It was very nice, sweet and comfortable. The room was lovely. It was located in a good spot. Within walking distance of things, which was nice. Parking was available and there was no charge, which was nice.

There was a lot of things we like.. wasn’t any issue’s. The only thing I would say is with the heating be on all the time at times it did get a bit hot. We tried to open the windows but for some reason we could not open them. My partner seems to think they are broken and need to be looked at. Other than that it was perfect.

Very clean, very comfortable, friendly staff. Very family friendly atmosphere but also quite enough to use for a business trip. There were quite a few small children including babies when we were there but you wouldn't have known it, never heard a peep. Everyone including guests seemed really chilled, which was probably down to the fact the hotel was so comfortable.

You are right in the heart of a busy seaside town, so expect some outside noise from the nearby pier/funfair and other nightlife... I personally wasn't bothered by this, but I know it isn't for everyone.

This property was ideally located just meters away from the sea front and pier. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was great value for money and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The only issue I had was it got quite cold at night even though the radiator was on but the next day when I mentioned it I was provided with an electric heater. This made the rest of the stay perfectly warm and snug.

Had an amazing stay at this beachfront hotel! The location was unbeatable, with stunning ocean views just steps from the sand. To top it off, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade, making our stay even more special. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. 🌊

Location was great ,things were clean and fresh...

Room was small, no hooks for our towels to dry,no draws to put things in and only a couple of hangers, mattress very uncomfortable, poorly layed out room, head against the radiator with a gap the other side .

Booked two single rooms for one night, on arrival we were given upgrades to two double rooms to save my elderly mother climbing two flights of stairs which was very kind and much appreciated. Very comfortable beds, we had a lovely stay, thank you.

Love that the hotel is right outside the beach and the clacton pier, pavillion fun park and many restaurants, banks and shops like, newlook, peacock etc. Loved how welcoming the staffs are from Becky to Michelle and nicola. They are on hand if you needed assistance with anything. Michelle, thanks for lovely breakfast. She made sure your needs at breakfast are catered for. Thanks for making my 5 year old enjoy her breakfast and the extras you provided for her. It really made her day. Now she calls pier hotel her 2nd home lol. All in all, we had good time staying at pier hotel. A little something to mention, if you book via booking. Com, breakfast isn't included but if you book directly to the hotel, your breakfast will be included. However you can still pay for your breakfast for the duration of your stay for just fiver for a full English breakfast. How fabulous is that. Car parking at the hotel is a little of a problem but we were fortunate to have found one at hotel grounds. However I think there are car parks for paying around the area.

Didn't like the birds( seagulls) waking me up so early in the morning. Lol.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming, easy check-In, we were personally shown to our room. Very clean room, complimentary shower gel and tea/coffee facilities - nice comfortable beds.

I have nothing negative to say.

Room was fantastic, bed was really comfy, very central location. Staff really friendly and they do a lovely latte, very reasonably priced.

Not the Hotels fault, but loud noise at night from nearby nightclub and kareoke bar across the road, to be fair we did stay on a Saturday night so probably not an issue on other nights. Not being able to park on site, however public parking nearby.

Friendly member of staff at (only one) the hotel, she was serving at the bar, making breakfast, greeting guests and allocating keys etc.. room was adorable and very clean with plenty of fresh towels and toiletries

All rooms are up a set of stairs. So not good if you are disabled Restricted parking
