The place was like a Phoenix that’s risen from the ashes, very Clean and tidy, staff are absolutely amazing and very attentive nothing is any bother , central to Blackpool tower and beach, hotel was amazing, lots of comfortable seating areas in front of windows and outside, nice and quiet, our bedroom was beautiful looked like it was brand-new well equipped with everything you need even a hairdryer in the draw , the tea &coffee facility was nice and tidy with a draw underneath with a good selection of tea coffee and biscuits, the en suite was brilliant lots of hot water shower looked new with a rain forest shower head the water pressure never dropped, we went half board and the food was fantastic and plenty of choices couldn’t ask for any more, the nighttime entertainment was brilliant wish we never lived so far away from Southampton. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to see you again

I booked this hotel for my partners 50th birthday as a surprise. The communication was excellent before our stay to ensure all my requests were met. There was a birthday card wrote out from all the staff and chocolates which was a surprise for my partner, which i thought was lovely as so did he. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and it had everything we needed. Great location and not far from the train station, beach and the Tower. It was a really enjoyable stay.

Storm Agnes joined us for our little break but can't fault the hotel.

I loved it all no faults i had an amazing time for my first time being at the ruskin it was amazing loved the spa and the music especially loved the boogie wonderland night, I also liked the food and people they were so nice and friendly making me want to stay longer, also the worker Terry in the lounge was such a super person for making sandwiches my mum as well so thankyou so much for doing it when she couldn't move and if I come to blackpool again I will definitely stay here again I think it's the best in blackpool defiantly number 1

In the cabaret lounge one of the workers told us to shut up it wasn't Terry he was fantastic and so nice but the other man by the door shut the door on me when I was leaving and told me and my mates to shut up which was a little rude but other than that everything was amazing and i loved everything else

We loved the atmosphere 😍 the friendly team 👏 the delicious breakfast everything available and hot 😋 the closeness to our venue just a short walk 🚶‍♀️ although we didn't use it they have exquisite entertainment on top class 👍if we were to come for a show again we would use this hotel definitely 🙂but if we come to Blackpool for a visit unfortunately they don't allow dogs we would have to pick a dog friendly hotel cos we love our pooch sorry🥰 Thank you Hotel Ruskin team for a lovely time Kim & Mike xx

All staff excellent. Polite friendly could not do enough to assist. Breakfast was the best I have ever eaten in a seaside resort. Catered for absolutely every taste. Full English was hot and delicious. Every cereal yoghurts fresh fruit hot toast tea coffee and pastries. Stored luggage in a secured room when checked out and waiting for transport. Beds spotless and very comfy.

Beautiful entrance bars reception area. Above corridors and rooms in need of desperate update. Very dated in need of modernisation. One very small lift for large hotel not addiquate and not full to capacity so would be poor if hotel full. Corridors very narrow and like a rabbit Warren. Few properties made into one. Would struggle to get out in an emergency and confusion.

Yes lovely freshly cooked breakfast every morning if you like cereals yogurts toast available too if you wanted tea & coffee lovely staff.very clean. great view of Blackpool Tower from our window.handy for everything near by.good room spacious comfy

We were in a premier room comfy beds but what would have made it better if the rooms were supplied with a little fridge to keep your water milk juices cold

The hotel and staff was lovely. It was clean and our room was a good size. Even had an air conditioning unit in it. The bar food was nice and plenty of it but choice would be a little limited if you were staying for a while. There was also a very large dining room serving breakfast and dinner on a time slotted service. The thing I was happiest about buying was the secure parking. Well worth the money.

The biggest bugbear was the lift. It was a very large hotel which was well occupied and there was a very large amount of elderly or infirm guests (myself included) who couldn't use the stairs but there was only one lift and maximum capacity was 8 people, although to be honest you wouldn't want more than 6 people at a time. This resulted in very long waiting times, especially at meal times, it even resulted in a few people being late for their meal time slot and çheck out day was absolute chaos.

the room and hotel excellent and the breakfast 10 the location 10 everything was excellent the staff excellent always there when you need help with anything and there is a porter service thanks to the staff all work really hard working staff

I have stayed at the Ruskin several times and simply cannot fault it. The staff are wonderful and so helpful, rooms are spotlessly clean and modern, food is excellent and my father (who usually travels with me) LOVES Rolys bar. The location is spot on too.

Rooms are excellent, only thing I think they could benefit from is a mini fridge. Also, prices are a tad expensive for Blackpool, but I suppose you get what you pay for 😀

My Mum and I really enjoyed the breakfast and location. The staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough to assist us.

While the room was delightful and exceeded expectations, it was regrettably situated next to the elevator, resulting in noise disturbances throughout the night along with the beeping of the closing door. I would like to proposed that this be silenced during the night; when you are in the lift, you are already aware that you have selected a floor and do not require an audible confirmation. In addition, the spa was out of action which was a shame as it would have been nice to use following a day out seeing the sights.
