We had the largest room which was set in the old stables. It was surprising to have the amount of space with a bathroom/bath/shower. Everything was clean and tidy and we couldn't get over that we paid just over £50 for 2 adults and 2 children for 1 night!! Premier inn wanted at least twice that!! I would Def recommend this place and have already! Staff were all lovely and asked us how our day was...

It is next to a road, where we heard a few motorbikes and loud cars, but it soon went quiet after midnight and our kids slept through it anyways.

Rooms were only 4 weeks new as been renovated and nice and fresh! We traveled with 2 kids and hotel took care about them too with kids beds. We loved beer garden where kids could play and we went for a nice walk along river. So close to airport too so really convenient as were catching early flight next morning. Highly recommend to everyone!

We also had a meal at restaurant which was good but we have ordered extra bowl with chips which never came and service in evening was taking a bit too long. And when we went to pay chips were added to our bill lol lady took it of and we got 20% off as we're stayed in hotel. So bonus really

Lovely place, great location for what we needed. Very Clean, spacious and comfortable room. The lovely gentleman who checked us in (and served breakfast the following morning) was extremely welcoming and helpful as we're the bar/breakfast staff.

The lady who we assumed to be the manager, was rude, ignorant and whilst checking out she reprimanded a member off staff in front of us, the issue was not at all related to our stay but it didn't seem to matter. We were stood waiting, just a couple of feet away (and in clear view) whilst she laid into the poor girl. Following which she continued to ignore us and carried on with something on the computer. Extremely unprofessional and embarrassing for all concerned.

The location is super. The room was very nice, although the bed settee a bit uncomfortable to use as a settee during the day. The restaurant provided very good meals. Parking was good as my husband is disabled but we were able to park next to outer doors and access our room without going through the pub.

A fridge would have been a good idea. We were right next to the car park, which was a bit noisy with customers entering and leaving the pub but the pub didn't keep late hours, so it was OK.

The staff were fabulous x attentive without being intrusive. The room we stayed in Room 2 on the ground floor was absolutely beautiful, a converted stable, retaining many stunning features, tastefully updated , merging contempary with modern convenience. The bathroom was elegant and spotlessly clean, with high end toiletries. The restaurant and bar situated in a beautifully restored coaching inn offered an extensive drinks menu and a fabulous choice of dishes catering for all. The car park also had an electric charging point. A bonus for electric vehicle owners.

We loved absolutely everything.

Good location to Donnington Park race circuit where I was working, big car park to park, on arrival the staff where welcoming, friendly and helpful, restaurant and bar looked great but didn’t eat there, room was big size very comfortable bed got a good nights sleep, had tea and coffee making facilities, bathroom was nice and clean with a great shower, everything was fairly clean and tidy would stay again.

Carpet looked a bit old with some stains on it, and the couch had some stains on it, the room could do with a little refreshment to the decorations as there was damp coming through the walls plaster coming off and some plaster work not painted

Lovely refurbished room, upgraded for my second trip with a sofa, lovely large room, warm, comfy king bed. Only had one meal with Friends but was nice. Hopefully back again in December.

Only one mishap, checked in on line on there new system, arrived at 14.00 as messaged, following morning having my cup of tea, door opened and asked, who are you! Don't know who was more surprised. Obviously new checking in system had a blip. Manager apologised following day as it turned out it was her who opened the door.

Owner very helpful, Check in was great, room was very good, no complaints about the B&B at all. The road which the B&B is on is a fairly busy road, and had a steady strem of traffic all through the night, not particularly an issue for us, however be aware of you have a road facing room, it may be noisy, also the Restaraunt Car Park was under our Window, so expect some noise as the guests turn out.

Lovely Electric Fan in the Room, however it was so minging with dust that it was tota;;y innefective. Dismantled it and cleaned it, which clearly hadn't happened in a long time, and it was OK. Dont know if the walls were thin, however the person in the room next door obviously came away for a weekends TV, and felt the need to share it with everyone else. (In no way is this the fault of the Host).

Absolutely beautiful pub & restaurant, staff are so friendly! The lady on the evening shift Thursday night was so helpful, I wanted to take a bottle of water back to the room but it was after the bar has closed and instead of just saying no, she gave us 2 bottles and left a note out for us to pay for them in the morning with breakfast, the morning waitress was so lovely too, I'm a fussy eater and there was no objection to changing my breakfast order ( changed some things from the set menu) could not fault the staff at all. The restaurant itself is really clean and tidy and very comfortable. The room was okay, it needs some updating but the building is old and they have kept the original windows which is a lovely touch. Wouldn't knock down the review down because of that, im a very fussy traveller and everything met my needs! Thank you too all the lovely ladies that served us including the check in/out girls. Will defo stay again next time we are up that way!

The accommodation & staff were very friendly & the location of the Marston Inn was excellent for what we were there for which was the World Superbike race weekend at Donnington. Unfortunately, as the breakfast at the weekend does not start until 8am & the evening dining finished at 9pm, we were not able to get to breakfast, but we did manage to get to eat in the evening on the Sunday & all the restaurant staff were very friendly even though they appeared to be having a very trying time with some of what we would call “difficult” diners and we would like to give a special “shout out” to the young lad called Aaron.

Bar staff could have been a little bit more friendly, as serving seemed to be a bit of a bind for them especially if you paid with cash.
