This is the 2nd time I have stayed at the Langtry Hotel, it is in a fantastic location. I love the welcoming, friendly staff. Simon was very accommodating. He explained everything clearly and was on hand to assist. The rooms were immaculate and bright. They had great facilities included. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return next year. Thank you to the staff at Langtry Hotel.

During my stay, I struggled to pick up Mobile phone reception or the hotel Wifi signal. But this wasn't a major problem and didn't spoil the stay. 😄😄Those pesky seagulls kept me awake from 4.30 am. Landing on the roof, dropping stones which rolled down the tiles. At least that's what I imagined that terrible, constant rattling noise to be😂😂. Again, this will not deter me from returning to Langtry Hotel.

My room was neat

When I entered there , I made a mistake of putting my bags along the stairs, The gentleman serving me 1.Looked, shouted at me for placing my bags in this area, instead of talking to me well, he appeared very angry, his look made me uncomfortable, he showed HATRED, his look to me was very very bad, that I left hotel and could not sleep there, I reported to the YOUNG GENTLEMAN, that I was leaving to another hotel, the other man serving me was very kind that I even asked for REFUND and it was not refundable. Excellent location. Very reasonably priced. Bed was comfy and had all the facilities you come to expect from the major chains, except this hotel is a third of the price. When I saw the term 'budget' I thought it would be very basic and a bit threadbare, but it wasn't. It had en suite, lots of towels, shower with body wash, tv worked well, good tea and coffee making facility and had a fresh smell of cleanliness about the room. Highly recommended.

Lovely location really great value for money very clean would stay again

Not your fault that there is a karaoke bar in the road behind where I was trying to sleep so really didn't get much sleep at all for the 2 nights I stayed. also maybe you could provide a mini fridge just so guests could have cold drinks and to keep. Milk if you wanted to have cereal as your bar and lounge is being refurbished

Recently stayed here in room 21 with my partner and felt the need to leave a review as we really did enjoy our stay the manager from day 1 was very welcoming and nice to us and Alison the lady that does breakfasts is a real upbeat nice person and goes out her way to get to know the guests which forms a nice bond when your greeted every morning by her smile and your name which for me was a huge plus note for anyone staying here i would highly recommend the breakfast as it is amazing and blows weatherspoons which is close by out the water and is much better value for money nice thick bacon not your thin stuff and proper sausages and it was also very nice to have a selection of cakes fruit juices cereals yogurts etc and again a big thank you to Alison for going that extra mile. I would also like to personally thank the manager for 1 particular thing that stood out for us and this may be something so simple however had a huge impact and that was simply a bottle of water that he provided for us 1 evening when coming home i was more than happy to pay for a nice cold bottle of water and when i asked if he had any he said yes of course no problem took me to the lounge bar which is also at the property which is a really chilled place and gave me two bottles of ice cold water and said no no its no problem and handed us them which was really nice of him. Location is superb your on the doorstep of the pier however dont be put off by this its just far enough away to not be kept up all night with the ride sounds etc its a perfect distance. We travel regularly to Clacton and have stayed at many hotels and this is by far our favourite stay and we will 100% be coming back for Alison's breakfast and the welcoming of the manager i just wish we got his name 10/10 all areas. The fact we had to come home back to reality :(

Although the room was a little compact, it was well set out, very clean and had everything that was needed including a good amount of storage. The bed was comfortable and the towels were lovely. The en suite was a little small and bit tired, but for what we paid it was very good value and I would stay again and recommend it to others.

Nothing really. It would have been nice to have had a working kitchen to be able to have breakfast there, but it was being refurbished which wasn't a problem as it is so close (walking distance) to the town centre so easy to eat elsewhere.

The friendly staff helpful and cheerful. Very good location only a few minutes walk to to beach and pier. Parking space saved for us when we arrived. Considering this is a budget hotel we got a lovely comfortable room with everything you need for your stay. Would definitely stay again when visiting Clacton fantastic atmosphere every where we went. We’ve stayed there on and off for the last 5 years whenever we wanted a little bit of a break. Always stayed at this hotel and it has been very good value for money and staff are always very nice and friendly. Place is always clean and tidy and it’s right by the centre of town so can’t ask for better

Nothing bad to say about the Langtry Hotel

Friendly caring staff. Always helpful to help and guide me in the right direction when I needed help. Breakfast always greeted with a friendly smile and always welcoming by Alison also Kacper at front desk who greeted me always there to help. Also another Gentleman at front desk very helpful and caring people. Housekeeper to very good always cleaned and did my room everyday. Top people and Top Hotel. Also it so close to the Piere and walking distance to main attraction. Nice walk also near shop's. Langtry Hotel I will be back .Thank you all for making my 6 day Hoilday the Best .😍😘
