Everything, particularly the terrace and the views across the oyster beds to the Isle of Sheppey, left the shutters open all night for the coastal lights….magic!
Noisy renovation work on hut next door. Finished at end of working day. We accept that these things have to happen but, after a very long drive, it prevented complete relaxation on arrival.

Very clean all over and comfortable beds. Good kettle and selection of tea coffee etc.
One small sofa, but 3 of us staying. Perhaps table & chairs would be better for more seating. The sign for hut 14 is not clearly visible when driving past, I missed it a few times. Then the parking space for hut 14 is not nearby. If you have lots of stuff with you, you will have to block the road and walk through a narrow allyway or carry it quite a way along the beachfront and go down steep steps to get there. All doable just tricky & would’ve been good to know beforehand.

We stayed in hut 14 one bedroom was lovely overlooking the sea and with a balcony, perfect position. The inside was so clean and cosy and there were two bedrooms upstairs and a small living area downstairs with sink and facilities such as tea, coffee and kettle.
I wouldn’t recommend to someone that has mobility issues as there are two tight stairs to climb and getting the cases to the hut from the car park was quite a way. Also it could do with a toaster.

Love Whitstable Oyster Company’s restaurant 2 minutes walk away so it’s a special gourmet experience to stay in an oyster man’s hut and walk past the oyster beds off the beach to eat the freshest possible oysters and seafood for dinner in the Royal Oyster Stores. Definitely a characterful spot.
Uncomfortable bed and didn’t feel particularly clean. With check-in and management half a mile away at The Continental Hotel, feels like quality control is a bit too remote. Sea view has its drawbacks as anyone walking on the path in front looks straight into your bedroom.

Staff very welcoming and polite. The fisherman’s huts are finished to a good standard. They are all different in terms of layout. We were in Hut 3. Good space and layout. The children loved their room. 2 bathrooms very helpful.
There was no sink or fresh water on tap in the kitchenette. Needed for filling up the kettle, doing the washing up and drinking water - granted there were 2 water cans in the fridge. Putting in a sink would make a significant difference to the overall experience.

The location of this property is excellent, right on the beach front with private parking. The hut is so secure you feel safe when you arrive. You are provided with deck chairs so you can watch the sunset and enjoy the views! You are also provided with tea, coffee, waters, orange and apple juice. The hut was extremely clean, fresh towels and toiletries provided. WiFi on the beach is also a key feature! Everyone who walks past looks at you in awe. Would highly recommend, best Accomadtion in Whitstable in my opinion as such an ideal/ central location.
There was nothing to not like. It was excellent in every aspect. Would highly recommend.

Location overlooking the harbour is stunning from the balcony, a real suntrap and sunset is picture perfect. Easy to check in and clear instructions to locate parking and hut. Clean and tidy, Close to high street and central harbour area for restaurants within walking distance. Brilliant location as a base for days out and enjoying the local cuisine.
Hut 14 is a bit further down from the parking area than the other huts, so be aware, but beautifully situated. If you are 4 adults, there is no suitable indoor seating as only 1 sofa in the kitchenette area.

LOVED the location and the views Really comfortable and clean- can get quite hot on a sunny day. Beautiful white, clear space - sympathetically decorated Parking space was really useful Be aware that it is right on the sea wall so you will hear passers by from 8:30 am onwards, plus people enjoying the waterfront into the late evening. It's right next to brilliant restaurants and pubs
Check out 11am - with a 3pm check in, less than 24hrs for one night made it feel really expensive, and hard to manage for late risers. Lock box would have been great so not to have gone to the hotel twice with the key, again a bit of a pain for one night. I'd not checked which I could have done, but the kitchenette didn't have a stove, only a microwave.

Charming alternative to a hotel! It was surprisingly quiet and comfy. Gorgeous views from Hut 6.
Our hut wasn’t cleaned during our stay. The cleaners said they couldn’t get in and yes, the door is stiff, but we found that out on the first day. If we found that out immediately, they must know this and the trick to open it. It felt like an excuse not to clean it. The neighbouring hut also commented that theirs wasn’t cleaned during their stay either. Parking is also quite tricky, depending on your space.

Proximity to the beach and local attractions. Sea views and the sounds of the wind tinkling through the boat masts at night. Decent size shower room including soaps and good quality towels. Comfortable beds with cotton sheets and pillows that were neither too soggy or too firm. Thoughtful inclusion of a couple of deck chairs. Like the mini fridge too, very handy.
Just a small niggle - our designated car parking space was cramped to the point we couldn't open the driver's door. Purely a case of neighbouring vehicles parking too far over. Extra wide bodied atv owners beware.
