20m from Queens tennis, 100m from the beach. Room was a bit dated and fan noisy (use the shaving light!) but spacious and clean. Ddisabled access was fine (ask in advance for fully accessible); tea/coffee and milk readily available at the entrance and parking (£3 from reception) not impossible. For a cheap break, peak season, it was great. (We did a Witherspoon's breakfast, about 1/2 mile into Eastbourne centre.)

The outside looks off putting, but when you enter it looks much better inside. A good stay for the price, rooms were large and clean with view looking out to beach front, plenty of hot water, location near to centre and beach front. Parking easy using the 'H' permits that can be used in other areas in Eastbourne. Couple running the hotel were pleasant and catered for needs nothing was too much for them.

Thought the bar was expensive, but it was nice to sit outside the hotel. Some noise from locals in the night, but it was entertaining!!!!

Warm friendly welcome, parking outside the hotel with a permit card, £4 a day or free parking within a short distance, room was comfortable and clean, free Wi-Fi which I recorded at 70 mbps was a lot better than I’ve experienced at most premier inn’s or Travelodge’s, the bar and restaurant all looked fine but we didn’t use those facilities as we wanted to enjoy the town and seafront, we both slept really well.

The building like most buildings in Eastbourne is old so may find them a little more noisier than a really modern hotel, the room had lovely sash windows which are probably not as soundproof as modern ones but look nicer, same with the building as a whole but that was more than reflected in the price and was considerably cheaper than premier inn yet better in some ways.

Friendly staff, altered the booking so I could have a room with a bath which is really important to me as I booked the trip especially for a bath as I lived in shared accommodation where there is only a shower. Bed was comfortable and TV worked and was a good size. Water temperature and pressure were good.

Was a bit confusing how to get in at first as there is a sign pointing to reception but when you get to the sign on the door it says to check in via the bar. So my tip to travellers is ignore the arrow pointing at the door and check in via the bar instead.

The hotel room and facilities excided my expectations has booked as one of cheapest rooms could find that night, the hotel was not open when first got there couple hours before check in with a note stuck on door which made me think yes getting what id paid for cheap room for the night. When I went back at 3 to check in was met by friendly helpful staff, the room and hotel it's self was well past what I expected was very clean well equipped, good size room and bathroom, comfortable bed . Great value for money

I recently stayed at Carlton court hotel eastbourne budget hotel, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. I saw some of the past reviews before booking which were mixed of opinions like any other hotels, but I’m glad I decided to give it a chance. First, the location is unbeatable. It’s just 150m from the beach, 2 min walk to restaurants tennis stadium and theatre couldn’t have asked for a better spot to enjoy the coast town. The room was clean, simple, and functional. Yes, it’s not a five-star luxury resort, but it’s exactly what I expected for the price. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was well-maintained. Plus, the staff was friendly and welcoming, making check-in a breeze. I can’t speak to the hotel’s past issues, but it seems that they’ve made some improvements since. Everything seemed to run smoothly during my stay, and I felt the hotel offered excellent value for money. For anyone looking for a budget-friendly spot to stay by the sea, this place is a great choice. It may not be perfect, but the location, friendly service, and affordable prices more than make up for it. Highly recommended if you're looking for a no-fuss, budget-friendly seaside getaway!

Budget hotel near the seafront. I booked a single room its small but clean and has ensuite. Staff were friendly checked me in quickly the hotel overall looks fairly well maintained but it's not modern and brand new. I paid £65 for Saturday to Monday for the location I think it's a great price. Food and drink was also available in the bar if required plus a option to book breakfast again if you want it.

Lift not working however it has been taken off the website so people know in advance to expect stairs only.

I had a pleasant stay at Carlton Court Hotel. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach and close to shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making check-in smooth. The room was clean and comfortable, offering good value for the price. While the decor is a bit dated, it didn't detract from the overall experience. For a budget-friendly option in a central location, I would recommend Carlton Court Hotel.

I have stayed in the double room by myself for 3 nights and everything went smoothly more or less. The day upon my arrival they had trouble with hot water but this was fixed by the end of the same day. I could see that my room was not the one I booked (from pictures) but since it had everything I needed I didn’t see any problem. You shouldn’t expect more than you see in advertising photos and then there will be no reason to complain.

Since I stayed in the double room by myself I did have enough pillows and room to move, however if you are travelling as a couple you might find this space too tight for longer than 1 night stay. Also, there is no hairdryer or mini fridge.

Superb location for Towner Gallery and Theatres. Parking is only £3 per day on the road outside- the hotel provides the scratch off card or the windscreen. No food at hotel but plenty of places nearby. I went to Downtown Deli on Carlisle Road for a great bagel. Small room but fine. Power sockets in sensible places, all lights work. Water very hot. Quiet over night. In the evening I went to Stage Door pub- huge portions and delicious soup. Camilla's book shop is rather overwhelmingly stocked I spent most of the afternoon there.

I would prefer a shower with solid walls rather than a curtain
