warm croissants ready at the table. Thank you, for looking after us so well.

Warm welcome, really helpful & friendly staff, amazingly comfortable bed and cosy room with everything we needed. All the personal touches really matter. Very dog friendly and even have dog treats in the bar. Really excellent food, menu changes regularly and is varied. Breakfast excellent and inclusive in our deal. Quiet location so very peaceful - Carradale beach a short walk or even shorter drive away. Kintyre gin distillery close by with an excellent cafe as well as the gin (which is my new favourite, really lovely botanicals). Handy for a trip to Campbeltown too! Highly recommended and would definitely return.

The owner and staff were amazing hosts, booked for work purpose for 4 days , but job carried on for a extra day and they helped us out with another days booking at short notice. All round loved it, Great hotel, good rooms, good food and drink at resonable prices. Great surroundings and staff.

Rona and Cara were lovely. Their knowledge about the village is fantastic, friendly and very accommodating. Love the feel of a family run business. The rooms were what I expected. The food was fantastic. Definitely be back if I return in the future.

We did our own breakfast but had a couple of meals at the hotel. Easy come and go. Home from home atmosphere.

The hot water was not on a ring main, so you have to wait ages for hot water at the tap in the bathroom. This is a common issue in older buildings that have not had a major upgrade to their plumbing.

The Ladies who run this hotel are lovely, nothing at all is a bother and they make you feel very welcome. The food, which is homemade is nothing short of delicious. Comfy bed, lovely view, we stayed in Jura. Carradale is a bit off the beaten track but worth it, the Bay is gorgeous. Would love to return again.

This hotel is very comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful and thoughtful, you can’t ask for more than that, and the food is exceptional. I would highly recommend it.

Lovely room, comfy bed, a bathtub, and with a view of Arran, what more do you need. Really nice, friendly owner who goes out of her way to make your stay enjoyable. Super breakfast with a good choice of continental and cooked. I'd definitely stay here again

Excellent breakfast and dog friendly. Rhona and her family made me very welcome and were very kind. Lovely cozy room and very comfortable bed. Beautiful scenery all around. Will come back to the Carradale Hotel for a holiday.
