Booked at very short notice as no public transport to get home. Nice size of room (comfortable even if fairly basic) Staff very helpful - I had left phone charger at home and was leant one overnight.

No real issues for vast majority of stay. Wind was quite strong on morning of 27th (not an issue) & was only in morning I saw that Window had no lock & had blown open (looking like lock had fallen off previously & without the wind no one had made staff aware). This is probably more a complaint about guests who don't make hotel aware so they can fix.

It's a cute little affordable hotel, nothing too fancy. the rooms were very clean and newly furbished giving it a modern touch. they had a kettle, mugs and some snacks as well. toilets were also clean and moderate. tv had Netflix as well. very nice and comfortable beds. after going through the corridors and stairs of the hotel seeing the rooms was a nice breath of fresh air. the lobby was tiny but clean and had a coffee machine and refreshments cabinet with a good variety of drinks and juices. the receptionist Deep was very kind and helpful and was always there when needed. we needed another room when we got there and he was happy to help arrange it for us as soon as possible. the hotel had a tiny lift fitting about 5 persons (130kg) per trip which was also convenient. didn't have breakfast so I can't say much about that, but restaurants and shops were easily accessible at a walking distance from the location. the hotel isn't located on the main road with a sea view it's on one of the streets but that's no problem as you can literally see the sea right as you step outside the hotel and walk a few steps forward.

the corridors and stairs definitely need refurbishing but nothing wrong apart from that :)

Very clean and comfortable bed, nive firm mattress, good shower, water was a nice temperature. Room was a good size and overall temperature of room was comfortable.

Unfortunately the toilet brush holder was rusty and could do with being replaced and one of the lamps also needed a new bulb , we couldn't get the television to work as there weren't any instructions and it seemed to be stuck on a very low volume, I do understand that people don't want to be disturbed by overly loud televisions coming from other guests rooms, but it just would've been nice if it could be turned up by a fraction. The only other thing I just wanted to mention was that the window opened inwards very wide so jus t be mindful if any children happen to be present.

1hr ftom gatwick airpirt.Friendly staff, online checkin and out, clean and practicle. 2 mins to beach..2 mins to nice pub plus nextl street plenty restaraunts. 10 min walk from hotel down sea font lower tier by beach bars cafes,entertainent , top tier by road hotels then restaraunts and shoping town..bus and train stain 15 mins walk for trip to brigton or train from citys . Room ample clean shower, wardrobe, clean selection of towels, simple but enougth tea and coffee ..lift to floor.. ( bar and seating lounge / eating area should be ready in a month) low cost parking on street very good value for money

Needs little more warmth in decor and art work.. simple finishing touches woth out great expense make massive inpack..(not a major issue but bar not ready , work on hotel was actually not disturbing guest but give it a month by july should make entrance and g.floor a lot more welcoming )

- next to the beach and nice beach front restaurant - parking permit - good price - you get what you pay for (you got access to the beach, restaurants near by, parking cost only over 2£ per day) so be aware if you are looking for great standard and luxury- go somewhere else and be ready to pay double or triple. It is perfectly fine to stay there as most of the time you are outside. - smart tv in the room

- it was clean overall but there is some details that could be improved - I had delux room, it was refurbished but I believe staff should pay more attention for better ventilation and fresh air (keep the windows open) as some rooms weren’t good for stay - no hairdryer as described

The room was lovely and bed comfy. The heated floor in the bathroom was a bonus. The location of the hotel is one of the reasons we choose to stay here. Just a short walk to the main shops and pier.

The shower wasn't the best. And the new £25 per night deposit rule was a shock as there was nothing on their page or in the message I received after booking. There is just a notice on the reception desk. I paid the £50 deposit for the two nights but not happy as it left me £50 down. Checked out yesterday morning and it still has not been returned to my card😡😡Unfortunately this means that we will most likely not be staying in what was once our go to hotel in Eastbourne anymore as I'm not prepared to have to pay £50 or more on top of paying for the room and parking

It was just right for what we needed. I was looking for 3 single beds in the same room. The beds were comfortable.

Side light next to beds were not working.

This is the second time I have stayed at Pearl and Pebbles and it matched my expectations once again. The room was clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was large and clean, and the Wi-Fi worked extremely well. Away from the room, the hotel looks a little dated still, but I'm sure the corridors will be renovated in time. All in all, it's a lovely hotel to stay in, close to the seafront, the town, and Devonshire Park (for the tennis)

The price we paid for the room seemed a little steep, but it appears to be the going rate for Eastbourne when the Eastbourne International Tennis event is on. A couple of minor things that I wasn't so keen on - the window in the bathroom wasn't frosted (although, being on the top floor, it'll be difficult for many people to have seen me in the bathroom), and there wasn't a bathmat or handrail when climbing into the bath to use the shower. Other than that, the room was excellent and I'm sure to book again for next year.

Lovely room, appeared recently refurbished and redecorated. Large flatscreen TV, comfortable bed, plenty of storage. Luxury, well-appointed bathroom with shower over bath.

The bathroom window was old and single-glazed. Even when closed, it let a draught through which caused the door to rattle quite loudly. Other guests were quite noisy. We could hear their conversations and them slamming doors in the corridor clearly, which disturbed our sleep.

A big size room with a comfortable bed and a massive TV (felt too big for a hotel room)

The bathroom was not great, with a broken window. Where the TV was unnecessarily too big, the sink was ridiculously small which meant that I struggled to fill up the kettle and couldn't attempt refilling my bottle of water. The window in the bedroom was screwed shut too, so no possibility to get some fresh air during the night unless I plugged the fan.
