Great location for factory we were visiting. Very welcoming staff (with exception of cleaner in lobby day of departure). Dinner service was good and food was very tasty (although couldn’t have been cooked fresh as was delivered to table so quickly after ordering. That said, it was a bonus after such a long drive!). Room facilities as expected, although booked two x double for sole occupancy and one of the rooms was two singles. No mention of this on arrival but it wasn’t a huge issue. Didn’t get to visit the fitness room as was so tired after journey. Comfortable bed, good nights sleep and good breakfast choice. Thank you. Would definitely stay again.

Except the hotel location is been far from town centre we very much enjoyed our stay. Breakfast - open buffet with plenty of options, have a vegan options but could be more, was well prepared and hygienicly displayed. Stuff very kind, taking good care of us, helpful with our needs and queries. Dinner again delicious paired with good wines. We get %25 complementary discount on Saturday brunch (first day of our visit) again delicious, full of goodies, desserts freshly prepared. I've been offered vegan meatballs after been asked about my food preferences. Again freshly prepared. Nothing to complain about cleanliness, room either. Coffee machine, kettle, teas and coffee, biscuits were all there. TV, air conditioning enough space for clothes. Bed was very comfortable.

My main complaint was about not being close to town centre and seaside. Needed to use taxis and they were quite busy.

Room was upgraded for us to a larger double. It was very clean and fresh, spacious and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable thanks to the topper and appreciate the choice of hard or soft pillows. Good night's sleep. Bathroom was a good size and although I'm no fan of showers over the bath, this was a good shower.

Breakfast could and should have been better. We've eaten breakfast in several different Holiday Inns and it is always similar in style and type. However this was the most disappointing. The bacon and mushrooms were tasteless, the scrambled egg was floating in unpleasant yellowish liquid and the grilled tomatoes were dried out on top while the rest was uncooked.

We have stayed at this hotel (in its various guises for a number of years on our anuual to and from France). It has always been and has become even more so an excellent place to stay. The staff are frienly particularly Soriah (sorry if I have mis-spelt her name) and of course Brian who sadly was not there due to illness for our breakfast this year. The room was excellent - even if the matress was the wrong way around! ( I had foot-end at my head end) but I am sure it wouldn't have made much difference. The matresse was very comfortable. We also liked the tea/coffee and biscuit facilities in the room - they were much appreciated. Of course there was the added extra of the Polish lady who the Council had placed there performing some interesting entertainment!

The pillows and it wasn't until afterwards that we read the card in the room that there was an option to change them. The ones in the room were rather uncomfortable.there

The location is great, on the edge of town but only a few minutes drive from the ferry terminal in a nice quiet area. We used the M2 and A2 off the M25 which meant we arrived almost at the hotel's door. Nothing to dislike about the hotel, the room was very comfortable with air-con and tea/coffee in the room. The restaurant is reasonably priced and the food, Italian, was actually much nicer than expected with friendly staff. Plenty of hotel parking available in front of the premises.

comfortable room, able to select one in the quietist part of the hotel, good sleep!, plenty of parking, good facilities in the room , friendly staff, we tried the Bella Italia restaurant for the first time expecting ' chain' food but it was surprisingly good

Although we could get eggs cooked fresh the breakfasts were left under heat lamps so was dried up - the three nights previously we had been in a hotel where they freshly cooked each breakfast, we noticed the difference !

It took a while to check in really slow I never stay at a holiday inn before so it was my first time but he didn't say hi and didn't say where things where like bar and breakfast was at this time and bar open from this time breakfast staff was amazing they smile all the time very helpful but front desk was not good but apart from that was a nice stay for first time at holiday in for me your maids for room service was great to they very friendly

No much apart u need a new coffee machine that we try to use as getting breakfast it wasn't working well kept saying no coffee

This particular Holiday Inn does everything well, the staff are freindly, the room clean and the location perfect for us as only 10 minutes from Dover ferry port. A special mention must be given to the on site Italian resteraunt, the food was excellent.

Maybe a bit more parking space as we had to parl off site initially, moving my car later to a space on site, this is only a small niggle as every other aspect of our stay was excellent

The hotel is ideally placed for either an early or late ferry crossing. Breakfast was good, and the on site (mostly Italian based) restaurant meant a tasty meal could be enjoyed without having to drive anywhere. The staff all seemed pleasant and helpful.

Baths! I find getting in and out of baths tricky, and a shower would be much easier for people of limited mobility. Last year when I enquired about a shower, I was told that there was only one "disabled" bathroom in the entire hotel.

I always like IHG hotels as you know what you are getting. The room is well similar in all hotels have everything you need and the beds and pillows never disappoint. Staff were polite and friendly. We had a breakfast and evening meal package and both meals were absolutely fantastic! The hotel had beautiful grounds however when we went it rained so we didn’t go out there but I can imagine on a sunny day sitting out having drinks in the garden would be lovely! Parking also is free and plenty of it.
