Loved the spacious room, massive bed I wanted one for my home. Breakfast I couldn’t fault it except that I was told the cooked breakfast wasn’t hot enough. I had porridge and fruit all lovely as was the pastries. I also like the fact we could buy sandwiches and crisps we need for the Pure Worship Convention as we didn’t want to waste lunchtime looking for a snack. The meal we had at the hotel Hilton was also good because we didn’t want to search for a restaurant on the evening of our arrival. All in all I would recommend Hilton. There was a wedding on that didn’t impact on our use of Hilton. Parking was rearranged for me right outside the hotel at a very reasonable cost.

Residents who had left their takeaway debris outside their room door. What is with these people?

Staff at reception were friendly, staff at the gild and go were lovely and very helpful. The trainee at the bar was nice aswell. The rooms are lovely and pool was the warmest pool I've ever been in.

Our first night at the hotel, we had pizza and chips at the gild bar, noone came to ask how our food was, a lady went to every table but ours to check on them and bring food and drinks over. We had paid over £60 for the meal and drinks. The pizza we had was like a £2 frozen pizza from Tesco, costing £17.50. We weren't even given any cutlery or offered any condiments. The service was poor, Other than the lady who served us. We have stayed here for rogue events conventions previously, 5 times, and never had this in that time.

The wow factor when you walk in greeted by friendly staff reception bar staff we booked a penthouse for our anniversary meeting family there stunning room fabulous view from balcony balloons on the bed with little chocolate balloons in the living and two beautiful cakes with cream and strawberries great treat not expected great breakfast in the morning

we had a special experience with a lounge access we we could have light food soft drinks alcohol which is really nice however I walked in the room with my sons who had booked luxury rooms to take three bottles out side where was confronted by a rude women who just came in there followed us down to the fridges and said you can't take them out we will send them to your room instead in a while we wanted them outside in the sun waiting for family to go for a meal

Always a great stay at this hotel, location is perfect and for a Hilton it has kept it's good standards whereas most others I have stayed in now in the UK are becoming substandard. Having a 24 hour bar is also always a great addition. Parking is easy and reasonably priced for the location. This will always be my first choice hotel when staying at the NEC.

I have been staying at this hotel for 15 or so years, although nothing is a problem as yet, I feel the hotel will need to start to modernise and keep up repair as if it doesn't it may follow other Hiltons. The lifts, they work but the doors are becoming slow, they are noisy and you are given the feeling, perhaps the stairs might be a safer bet. Like I said, not something that would put me off staying again but just constructive feedback for things that perhaps could do with a little revamp before they do become a problem.

the rooms where lovely, well kept and tidy, everything you needed for a one night business stay. The hotel had good parking, and close to the vox which we where visiting for business purposes. Staff where friendly, helpful, breakfast was really good quality for a hotel, but be prepared this hotel gets busy, so if that's not for you, something to think about.

we where told that random guests get picked and their rooms upgraded free of charge, one of us was "lucky" enough to get a free room upgrade, so we joked and said take photo's, i want to see your room upgrade etc. when we met back up later, it wasnt an upgrade, it was the exact room as the rest of us, which is what we booked and paid for. So why lie... it was exactly what we booked and nothing extra to the rest of us...very very odd!

I am usually really picky about cleanliness but I actually couldn't find one thing wrong which was really nice! Beds were really comfortable and I liked that they had digital signs everywhere to tell you what was going on.

I didn't really like the area, it was either empty or rammed with people depending on what is going on. As it's not a town or something, it's just a place where people go for entertainment or work there's a weird atmosphere. But overall I enjoyed my stay. I also thought that for the size of hotel the breakfast restaurant was far too small for the amount of people. We got up early to go and there was hardly anywhere to sit. Then when we left at 8am there was a queue of maybe 200 people stretched across the hotel all the way to the entrance waiting for breakfast. Also definitely not worth the £18.

Participated in ConFuzzled 2025 (with Early Arrival) and came to the Hilton one day prior to that. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Location quiet and stunning.

Am somewhat disabled, so had originally booked a twin accessible room. Unfortunately, Confuzzled booking had not made clear that this implied (on a lovely, spacious room 1040) that my assistant would have to sleep on a roll-in bed. So he also needed a proper bed, we changes to a ordinry twin room (1042). With the known consequence of me not being able to shower for the whole week. Still, a nice room and a very nice stay!

I always enjoy a trip to the Hilton Hotel Metropole in Birmingham. Stafford fantastic food is delicious. Service at the bar is always really good as well and the location is perfect.

I don’t know why, but I did find getting my breakfast in the morning a bit confusing. One of the coffee machines wasn’t working which didn’t help and the other one was having a clean so that’s snarled everything up. I would’ve kind of thought you would’ve planned to do the cleaning of the machine, perhaps when breakfast service wasn’t ongoing. Also I had a waffle but I was really disappointed to find the Nutella in packets. Terrible packets I would’ve expected better than that from the Hilton.

Receptionist automatically upgraded my room at check in. Hotel is perfect in terms of the facilities it offers and location for the arena and NEC. The coffee kiosk by reception. However, I wish they sold more than danish pastries as breakfast items, pots of yoghurts, porridge pots and fresh fruit would be great. Not everyone wants a full on hotel breakfast. (£9.00 spent at Costa coffee in Resorts world got us coffee, toast and yoghurts)

Room carpets are getting tired they could do with a deep clean/refresh. They were vacuumed clean but a deep clean would instantly refresh the room. Luckily the windows opened to make room smell “fresher”. It didn’t impact my stay because I was hardly in my room.
