We stayed here for one night in the deluxe room, this room was fantastic value for money and in a great location, added bonus was this hotel was dog friendly, so for an extra £10 the whole family could go. I’ve stayed in many places in Blackpool and this by far beats the rest, it’s in a perfect location from the front, literally straight opposite the winter gardens, 2 minutes walk to houndhill shopping centre! Room was clean and had everything you needed, even a little kitchen with an oven kettle microwave. staff were friendly and polite and great with the kids, they offered breakfast on a morning which consisted of cereals, toast etc, you could either sit and eat it there or you could grab and go! We’d 100% stay here again!

Steps on the deluxe suite outside got really slippy when wet

Great location, it's behind the shopping centre and is easy to find. The staff were lovely and helpful, my room as you can see in the photos was so clean and tidy, I didn't stay for breakfast but they seemed to have a lot of choices. The whole place is clean and inviting, I'm sadly going to have to add a bit of what I didn't like but I think honesty is the best policy, so here goes ...

The mattress was terrible, I'm sorry but I couldn't not say as it's a shame it let's the whole room down.

The breakfast option offered was the main reasons we chose this hotel, due to my wife's allergy to eggs (in any form, even airborne particles). As there is no full English breakfast at this hotel we felt confident booking here. And she actually experienced NO problems with her allergy for the first time in five visits to Blackpool. EXCELLENT! And speaking for myself, I'm not a big fan of the full English breakfast either... So the (cold) continental breakfast suits us perfectly. We were given the "library room" which has windows onto the back yard of the building. We found the room exactly as in the pictures, so no surprises awaited us. The bed was very comfortable. And having a kettle in the room is of course a plus. The bathroom is a bit narrow but also has a window which we could keep open all night and thereby cool down the bedroom, which was a bit warm for us from northern Europe. I liked the size of the shower cabine, where I didn't feel claustrophobic (as in my earlier experiences from BP hotels). The stairs are narrow. The walls are thin, just like in all other 19th century properties converted to hotels in this area. So if you are unlucky this could disturb your night sleep. However, we had NO such problems, it was quiet the whole time we were there. The owners are friendly and very helpful. We arrived outside check-in hours but were helped via cell phone pictures with how to access the key. (Firstly, I should have checked in my inbox of course, where I later found an email with that info.) To sum up, we had a nice, central and good value 3 night stay here. Next year we will definitely book this hotel again.

Of course, for double or tripple price you may get more luxury, but NOT at this price level.

We arrived at the hotel around 3, and it was very straight forward, we were greeted by our lovely lady hostess (forgive me ive forgotten her name) she took us to our room, showed us where everything was and made sure the girls took a look in what was their room, they seemed pretty pleased about it. The room was perfectly adequate for me and my children. The kids' bedroom was a nice touch with the london bus bed. The supersized bed was comfortable enough. The room was very cosy and a nice warm temperature throughout. The staff were fantastic and always made sure we ate before we left, even tho I have very fussy children, there was something for each of them. Plenty of fruit, croissants, toast, cereal, mini cheese (that made one child extremely happy) juice, condiments and tea and coffee options. This has been the nicest reasonably priced bed and breakfast I've ever stayed in, in blackpool. I'd definitely stay here again.

Water taps are loud and can be heard when used in the next room. Not that it was an issue for me. I was pleased with the water pressure. Shower could do with a little TLC, but that's just cosmetic and didn't stop it from doing its main purpose.

We booked one night in the apartment. This was a good size and being at the back of the building gou had your own private area which waa good as we had our dog with us. We decided to book a 2nd night but the apartment was unavailable so we were booked into the business suite. This was a nice clean room however was just too small for me, my partner and the dog as it was a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. This waa no fault of the staffs who were very acommodating. Both bookings were 100% value for money. We booked directly with the hotel for our 2nd night and they gave us a discount.

Nothing, dislikes were personal preference and not any fault of the staff

The room was very spacious and warm with a comfy bed and plenty of storage space. The staff were fantastic and engaging. If you needed anything, nothing was too much trouble for them. The location was superb, especially if you want the centre of town, 2 mins walk and your in the shopping centre, 5 mins walk and your on the promenade.... fantastic all-around!! We arrived later than there alloted check-in time, but they have key boxes on the outside wall, in which they placed our key card and gave us our unique number, allowing us entry with having to wait etc ... very nice touch indeed. We will definitely be coming back

I loved the help ya self buffet in reception . It helped keep costs down of u trip. The staff was lovely. The location was perfect for the Oprah house and under a ten min walk to the sea front. The city center and shopping mall was just at the end of the road. The pleasure beach was also a walkable distance. The bed was comfy and everything was clean.

Some of the other guests was a bit noisy into the night. And I personally would have loved a fan in the room, but that's because it was a heat wave when I went

Breakfast was basic however more than enough to satisfy the children before heading to the local shops,cafes and restaurants to eat. The room was beautiful but the star of the whole stay was Valerie, Valerie was an angel no job was to big for her, she made everyone feel comfortable and able to ask any questions and despite Valerie stating her English wasn't good communicated really well ensuring we had all we needed. I have never seen a women work so hard to please her guests even helping carrying the bags to the room to alow me to focus on the safety of my SEN son and his brother. Superb.

The parking, although it can't be helped due to location we had to pay £33 for 3 days of parking which we didn't take fully into account while budgeting however this is absolutely no fault of the hotel, just feel it needs clearly stated on advertisement.

I contacted the property a few days before staying if i could get a room on the ground floor and they gave me room number 1 at the back. It was really comfortable great location for everything, it was really nice of them to allow me to check in early as i contacted them to say i would be arriving after 1pm and they said it was fine. I like to say that the receptionist was really friendly and helpful as anytime i needed fresh towels she got them for me and asked if i needed anything else. I've stayed at the property before as it's value for money which was the reason that i came back. If you're looking for a cosy place I'd recommend it and it's quiet.

Nothing that i didn't like but I'd suggest if they could recyclable cups/glasses which would be ideal for rinsing your mouth out after brushing your teeth.

Location was super, just next to the block containing the Tower and a stones throw from a shopping centre. Parking opposite the hotel was free overnight and we moved to the shopping centre car park for the day leaving us free to explore. We ran late for check in but the staff couldn't have been more helpful sending screenshots of key safes and codes to allow us to check in well past normal hours, I didn't see these as I was driving so we rang the bell and woke her up but she was gracious and got us settled. Rooms were spotless and well set up.

Corridors seem to be used as storage areas.
