I llove the position of the Boot in historical Repton. I love the outside garden to sit and have a drink or meal. The outside rooms are very stylish and comfortable and the super king bed was an added delight. The meals are superb and the staff very friendly and helpful. A popular pub with lots of character.
After giving the Boot a glowing report I feel bad to say I was disappointed with the shower which had poor water pressure. I managed ok and maybe it was the time of day or a one off.

We stayed in room six, which was of fair size, complete with bath, loo etc. The room was nicely decorated. Breakfast was good. We didn’t eat dinner but had done so on a previous stay; the food is good.
1. The bathroom was only heated by a small towel rail. It had been turned off prior to our departure and the bathroom was cold. Even when turned on the bathroom never went beyond “warm”. It needs a bigger radiator. 2. Clearly my fault, but breakfast was not included in our room rate, which I didn’t appreciate until I checked out.

My stay at The Boot Inn was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment i arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The property itself is charming and beautifully maintained, blending rustic charm with modern amenities. My room was impeccably clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, offering a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the local area. The food at the inn's restaurant was a delightful surprise—fresh, locally sourced ingredients prepared to perfection. The breakfast was especially noteworthy, with a wide variety of options that catered to all tastes. The location is ideal, nestled in a peaceful countryside setting yet conveniently close to local attractions. Overall, my experience at The Boot Inn was outstanding. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay. I can't wait to return!
There was nothing we did not like :)

It was wonderful to see such a well run and vibrant pub. The staff were all excellent. Perfect cocktails, delicious food and attentive service. They were busy on a Thursday evening with guests and locals. The waitress on breakfast service was brilliant. She was incredibly busy but handled it fantastically. The Boot is by far the best pub I’ve been to in years. Thanks for such a fab stay.

Lovely little pub. Great location and was exactly what we needed. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection to choose from. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. The bulls head just down the road is absolutely gorgeous food!! We stayed on a Sunday and didn’t fancy the Sunday dinner at the boot inn so went there instead and I’m so glad we did. Definitely recommend. Thank you!
Parking but it can’t be helped, so not really something we were bothered about.

The property was very comfortable and had a lot of charm—it was the perfect “quintessential” British country pub with a lovely (and lively) bar area. The restaurant was actually much better than typical pub fare, which was a great surprise, and the staff were all very friendly.
Our room was nice and comfortable enough, but definitely could have used some updated furniture. Ironically, the blinds were extremely complicated and we couldn’t ever get the remote to work so that we could close them. Also, the parking situation was less than ideal.

The breakfast was excellent and was good value with it included in the room rate.
Room was a bit hot although a fan was in the room, it was quite noisy. Also had people in an adjacent room playing music past 10pm. Not ideal but I didn't let the hotel know, so not much they could do about it.

The outside garden area was really nice as well as the pub itself. The area is nice and quiet and beautiful buildings. The room was spacious, very comfy bed! Easy parking and very friendly staff. Even though we were above the noisy pub we couldn’t hear a thing in the room.
I paid extra to have a deluxe room but the room we stayed in didn’t look like the pictures so we were a tad confused. Still nice room tho, just a shame it wasn’t the one we thought. Personal preference the food was way too posh for us, wasn’t to our taste at all so didn’t eat there. Tv was small so was hard to watch the football.

Lovely staff. Lovely food. Nice French style room.
It was rather expensive for the night .. although the price of food and drink was very reasonable. On the evening we stayed there was live music on in the pub down stairs till 11pm then we were woken at 7am by staff emptying bottle bins and rolling full kegs around.

The staff were lovely and the room was nicely furnished, comfortable and warm. We would recommend it.
The bathroom sink in this particular room was too small to wash your face in. We have mentioned it to a staff member so hopefully, the fed back will help them improve things.
