Ideal location just a very short walk from the market square we were there for the weekend so able to enjoy the market the weather was glorious Breakfast was amazing dogs are welcome staff were lovely at night the pub and beer garden are very lively with young and old alike the residents of Beverley so friendly you feel safe walking around and had the best fish and chips just across the road We worry about parking but needn't as there is a carpark adjacent free after 6 and Sundays

Our stay wasn't long enough

Lovely BnB and couldn’t fault anything for the price. The location was amazing near the high street and with takeaways across the road and a nice bar in the BnB itself. Breakfast was lovely and was peaceful at night. The dog was even welcome too! Every single member of staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Room was clean and had all I needed, tea coffee, tv, iron facilities, hair dryer and a spacious bathroom!

No parking but didn’t affect me too much as I was dropped off, there is public parking across the road but is chargeable.

Nice location and easy to find. Lovely breakfast and good value for money. Rooms small but ok for an overnight stay. Tea and coffee in the room and a large tv. The pub is lively at night but you can't hear the bar upstairs in the rooms

Check in was difficult, we arrived at 5.45 pm and the bar was really busy and we were stood with small child and baby in a really busy bar, once the barman came to us and we started to book in he then went to serve someone a bottle of wine and left us standing around again!. The bedroom was at the rear of the pub and there was a large fan/extractor below us and was loud and didn't go off until 12ish and kicked back in at 6 so didn't get much sleep. The shower only trickled water and once the water was hot it wouldn't turn down and remained hot and couldn't shower properly due to the heat.

Everything was clean in the room and the bedding lovely and there was a little TY a good bathroom stand to put stuff around the sink and lots of hot water and a sericable shower that worked fine. Walking distacne from station even wiyth a couple of bags. Five inmutes from Minster, St Mary's (a must to visit) and the shopping in the town. We chose the B&B because it was dog firiendly - unusual in a Town centre. and what a Town Beverley is...a gem. Breakfast was decent well cooked and nicely presented. Plenty of creals and grapefruit yoghurt etc. Coffee a little weak for my taste but it's a comment not a complaint. Check in at pub bar. I was on my way to a funeral and I was allowed to check into my room really early. They could not have been more accommodating. I'd also prefer better bread but the toast was nicely done and good selection of conserves.

The bathroom suite and flooring is clean if a little dated but these rooms remember are all dog friendly and everything about the ambience should reflect that....it is is the heart of Beverly itself.

The staff were super helpful and friendly. Our twin room had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the room was at the side of the hotel so was quiet. It was 5 mins walk to the centre, 10 mins from the minster, 10 mins to the bus station. There are groundfloor rooms for anyone with mobility problems. Breakfast had a good choice. I chose an ommellette. Lovely, excellent hotel.

Only fault was our shower cubicle doir kept coming off the runner and the bathroom light pull was metal and heavy. As it was very near the door you needed to be careful. Replacement with ceramic or plaster would be good. Easy jobs to do so didnt spoil our stay.

Ideally located in the centre of town, just yards from the main square, with a spotlessly clean, comfortable yet quiet room. The staff were helpful, friendly and approachable, the hearty breakfast was very tasty and the rates were most reasonable. Ample public parking is available across the street, and the many attractions of this historic and lovely town, including the breathtaking Minster and St Mary's Church (with its Alice 'white rabbit'), are within easy walking distance. Highly recommended.

A padded stool is provided in the room, but a simple chair would have been preferable.

The Windmill is so nice and in such an ideal location for a good night out. The Inn itself was warm and had a really nice feel about it. We had a room above the pub which was great, it was small but that was not a problem we only needed somewhere to sleep. The room had everything we needed a kettle for tea or coffee a small bathroom with a shower cubical and somewhere to hang your clothes. The room itself was very clean and nicely decorated the bed was fresh and clean did seem a little on the small side for a double and was very soft too soft for us but that is our preference they cannot cater for everyone. The room was right above the kitchens which made it very warm even without the radiator on. We returned around 12am and had no issues with noise and the pub had closed so all good. Breakfast the next morning was good, plenty of options and great service from the waitress. Over all we had a really great stay.

Bed a bit soft and to warm but not a complaint.

Super value, lovely staff, and a lot more cosy and smart than I expected for the price (and some of the reviews reviews). Super clean, comfy beds, and ideal central location. Breakfast included in the price was an enormous plus - cereal, fruit and yoghurt, vpjant based milk if you wanted it, fruit juice and choice of full English or something lighter like eggs or toast. Staff were great about making what wanted. I don't know where the poorer reviews are coming from because this had more trimmings than the likes of the budget chain motels. Fresh towels daily I get ths impression the owners are really making an effort in spite of the reasonable price

No food available in adjoining pub in the evening, although plenty of places to eat nearby. I was upstairs the annexe and there was a bit of food smell from the takeaway next door at night, but nothing bad at all. The layout of the annexe (open to the elements) doesn't look promising, but the room was lovely once inside. We were there midweek, so not sure about noise on weekends. Bathroom only slightly dated but spotless.

A quaint, old building, brought up to modern day spec. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room (18) was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb and set us up nicely for the day. The price was good value for money. The location was excellent.

We were led to believe the parking was £5.70, but it ended up costing £12. Admittedly, this is not a great amount of money, but it's more than double what we were expecting to pay. There is a constant pulsating thump 24/7, coming from outside. We could hear it with the windows closed and the TV on. It made getting to sleep difficult. To be fair, staff did offer to change rooms, but we'd already unpacked by then.

This place is just off the high street. The accommodation block is to the side of the pub, so there is no noise from the pub itself. The bed is comfortable, and the room is well presented. No parking available, but there is a public car park across the road - Grayburn.. Make sure you find the long stay section. Breakfast was nice, and they were happy to provide me with vegetarian food and oat milk.

Mostly really good but there is a constant thrumming noise from ? Machinery outside which I was aware of. The walls between rooms are a bit thin and not really soundproofed. The long stay car park section at Grayburn Rd was very busy. A good alternative is School lane,.still close to the town.
