The staff were great. Sunday lunch was excellent. Room and bed were very comfortable. Would stay again. The open fire in the bar is lovely. We enjoyed our stay very much

Bathroom was unclean. Rubbish in the bin. Dirty soap dispenser. The staff did offer to do another clean but we were leaving so said to leave it but hope they got it cleaned. The bedroom and bedding however was spotless warm and very comfortable. Evening food was poor but again the staff put it right.

No use of shared kitchen it was locked, no toiletries at all,no bin in either bathroom or bedroom,limited tea and coffee facilities with no mugs only two odd glasses and half a toilet roll we went out to buy tea bags and toilet rolls. I understand they do not open on a Monday but the accomodation was not up to scratch. In their favor the staff are extremley polite and helpfull the carvery was great and the Wake we had was very well managed and excellent. all this I would put down to such good staff. I need to comment on the corners of the bed which I cut my leg on very sharp wood and the mattress did not cover the corners.

Staff working in the pub were very polite, check in was easy and when asked we got the wifi password ( very important when staying with teenage son)!!! We stayed in the family room, it was spacious, clean & comfortable, was perfect for 1 nights stay and great value for money, the shared kitchen & lounge area was a bonus!! ..we will definately stay here again the next time we are in the area as it was close to the town centre.

Booked for my parents to stay for family function, they were happy with the room, location and amenities, ideal room for them on the ground floor as mum is disabled.

They did not advise of anything they didn’t like, however the price could always be lower as they literally used the accomodation for sleeping purposes only.

Nice place to sit in the sun, pizza excellent. Room was OK for a 1 night stay.

Had to ask for toiletries, no spoon, for coffee making facilities. had to get up and move the car early morning for a works vehicle to get out of the car park, even though we asked if we was OK to park in the only space left. No where to leave the room key on departure

Staff were great, manager was helpful and couldn't do enough for you...great job

Only issue was the room was to hot, the bathroom radiator was onall night...opened windows so was ok

Interesting old building with an amazing huge Mill Wheel on display safely behind glass. Staff were so nice and friendly

No availability for breakfast but there was a kitchenette available to use.

Location was perfect.Staff were friendly and very informative. Overall a great place, much better than i expected foe the price, with a self contained bathroom and kitchen with all facilities. 👍👍
