Really comfortable double bed room for solo travel. Great people Lisa and Mark, so friendly and understanding of my health conditions. So good with food requirements, breakfast was brilliant! Lots of tea and coffee replenish for room. Great staff to chat with in lounge bar area. Good area as slightly away from centre but walkable for coach station.

Heatwave as temperature for room got really warm but advised from Lisa to draw the curtains as west facing window for sun and did that and it was okay

- I have never met a more friendlier host. She was so nice and accommodating. - Brilliant size family room - Good variety of breakfast as a vegetarian and having two kids. - Very fairly priced - Booked on the day and was short noticed but host was professional and still able to cater for me and two children. - Close to amenities (Morrisons corner shop, fish and chips etc)

- Distance walking from Blackpool attractions (however, was very quiet on a Saturday night despite football match, Illuminations and comedy show at Winter gardens) - not en-suite bathroom and shared (however, it was very clean on arrival)

The lady was so welcoming and great with our children the room was perfect for what we needed the children loved the bunk bed and we paid extra to have to en-suite which was much more convenient for us. Location was great not far from the beach of the main sea front. Would definitely come back and recommend. We did book For 3 nights but did only stay 2 as we did everything we wanted to do and with our son been autistic it was just a struggle towards the end the host was so understanding of this but very happy with our stay!

The stay at the Franklyn Hotel was just great. Lisa and Mark were wonderful hosts. Nothing was to much trouble. We used a family room and it was spot on"The London Room". The beds were probably the most comfortable we have experienced and the double bed was bliss super comfy. Each morning we had full breakfasts. I have some dietary needs and Lisa got Mark on the case to get me wheat and gluten free bread for my toast. 5⭐ for that. We sat at the bar one evening and had a wonderful chat with our hosts. Really down to earth people who are so warm and welcoming. We will definitely be telling family and friends about this little treasure in Blackpool. A big bonus also a stones throw from the main strip without the noise. Will most definitely be back in the future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Very responsive to messages before our stay. Property was clean, tidy, and warm. Bar area was comfortable. Room was a good size. Breakfast was lovely. Good selection of drinks available and tea, coffee and biscuits also in the room.

Bunk beds were creaky and our kid is wriggly so we did get woken up a few times. Only one parking space so be prepared to pay for parking (we paid £12 for 24 hours).

Our stay at the Franklyn hotel was amazing, Lisa went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met and even went out of her way to make a specialty breakfast for my daughter who wasn’t feeling too well on our stay. The hotel was very well managed and spotless! Would 100% stay again and have certainly found our go to hotel for in the future🥰

Lisa was welcoming and friendly from the minute we arrived, even helping us up the stairs with our cases. The room was beautifully decorated and was clean and homely and in a great location for myself and my family - literally a 10 minute walk to the promenade and close to shops. We had a great stay and would definitely book to stay again. Thank you for a great stay 🙂

Fantastic location, right next to the tower and main attractions which is great when travelling with children. Very welcoming hostess. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Perfect for a weekend away.

Parking is a bit of a pain. Room didn't have a hairdryer so make sure you ask for one when you check in. Bunk beds could probably do with a tighten up

What an absolutely lovely place to stay! Comfortable beds, lovely hot shower, close to all of the main attractions in Blackpool, easy to walk to from the train station etc. I also thought the room was very well decorated. I was so grateful that the hosts let me stay downstairs in the lounge area after check-out to wait for my train. Would highly recommend this establishment to anyone visiting Blackpool. Was also super quiet and super clean!

My only observation was that the ensuite bathroom was a little small however it didn't bother me so much as a single traveler. I didn't really consider it to be a huge issue though.

The host was very good and could not do enough for us .made a brilliant breakfast excellent value for the price of the 2 days we were there .

The room was very hot. But to be fair, it was a very hot couple of days. Shower a bit poor low pressure, but it did the job .
