We received a warm welcome from the lovely Ruth who showed us to our room via the gorgeous surroundings. Very clean room with everything we needed. I have to mention the coffee bags which were really good too. Oh and the wildlife, we watched the kingfisher every morning along with the squirrels and various other birds and even had a heron swoop in and out. Beautiful!

For us the bed was a little too firm, however we appreciate that everyone is different in this regard.

The atmosphere is amazing. The hotel was almost empty the evenings. It's so peaceful so lovely. I would go back definitely!

The SPA facilities wasn't great to be honest, but the atmosphere is amazing in the hotel so I cannot complain much. If your aim is to have an amazing SPA experience I don't believe this is the place (although I don't have much experience on SPA in the UK). But if you need to slow down have a few days of silence and being away of everything with some spa experience, then this is the place!

I enjoyed the breakfast I received, it was a really nice touch having a breakfast basket delivered. It was also incredibly quiet, the facilities were really lovely and the whole chalet was kept to a high standard, really well worth the stay for peace of mind and comfort.

It might be worth mentioning about access, it was a little difficult getting my suitcase down to the end of the garden on the gravel, but really nobodies fault except mine for bringing a large suitcase!

Perfect location and environs. A fruit alternative for dessert at lunch would have helped us. The room was more basic than I would have thought but perfectly comfortable and sleep was beautifully restful. The view of the fields from the full sized windows was a living picture!

A lotion from the spa would have been nice to have in the room along with the washing products. The water from the kettle was not boiling temp I think.

From our room, we had a fantastic view of a field, in the morning, we only found Cows grazing outside, for a whimsical awakening. The size was larger than most, if not all, other hotel rooms I've stayed in. The shower uses a dispenser system instead of a couple of dinky little packets of Shampoo and conditioner. The Wi-fi was even better than any hotel I've used previously, in stability and speed. The provided breakfast was very nice, of a Croissant with Butter and Jam, Granola with Oat milk and a bottle of Orange juice.

One of the dispensers fell off the wall while the shower was in use, we told the Staff ASAP, but it should still be usable for the next person that stays, just be careful. To lock the door, make sure you're holding the handle up while turning the key.

Beautiful view from the room, lovely breakfast hamper (crossaints and granola, fresh orange juice) peaceful location, great price for a getaway from the hustle and bustle. Gardens are peaceful other than nature sounds which is exactly what you need on a get away retreat, Easy to locate and just enjoy the privacy! Provided with fresh towels and a tea/coffee station in the room. Beautiful to chill in the gardens and wake up to a peaceful view

Small damp in the room and blinds very hard to open and shut, bigger cups for coffee machine needed (very small improvements) Prices I would say for spa access as a guest was quite high so we didn't get to use the facilities

Quiet location, lovely garden setting, well equipped in all rooms.

The breakfast was tasty but not as extensive as the pictures advertised. It was also not delivered until 9am, which was rather late for us. The pillows were flat and not very comfortable.

It's lovely. Beautiful scenery, quiet location, tons of bunnies in the nearby field you can watch. The staff is friendly and helpful. I had two big bottles of water in my room, and they refilled one no problem. That's such a great touch.

I didn't realize you get breakfast with your stay. On their own website it says that it's not included, but I got a basket on my last morning there and realized I had left the previous one outside untouched, so it was wasted.

We didn't stay at the location all day due to us having a wedding but it was nice to know we had somewhere close to come back to which we didn't have to travel far to and be comfortable.

Spiders covered the whole outside of the room at night. Can't be helped but besides that, nothing else to report.

Very nicely fitted room and comfortable bed in a super quiet location. Plenty of parking

Very dark at night trying to get around . No tv is a challenge and breakfast on the second morning (Sunday) was poor
