Very good value for money in an historic place like Beverley. The guesthouse is right next to Beverley Minister and close to shops and public transport. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was always plenty of hot water. You can catch the train from Beverley to Hull (very close) or Scarborough.

Stayed in room with brass bed, functional, fridge, towels tea etc etc. Could have done with a deep clean but given the other bonus's and 5 mins to centre, it was fine. Those giving awful reviews and nasty comments I would suggest they walk 30 mins further, pay for parking and pay another £100 for the stay. Don't expect the Ritz when you are paying £60 for a Saturday night with this great location and historical area building right next to the beautiful minster.

Can't understand the poor reviews, I was very pleased with everything about my stay. Smooth check-in and door entry system, lovely room, comfortable bed, good en-suite bathroom. Having a fridge in the room was a big bonus, also there was a microwave that I didn't use, and a lovely desktop fan that was much appreciated on a very hot day. Lovely big TV that wasn't smarter than me! Being a short walk from the Minster was an added bonus, and the bells didn't disturb me at all, they were lovely. Handy for the town centre and railway station too. Booked at very short notice as the price was attractive, and it didn't let me down at all. Highly recommended.

Once I received the codes via txt message the check in process was simple, After negotiating 3 flights of stairs to my room on the top floor, I upgraded from dorm to single room during week which the staff were very helpful with, I was quite impressed that it had a microwave & fridge as well as a double bed with towels & ample supply of the usual refreshments. As for toilet & washing facilities, on my floor there was a separate toilet which was slightly cramped for 6ft4 bloke, then there was another toilet room with a bath & overhead shower & sink & next to my room was a shower room with sink. I used the shower room it's not the greatest shower the pressure was low & kept going hot & cold, looks like a solenoid problem may need replacing that's the plumber in me coming out! Regarding location you are right next to Beverley Cathedral so easy to find & you are within 10 mins walk to main town centre, rail & bus station. Some have complained about noise of Cathedral but to be honest I could hardly hear it. All in all a pleasant place to stay & ideally placed to enjoy the sights of the town.

Nothing really major, just the doors were a bit springy & stiff, you need a bit oomph to open them. And as I said shower needs either a service or replacement which will probably be cheaper.

The brilliant location right next to the Minster was perfect to easily get around Beverley. The station is a short walk and parking was sorted out by the host very quickly. The room was spacious and it was great I was able to open the window and get some fresh air in. Tea and coffee was available and a vending machine downstairs was a nice touch. I was very impressed with the fantastic value and would definitely recommend it for all other travelers who want to be central but not have to pay the extortionate prices some places charge in Beverley. The host, Harry was fantastic and very responsive. Very happy with my stay!

The shower pressure wasn't great but liveable. The fireplace could do with a quick clean but that didn't affect my stay. No major issues at all!

The location is excellent and parking both times I’ve stayed has not been an issue.

It’s a budget hotel and, as such, it’s very reasonable for the price considering the location which is beautiful. The bells from the Minster chime all night so take earplugs if you’re a light sleeper!

Breakfast not included but the room was just what we wanted: clean, comfortable and with all facilities required.

Nothing, the room was excellent. The only draw back, the owner was quite abrupt and discourteous on the phone BUT I'd certainly use this accommodation again.

We had a lovely one night stay. Everything was very good . When we arrived we had clear instructions on how to enter the hotel and find the room etc. We were provided with a parking permit which was really helpful. Clean comfortable room with everything we needed and a great location . Thank you would definitely stay again.

I thought it was definitely worth the price and in an excellent location, right in the middle of Beverley! The check in and sorting out the parking for my car was very easy and simple, no contact. Would stay again

The room could have been better presented but not really a problem for me.

The location was great, just beside the Minster. The room was very cheap so we had low expectations but the room was clean, everything was fine. It was way better then we thought it would be and we would definitely stay here again.
