Bingham Town House is a great place to stay, all the staff were very nice, Jamie on reception was very helpful, when we asked if we could have breakfast a bit earlier. Our double room was very clean, with a comfortable bed, there is a place to put your bag/case, tea and coffee with delicious biscuits, plus a jug to fill from the water cooler just outside the room, the shower in the bathroom was good. As the weather was hot, there was a fan in the room which was very useful . A large selection of breakfast cereals, jam's and marmalades, plus yogurts and pastries, there is also a varied cooked selection, along with toast and porridge. The lady serving breakfast was very attentive and nice. We ate in the Yeung Sing Restaurant on the Friday evening which was excellant, our server was very knowledgable and advised us on portion sizes, the decoration in the restaurant is very bright and cheerful. There is plenty of parking at the rear.

Friendly staff. On site Chinese restaurant and bar. Central location close to main road routes. Handy for local shops. Excellent food at breakfast time, very good choices. We both loved the comfy bed and had an excellent night's sleep. We love the quirky rooms at the hotel, and we will be back again.

Having to bend down a bit to avoid banging our heads on the sloping ceiling in the room and bathroom. There were no drawers to put stuff in, and there were not really many surfaces to put stuff on, but we thought that was maybe due to only being there for 1 night. I wouldn't have wanted to stay in that particular room for any more than 1 night as I like to unpack and not keep going into my case for stuff that I need.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Bingham and it was the same excellent service from all the staff we met. The breakfast is first class, such a choice of both cooked and continental. Rooms are clean and comfortable and although there were plenty of people staying it was quiet. You are able to get filtered water from a machine on the stairs using a jug that is provided in your room, a nice touch and helps reduce plastic. Tea and coffee provided in room with complimentary biscuit. When in the area again we would have no hesitation in booking to stay at the Bingham.

Nothing

The second floor room was very nicely furnished, although the bathroom was a bit tired. Very comfortable bed and no problem with traffic noise despite the window opening above a main road. Breakfast was excellent, we`d stay there again just to enjoy that. We ate in the Cantonese restaurant which was superb, excellent service and absolutely delicious food. Overall an excellent stay which I`m sure we will repeat.

My wife and I have mobility issues so in hindsight we would have preferred a first floor room, but we will know better when we next stay. Otherwise a really enjoyable experience.

We chose the Bingham Townhouse as it was near to where we were to meet other family members. We booked two rooms and both rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a good selection of either cooked or continental to choose from. Thank you to Nigel and his team for making our short stay a pleasant one.

Ideally situated a short walk from the station for regular trains into Nottingham. Free parking at the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet room (#16) with large comfortable bed and a well equipped bathroom. There was a portable fan in the room which was a welcome addition as the weather was unusually warm. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.

Duvet filling was unevenly lumpy with nothing in the main body and all clustered around the edges. Mentioned this to the manager so hopefully it is now sorted. Background music in the breakfast room was very monotonous and boring.

It was clean and tidy and well decorated. The staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was amazing, the best sausage I have ever had from a local butcher too!

The reception area seemed very dated and not in keeping with the rest of the hotel. The bedroom we had was right at the top of the building so far enough away from the bar but we were clearly in the loft area and one bed seemed like it was in a former cupboard, like a little off shoot from the main room! I felt like Harry Potter 😂

Location was ideal for what we wanted. The room was cosy and the bed comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was served fresh and was delicious. We had a meal in the restaurant on the Sunday at the all you can eat buffet. Food was wonderful. Bar and cocktails great! Will definitely come again.

Parking was a little limited, but this was only because some people couldn’t park within the parking spaces.

Great location off of A1 or M1 with excellent free parking with a BP Pulse EV 50kwh charger in its car park (this for public use also). Room was small but clean and tidy with good condition decoration. Double glazing held back any noise from the road and numerous eateries/pubs below. Very pleasant village feel to this small town and a good range of restaurants close by. None closer though than the Cantonese restaurant which is part of the Townhouse - its worth a visit just for this - Superb menu and very friendly staff. You'll meet the friendliest of all, John, who has a wonderful collection of stories to regale you with! A real highlight of our stay was the magnificent breakfast - really, probably the best breakfast I've had in a hotel so if you are into your food go for the full english and check it out - the Sausage/Bacon is incredible. Overall a very pleasant stay - Would we come back? - definite yes!

Stairs could be an issue as we were on 2nd floor (12) but there is a lift and that can take you to the first level only so if any mobility issues of any sort ask for max 1st floor. No dressing table for Wife to apply makeup and do hair etc although there is a hairdryer.

Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Parking is easy and free. The Chinese restaurant was superb! The range and imaginative menu, the quality of the food and the service could not have been bettered. They even researched and made us toffee potatoes as a special request despite not having come across them before - we had them in China but have never seen them on a menu in the UK.. We ate there three times and every time dinner was tasty and plentiful. We opted to include breakfast which was plentiful and good value. Good location just down from the Market Square and very convenient for regular local buses to Nottingham.

I am hunting for anything to say here. At 4ft 6ins the bed seemed narrow.
