Our stay was absolutely wonderful—truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The hotel is in the perfect spot, just a short walk from both the city center and the coastline, so everything we needed was close by. Our room was beautiful, spotless, and thoughtfully prepared, with lovely little touches like desserts and a bath bomb. The breakfast was delicious and made with care. But what made our stay really memorable were the people. Chris and Caroline were so warm and helpful, sharing great tips on hiking trails and fun things to do around town. You can feel the love and attention to detail they put into every part of the place.

The hotel is stunning, really beautifully decorated, the rooms are large with high ceilings and are kitted out with lovely furniture, even the shutters on the windows were lovely. We were greeted with a really friendly and warm welcome, the hosts were so incredibly helpful and made recommendations of places to go and even drew directions on a map to our restaurant. I made arrangements before hand to have a bottle of Prosecco in our room on arrival as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and this was done and communication was easy. They even very kindly upgraded our room when we checked in as it was available and they knew we were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary. We were able to prebook our breakfast slot ahead of our stay which meant we could pick our preferred time. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, a lovely selection on the cold buffet of pastries, cereal, juice, fruit, yogurts and granola and the hot food was done quickly and was cooked perfectly. The location was great, a short walk to the centre and the beach. Our room overlooked the tennis courts which were getting prepared for the upcoming tournament which was really nice. Parking was easy on the streets near the hotel.

I couldn’t name a single thing. It was perfect start to finish, we couldn’t be more pleased to have found this hotel would 100% return.

Caroline and Chris’s welcoming energy and the love and dedication that has clearly gone into Ravilious. The room and the communal spaces are stylish, spotless and great attention to detail. The bed was huge and so comfortable. The bath was a lovely touch and a relaxing experience. Breakfast was amazing, the overnight oats are *chefs kiss* - need to get the recipe as I forgot! We went to an event at the Congress which was a five minute walk and we had a tasty Thai meal beforehand - thanks for the reco! 5 mins to the seafront and we enjoyed a sauna the next morning.

Excellent b&b with evident attention to detail, which is crucial in any customer service environment. A warm welcome, fantastic, central location, nice big bedroom, chocolate marshmallows in addition to biscuits is a nice, noticeable touch. Bed & pillows comfortable, as was the bathroom & shower, with nice high end soap, shower gel & shampoo. Remarkably good breakfast with a selection of delicious home made yogurt with blueberries & chia seeds, plus cereals. I had scrambled eggs smoked salmon on toast which was perfectly cooked & presented. Can I highly recommend the Ravilious? Absolutely, of course! (PS - I have in the recent past stayed at several B&B's & hotels in Eastbourne)

It had a boutique yet homely and welcoming feel, the room was incredibly clean and even though it was a single was very spacious and quiet. The front and back garden space were both lovely areas to relax in, all of the interior decor and artefacts added to the overall ambience of the property. Both Chris and Caroline were amazing, really friendly and interested in your stay, giving tips on where to go and visit and local restaurants etc. the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a B&B with wide options and excellent service. The hotel was really close to everything and the free or cheap parking was a bonus, I’d definitely return thank you!

The Ravilious is a stunning building, in an amazing location. So central, everything is a short walk away. The room was spotless and cleaned daily. We loved our room, it was very spacious and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was lovely every morning, a lot of choice on the menu even for someone like myself who is dairy and egg free. The highlight of the stay were the fabulous hosts, Chris and Caroline. They were so friendly and attentive. Very helpful in recommending restaurants, giving directions, and so much more. Would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Eastbourne.

Not much to dislike! Everything was pretty great! My only negative was that I found the mattress a little too hard but that's just personal preference. There are a lot of stairs if you're staying in one of the rooms at the top of the house, this wasn't an issue for us but might be something to consider if you have mobility issues.

Chris and Caroline were perfect hosts — naturally helpful, friendly and attentive to just the right degree. The property is centrally located and in easy walking distance of the station. The room was pleasant, well-appointed and spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable, and everything worked well. Breakfast was delicious with a full range of options to please any taste. Our reason for being in Eastbourne wasn’t a happy one, but our stay at Ravilious at least was something to remember for all the right reasons.

We were lucky enough to have booked the Exec double which was large bright and airy. Loved the seating area which allowed us to unwind after a walk to beachy head and loved the biscuits and tunnocks tea cakes in the room. Also loved the options at breakfast, with a variety of hot options as well as cereals, yogurts and croissants.

Nothing really, other than preference for walk in shower, which I think was available in the upper Exec room. All was amazing.

I had a very warm welcome which included some useful knowledge of the local area. The bedroom was large, quiet and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed a long, hot bath. A continental breakfast was provided before breakfast time so that i could catch an early train. The train station was a short walk from the property. My suitcase was kindly stored during the day for me to collect later.

I was very happy with the accommodation and have no complaints.

Absolutely everything! The room was exactly as described. The hosts were WONDERFUL! The made to order breakfast was a fantastic way to start the day and the food was so good. Little touches like a helpful booklet in the room describing amenities/services, to stilled water and biscuits. Lots of helpful tips from the hosts. The location was easy walking distance to train, restaurants, and the pier.
