A Quality hotel overall with an appealing and welcoming restaurant and bar. Professional staff. The sea view bedrooms are comfortable, of a high standard with attention to detail and cleanliness. The presentation and edibility of the requested cooked breakfast order to my room was fantastic with the sea view in the morning. It's a pleasure to stay at this hotel. I appreciate the efforts of all the hidden staff that the guests don't see!

I wasn't keen on a row of windows from hotels opposite facing me on first entering the room due to it being the end room. This gave less privacy with the curtains opened. The bed faced the buildings, not the sea. Again hearing doors banging closed is my pet hate! The bed was exceptionally firm. Too much so on this occasion.

Quite, accessable rooms with excellent seaviews from the balcony. Nice bar and lobby area - for when the weather isn't great. Friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Great buffet breakfast

Superb room - seemed brand new. Lovely view at breakfast. Breakfast had all that we wanted and staff were excellent with clean tables and care being taken.

The room was a good size and had a side view of the sea. The beds were comfortable and there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. There was a good buffet breakfast with a varied selection of hot food, cereals, ham and cheese, fruit and yoghurt, teas and coffee and fruit juice. The hotel is well situated on the seafront and about 10 minutes walk from the centre and shops and railway station. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

When we arrived it was cold, so we put the air conditioning on, but we found this did not work properly. The following morning we spoke to reception and their maintenance man came to have a look at it. He could not solve the problem so we were given an electric radiator to use.

I like the size of my room and how spacious the room is. I love how I can still see clearly the sea view from the side and the sunshine. I love how I can take my time to enjoy, look after myself, freshen up, take it easy, and make myself comfortable. I also enjoyed the event that took place. This will stay in my memory. I felt even better after exercising in the gym. Finally, I love as they serve drinks. The breakfast there was really good. There are so many options to choose from if I want to have something different the next day. Some people said positive comments about me when they saw me after I came back from holiday.

When we arrived the heating was not working in our room and the receptionist said she would get it looked at. When we returned to the room it was still really cold. She kindly provided a heater but it generally didn’t seem that the heating was working properly for the room. We had extended our stay by one day and were informed that we would have to update our room card the next day. We did this but then the card stopped working again the next day. It was irritating as the young receptionist was somewhat abrupt and she said it was because of security. This did not make any sense as we had originally booked the room for two days. If only she had just said sorry that happened rather than being officious and making it feel like it was our fault. Usually the staff are pleasant and helpful.

having stayed in the view for work numerous times this was my first visit for pleasure its to me the best hotel choice in eastbourne its just excellent in every catogory we took our small dog we were very welcomed thres not much to say only that the rooms are excellent the food is excellent the staff are amazing its everything a hotel stay should be perfect enjoyable with no drama

having stayed mostly with work was unsure of parking so i payed on arival at the metre but later i found out you can get discounted scratch card consesions from the hotel and with us being a blue badge holder it was free parking this is not displayed on the parking signs outside but i now know for next time

The locations was great. The room was excellent, by far the best hotel that I have stayed at in England. The room was great, you felt like you were in a totally different country. I especially liked that you could lie down on the bed and see nothing but the sea,pure heaven I must congratulate you on the lighting in the bathroom, best lighting I have experienced in a long time.

The only downside to have a moan about. With the overall effect lush, it could have provided the customer with more tea and coffee and definitely more milk cartons. Only supplying two, seems ridiculously mean. The other item that I found was the brown chair, it looked ok, but sitting in it, needs to have the seat re upholstered, the inner padding had sunk, so when you sat down you fall into a well. The green seat also needs the same. Lastly, I was not feeling 100% one day and requested breakfast in bed, which you kindly delivered. I had ordered cornflakes which arrived in a dessert bowl, but rather than a milk jug containing the milk, another dessert bowl was on the tray, filled to the brim with the milk. So that needs addressing. So it is minor things.
