It was a very nice hotel and a very comfortable bed and the person who was on when we arrived I think he's named was PAUL WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND VERY ACCOMMODATING VERY VERY NICE PERSON EVERYTHING WE ASKED FOR HE WAS MORE THAN HAPPY TO HELP WITH A SMILE A GENUINE NICE PERSON A CREDIT TO THE TEAM He even made it possible to have the pool to ourself and just to add the pool is fantastic OUT OF THE HOTELS IN BLACKPOOL WE HAVE STAYED AT THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST FOR THE MONEY

All was good but the night porter was very MEASURABLE it was like everything was hard work when you ask for something and he didn't speak much, it took the shine off a lovely stay he definitely needs some people skills, other than that I would say good value for money you definitely get what you pay for

The staff at this hotel were exceptional. I travelled with my 4 year old who we are waiting on tests to confirm autism. She struggles in strange places and often has melt downs. Every member of staff I came across want out of the way to support me..special thanks to the lady on reception who managed to get me into my room early so I could get my daughter settled but who also helped me with my luggage And then the man in charge of the breakfast room. My daughter had a full meltdown a couple of guest were visibly annoyed which didn't help but he did everything in is power to help and in the end when I had to take her back upstairs he brought us food to our room. It may seem like a small thing but to me it was huge. I told the manager of the hotel as I was leaving and I really hope these two particular people get some recognition I would 100%stay again

The hotel its self was fine..basic but fine it was a very good price so I was happy with what I got for my money. The only things I would say is a lick of paint would freshen the room and the gap under the door somehow being filled. There was some very noisy kids playing hide a seek in the corridors at 10pm and the gap under the door made it hard to tune them out. Also we had no hairdryer or bedside plugs.

We stayed in room 1 the suite it was perfect for our break, the bed was massive and very comfy the rain fall shower was lovely to use, and it was nice and quiet at night, the swimming pool was brilliant and we had it to our self's we definitely had fun. The breakfast was fantastic lots of choice the wife was very pleased with the poched eggs that she had made for her, the evening meal was very nice too the 3 course offer is definitely a good choice, bar area / balcony was lovely to chill out in and enjoy a drink, The staff were fantastic and very friendly and helpful especially the girls who were on the bar and at breakfast, will definitely recommend and return.

Nothing we enjoyed our stay.

Love the size of the family suite!!! Absolutely perfect for what we needed, giving the kids their own space and room. Fridge with small freezer was a bonus when staying multiple nights. Staff are friendly and the location is quieter then near the tower as we wanted. Good onsite parking for £6 per day.

The room was a little outdated and all the curtains were either hung on by a single thread or had fallen completely down. The TVs would be great if they came with Netflix. Can mirror screen your phone but the Internet isn't very stable and keeps disconnecting. The locks on the door were very stiff and hard to open. Also, there was leftover Chinese in the fridge from the previous guest that smelled the whole fridge out

We loved how friendly every member of staff are, the rooms are a lovely size, beds are really comfy. The bar is well stocked, food is amazing we had breakfast every morning and it was an all you can eat style. They have a games room they had pool, air hockey, crane, racing, slot machines. They have a pool that you can private hire That has a jacuzzi and a sauna and it left like you was walking in to a hot bath. Bluewater is not far from then town it was a lovely walk only took about 10-20 mins. We loves our stay and we will be going back next year!

The bacon was a little hard ( but did take really nice)

Lovely hotel and we have stayed in quite a few in the area. The room was a good size for 2 adults and a child although it was a pity you couldn't see the tower from the window, but you can't have everything and there was an excellent sea view stretching right to the North Pier. It was very hot when we visited, so it was a pity there was no fan you could rent or the window didn't open a little bit more. It is worth booking the pool privately, we have never had one to ourselves before and it was very relaxing. The food was good, we booked for breakfast and evening meal, there was something for everybody and it was quick service. Staff were all friendly and available for anything that you needed, also hard-working as they were always on the go. The bar was reasonably priced and well stocked. There is a tram and bus stop nearby, although the trams were very full by the time they got to the stop at Pleasant Street going into Blackpool

Too hot in the room, it is a pity the window only opened a couple of inches but I do understand it is to stop people throwing things out and for safety. Next time I would probably see if I could book a room with one of the bay windows

Most of the staff was fantastic.we had a few problems when we first arrived.we got moved to a more suitable room.on the ground floor.the swimming pool was amazing..for myself I'm classed as disabled.i could walk down the steps..the water was warm..the dinners was really tasty..loved the cooked breakfast..i got on with most of the staff.there wasn't many in the hotel.due to the time of year..you had to pay to use swimming pool..£8 plus you payed extra for parking £5 a night.the hotel is in a great position.on the sea front..the beds in the rooms was very comfortable..

The one man on reception.the one with the bald head.he was not very nice when checking up in.me and my sister ant spring chickens.he tried to rush us.and when we checked out.we asked him if he could help us down the stairs, with our suitcases..we explained we found it difficult to get the suitcase down the stairs outside of hotel.he replied.well you go them up the steps.when checking in.guess he didn't win at charm school .plus the water in the rooms.was not hot even after we ran the tap a bit.we didn't shower when we was there.due to this problem.i did inform the reception..plus the changing rooms in the swimming baths ant warm at all..most of the staff was brilliant..over all this hotel is of good stadard.i would stop again too.

The reception team always gave us a warm welcome . They gave us all info about breakfast times , bar & how to book the swimming pool . Our room 309 Family room - double: 2 singles was perfectly sized with wardrobes ‘ enough drawers , mirrors . hangers . Hairdryer available from reception . it was spotless & warm/ comfortable. Brilliant help yourself full English breakfast , juices, hot drinks - even hot chocolate , cereals, toast etc . Bacon was superb , cooked just right and hardly any fat on it . All the usual items , and always hot . Provided us with tea& milk top ups when we asked - a big bag full !! Staff friendly & quickly topped up food when getting low & cleared tables . An evening meal was available if you wanted it £15 for 3 courses . The hotel had a fantastic location on the front ; fabulous to watch the waves & sunset from the bar or games area . Games area was great , our grandchildren made friends . You could take drinks in there .Most games were £1 . Drinks were reasonably priced & good choice of pump beers etc . Used the pool/ jacuzzi £5 for 1 hour each pre booked our time slot one night . we had the area to ourselves . Not far to walk from the train station , we didn’t take our car but all the spaces were taken when we arrived so we would have to have parked else where . Lift to access all levels - I am on oxygen so it was essential for me . Tram stops outside for both directions . We all absolutely loved our stay ( 2 adults & 2 grandchildren 12&9) & will be back soon . Ignore poor reviews of when it was the Bedford Hotel . Thank you .

Just 1 thing - the bathroom could do with a re furb but Bluewaters are slowly getting through rooms since they took over from previous owners / Bedford. So everything was clean & functional ( bath with shower over ) . Water was always hot & radiators on timer but shabby and wardrobes/ fittings needed an upgrade.

Good quiet location overlooking seafront. Parking was easy & a great rate £6 for 24hrs. Room was clean, fresh recent carpet & bathroom was clean & tidy tho chrome radiator was rusting ? Bed & linen was crisp & clean, tho bed height may not suit anyone of small build but once in was very comfortable 👌 Decor looked tired but easily rectified with a couple coats of paint. Bar & reception overlooks seafront.

Unfortunately I wouldn't consider the property wheelchair friendly as there are 4 steep steps to entrance ? I had difficulty as i walk with crutches. I wasn't made aware of any alternative access ? I requested a lower ground room before arriving as I'd read a recent review saying the lift was out of order & didn't enquire if it had been repaired. Most of the decor is looking very tired.

I liked the room and the view was amazing. We had a sea view. And the food was delicious. Like the fact there is a swimming pool. Even though we didn't get to use it at I will next time I book.

There was a bit of a problem at dinner because when I booked I didn't book Dinner bed and breakfast I only booked for bed and breakfast. Our first day was lovely and the 2nd day was not as easy to just order food at first but it got sorted in the end. And the lady apologise for the mistake. But it has not put me off booking again as the food was delicious and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The view was also amazing.
