The hotel is a very pleasant building in great surroundings, with its own 'gardenpark', a bit far away from the city (Bracknell) centre, but with a car 10 minutes, with the bus 20 minutes. The hotel got a swimming pool, but again I haven't been able to use it, hopefully next time. The room is spacey, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. And, important, with windows that can be opened. Checking in is easy, fast and friendly, and Hiltonwise, with a warm cookie.

The restaurant and bar are very basic, almost without any atmosphere, this could absolutely be improved, the food however is fine, and bar tenders are nice. What I don't like is the shower in the bathroom: the shower partition is absolutely insufficient, showering can be a cold affair because of that, also water pressure is just enough.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a good experience. Warm and welcoming member of staff to greet us who went out of their way to help arrange taxis (thank you). The room was fantastic. Everything we could possibly need. The bed was the most comfortable bed we've experienced at a hotel. We slept so well. The ensuite was luxurious. Great shower!! The buffet breakfast was really good. Lots of choice. You could ask for an omelette if you didn't want what was available. Great location and so easy to get to the M4. We had a great stay! We didn't use the spa facilities as were attending a wedding but they looked incredible.

Not that I didn't like but the room was dark, lighting wasn't sufficient, especially when applying make-up for a wedding.

The room, reception staff, views of the grounds and location itself were lovely. On arrival, we were presented with a delicious treat and little goody bag for the kids which absolutely set our stay off to a great start. Would definitely recommend.

Person on the bar was rude and lacked a sense of customer service. I asked for two drinks of the same and he produced one, saying, I've only got one. When I asked if he could possibly check for another bottle, he sighed as though it was a huge chore, walked off without saying a word, producing another bottle. I tried to lighten the mood by saying "hmm seems likes you've a long day ey?" he scoffed and said "no, it's been alright actually". So abosultey no reason for the impatience and misery he displayed then!?

Really nice staff - all very pleasant and helpful. Public areas are well laid out and comfortable. Room was good, clean and the bed was comfortable. I had two very enjoyable meals in the bar on both the evenings I was staying. Prompt friendly service and good food.

I thought the breakfast was mediocre. Plenty of choice - I had fried eggs and bacon with toast for breakfast. The bacon was very tough and the eggs had formed a coating so were chewy and hard. I guess this is the risk with mass catering and open buffet. The next day I decided not to bother with breakfast in the hotel and I picked up a costa coffee en route to the office as this was preferable. Please note however I didn't try the other food and that might have been better. The hotel is large and it was quite a walk to my room whilst dragging a suitcase, and two work bags. Assistance would have been helpful.

Excellent staff and very accommodating. We arrived pre check in and were offered use of all the facilities until rooms were available. Rooms were good size and comfortable and pool was nice size.

Facilities were not fully available as advertised due to staff non attendance which chimes with a common theme of hard working but under resources staff. This also affected breakfast service with long waits for the buffet to be refilled once items were unavailable.

The staff were amazing. Really good customer service, from checking in and dealing with reception, to the gym staff and the staff in the restaurant/bar area were so helpful and friendly. The cleaning was done swiftly and well. I liked the ability to use the pool and facilities with no extra cost, also the fact the pool was split for family fun and also lane swimming. The very good gym facility and also the towels available for use in the pool.

There was a damp feeling in our room. The carpet felt damp..

Clean room and bedding. Helpful staff overall pleased and would book again. We both take medication so the bottle of water each was more than welcome especially replaced following day.

Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Neither of us slept well. We have super king bed at home with pillow top, the bed was actually so hard my thigh felt bruised. After walking to our room on second evening to sleep our room cards would not work. All the way back to reception to get it sorted.

The room was very comfortable and bathroom lovely. I had asked when booking to have a room near the lift but was given Room 137 which is quite a walk to Omnia and Reception area. But my husband had unpacked whilst l was sitting in reception area and I couldn't then bear another walk to an alternative room. I have torn ligaments in left knee and cannot put any weight on left leg.

Distance of room from facilities and toilet roll are only negative issued. Toilet paper lets the lovely bathroom as it's cheap quality.

Location was perfect for our family stay. The hotel is tucked well back from the road in some quite stunning grounds. Parking was excellent. The reception staff were very welcoming and were clearly happy to meet our pet.

For me personally - I was under the impression that with a pet friendly room, it was possible to go out into the grounds directly from the room! This was not the case as we had to walk her through the corridors to get access. Maybe my mis-understanding but perhaps make this clearer? Some pets, when they need to go out, it's fairly urgent? Although, as it turned out - was no problem for us.
