We walked half of the Seven Sisters hike from Eastbourne and then stayed here overnight then finished the hike to Seaford the next day. We had a few pints in the sun and then a delicious meal at the tiger inn, it was the perfect place to stay and made the weekend trip amazing. The room was beautiful in a lovely atmospheric pub, the bed was extremely comfy and even had a smart TV. The toiletries and hot drinks provided were great quality and the hot breakfast included was incredible. The staff were also lovely

Exceptional location. Authentic rural village inn atmosphere. Warm welcome. Outstanding food preparation and presentation. Superb friendly and professional staff. The Manager and Rachel (Rachael) were outstanding.

The price was quite high for a night in a village inn, but it's an exceptional inn and I guess the demand justifies the price given the outstanding ratings.

The room was lovely with a great view of the village green and was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and we were informed most of the produce was locally sourced. There is a market in the village hall ln a Wednesday. We would definitely stay again.

Only the steep stairs to the room but that was not a problem as everything else was great.

The oldy, worldly pub. The food was very nice. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated. Welcome and appreciated touches selection of warm drinks and water, with biscuits and chocolates. These were replenished both days we were there.

I would have liked to be able to open a window in our room, as we did hit a particularly warm spell when we visited.

Pleasant room - comfortable bed - warm - good supply of tea and coffee and very quiet with nice outlook across the green - excellent breakfast and staff and good pub food - beautiful area - lovely walks on your doorstep

Single glazing in bedroom so window misted up in cold weather and very cold common parts so cold draft under the door Pub bars and restaurant areas very cold even though there was a stove burning

A fantastic stay all round, we had a Sunday lunch and breakfast the next day, both of which were really good. We also bumped into some of the management team in a nearby restaurant and praised the changes they have made as we were told by some local friends it has improved since being under new ownership

Everywhere was clean and the staff were very pleasant, particularly the lady who served us breakfast on Friday, who was exceptional!

Slightly noisy from the garden outside, although we did expect this with it being a pub.

This is a gem. Situated in a quintessentially English village between the sea and the South Downs national park, set apart from the usual hustle and bustle of modern life. An oasis of calm and tranquility. Good food, comfortable accommodation and staffed by lovely people. Simply perfect

There is nothing not to like.

The location was superb, such a revelation. Having the green directly outside without passing traffic meant it was a very safe place for our granddaughters to run around and have fun. Breakfast was great and the staff were amazing. All these things came together to make for a special stay. Although we only stayed one night for my wife's birthday the Tiger Inn made a great impression on us and we will definitely be back, hopefully this year.

Honestly, there is nothing we didn't like about the Tiger Inn and consider it a great find. We stayed on a lovely summer evening so it would be interesting to make a comparison in the winter as the outdoor space is so amazing in the summer.

The attention to detail was amazing, it was comfortable, well managed and the breakfast was amazing. Definitely be staying again and would recommend it to anyone.
