The property is in a great location on the beachfront and a less than 10 minute walk to the pier and town centre. The member of staff at reception was very helpful and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Overall, good value for money. There is a NCP car park which is a five minute walk from the hotel which offers cheap parking for long periods of time since the Hotel does not offer parking.

Some interior work could be done to improve the appearance of the reception area, however can’t really complain since the price was so good.

Superb location, beautiful rooms, welcoming reception and the receptionist Zaid was very kind and helpful. The sea view was stunning. Close by the delightful Bistro Pierre, next to the Wish Tower, serves from breakfast to dinner. Opposite is a Beach Shack serving tea, coffee, cake and delicious ice-cream. Around the corner is a charming little street with shops, bistros and atmosphere. It's a short walk to Holywell along the promenade and then up on to the South Downs.

I like a firmer (Premier Inn-style) mattress, because it's better for backs. But fine for guests who enjoy a softer bed. There was nothing else I didn't like.

We checked in for one night last night, the price was very reasonable, we had a single and double with sea views. There was tea and coffee in the rooms , and a wonderful view as the sun rose. The staff where polite the bedding was clean and fresh on with a shower gel soap and shampoo each. Comfortable stay. We would stay again. The hotel is not a luxury establishment but it's clean and comfortable for the price so we are happy to stay again. We stayed in rooms 19 and 21 and where happy with them.

Shower pressure too low, milk carton was not good quality when opened as one was off, so declined drinking any tea or coffee,wardrobe door handle was broken.window handle was broken,bathroom door doesn’t close properly.heated towel rail not working.Water dripping from ceiling onto drawers on our last morning before checking out.

I would just like to say that this is probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in, the rooms were perfect the location was brilliant, as for the staff especially the hotel receptionist was a breath of fresh air, very welcoming zab I think is his name, a real gentleman and very friendly and helpful and always smiling,, thank you so much for all you helped me with,, 10,10,, great place, cant wait to go back again, thank you for your hospitality,,

As a solo traveller it can be hard to find cheap hotels that cater for someone by themselves. I was happy to have a small room with a single bed as that is all I needed. Bonus was that this room had a beautiful view of the beach! The shower was good and whilst the bathroom was small it was fine for what I needed. The room still had all the amenities you would expect from a hotel with a kettle and small tv and desk space too. Location was perfect on the beach and close to some nice local fish and chip restaurants and only a 15 min walk or so to the main station

Staff weren't particularly helpful, just doing the basics of the job. Didn't bother me too much as I just needed my key but don't expect to get anything more than just that. They don't even offer luggage storage which felt like they just didn't want to do it and not that they didn't have the space for it. The bar was "under maintenance" but I also felt like they just didn't want to pay for someone to staff it. Bed was an old spring style mattress. Wasn't the worst bed I've ever slept on and I didn't struggle to get to sleep but don't expect a luxury hotel bed.

Fantastic location for the air show and the beach, right by the Wishtower. Was exactly as expected - no frills but comfortable. Everything provided to make tea/coffee. New bathroom, great bed. Lounge. No disturbance from other guests. Note check-in is strictly between the hours advertised and there is no luggage storage available.

Room was hot but a fan was provided. No hairdryer. Paintwork needs a bit of touching up and a bit of peeling wallpaper repaired.

Great view of the beautiful ocean. Beautiful large colonnade of Palm trees on the prom outside. This is an even better looking species than the Trachycarpus trees that Agent Starling has grown and distributed over 4500 of. Someone should check on their CO2 sequestration quality and if good, find out how to grow them from seed and start harvesting their seeds. CO2 sequestration will probably be good as they have large evergreen broadleaf leaves.

Window needed chair support to get access to balcony. Difficult for old fat guy like myself. Room 14 could do with a strong bamboo or piece of 2x2 to support window to balcony.

I liked the location, the gentleman who greeted me on arrival-he was very kind and helpful-, I actually liked the room (2) I stayed in. Bed was vey comfortable and the room had everything I needed Previously I read the reviews focusing on the bad ones, but there wasn’t any bedbug in my bed, I didn’t have any problems with the windows and the room wasn’t dated or anything. TV and wifi worked properly too

The only thing that I didn’t like about the hotel was the lack of soundproofing. I really could hear all the other guests especially the people in the room above mine

Large comfortable room and bed, great location near shops and restaurants as well as the seafront, excellent value for money. Nice large TV which I could easily plug my Apple TV into. I’ve stayed here before last year and it’s nicer than I remember.

So although the hotel lacks a few facilities, for example no left luggage and no breakfast, also generally speaking it has an early checkout time, all these tbh aren’t much of an issue as it was clear beforehand plus if it keeps the price low, I don’t mind at all as I often travel light and prefer to have breakfast at one of many excellent cafes and restaurants in Eastbourne. Unfortunately the Wifi wasn’t working for the whole duration which was a bit annoying (I did spot engineers outside looking into the issue) but luckily I had decent download and upload speeds on my Three mobile and plenty of data. Also the power sockets are far from the bed, be sure to bring a long cable if you must.
