The ladies from the time we walked in until we left could not be more friendly and helpful. The beds were the cleanest beds i have stayed in, and we stay at some lovely hotels across the world. The location is fantastic, but be aware that BDC advertises parking at the hotel, but there is no direct parking on the hotel site, but you can park on the street outside the hotel, and there are cheap public car parks near by. The hotel is across the road from the pier and 5 minutes walk to Clacton town centre. The team are lovely, and the hotel rooms are all individual Will definitely stay here again, great value for money Thank yiu for a lovely stay

Your advertisement states there’s a hotel car park and off street parking but there’s no hotel car park it’s just 1 car space ? So with that inconvenience we had to wait till the parking permit time was up so we could leave car in side street as we didn’t want to risk off getting a ticket.! Even the member of staff said that you need to update your advertisement and remove the fact of the non existent car park (SEE PHOTOS)

It was very nice, sweet and comfortable. The room was lovely. It was located in a good spot. Within walking distance of things, which was nice. Parking was available and there was no charge, which was nice.

There was a lot of things we like.. wasn’t any issue’s. The only thing I would say is with the heating be on all the time at times it did get a bit hot. We tried to open the windows but for some reason we could not open them. My partner seems to think they are broken and need to be looked at. Other than that it was perfect.

Very good location, right by the sea, you can find places to eat everywhere around. I really liked the hotel. The rooms are bright, cozy, everything is neat and clean. Enough space to put things. No problems with water in the toilet and shower. Very friendly staff. You want to come back when the staff greets you in a friendly manner, tries to help and advise. I definitely recommend OYO Pier Hotel.

The staff, modern clean fresh vibe. We had our room upgraded as we had a baby to ground floor with a private garden for free. I was unwell so they let us keep room till 4pm. Brilliant location. Walkable to shops, pier, everything xx we definitely will book again. Special mention to Becky .. member of staff/manager was clearly running it ..

I liked everything, the friendliness of the staff, their help. There were no problems. The room was neat, clean, bright, cozy. No problems with the shower and toilet. Enough space to store things. Comfortable beds. The hotel itself is very cozy, I really liked the built-in mirrors. And most importantly, the fresh sea is nearby. Thank you, thank you to the staff.

The lady from the reception was great and very helpful.We had a problem with the reservation ,but she sorted out and gave us a better room.The location is right near the beach near the Pier.Restaurants arround and even a Karaoke bar across the street.I am really pleased to review the location as very nice clean and reliable in case of trouble.

Lovely small hotel, spotlessly clean, room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Nice touch to have a radox shower gel in there. Tea and coffee facilities. The sheets were so clean and smelt wonderful. Literally on the seafront and opposite the pier. Staff were very very friendly and helpful.

Very clean, very comfortable, friendly staff. Very family friendly atmosphere but also quite enough to use for a business trip. There were quite a few small children including babies when we were there but you wouldn't have known it, never heard a peep. Everyone including guests seemed really chilled, which was probably down to the fact the hotel was so comfortable.

You are right in the heart of a busy seaside town, so expect some outside noise from the nearby pier/funfair and other nightlife... I personally wasn't bothered by this, but I know it isn't for everyone.

The room was bright and airy, extremely clean and comfortable. The manager, Becky, was very warm and welcoming and greeted me in a professional manner, and overall, my stay was very relaxing!
