Excellent location for our visit to the tennis. Comfortable bed. Clean and recently decorated room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Parking permit from hotel would have been much better value than the NCP than we pre-booked (lesson for next time!).

Small bathroom. Like so many hotels these days facilities such as bar and breakfast suffer, but there were plenty of outside options available nearby, including discount vouchers for breakfast at the hotel opposite, made this a non-issue.

Great location on the Sea Front. Lots of on street parking around the hotel at a reduced rate of £2.20 per day. Friendly staff, easy check in, free biscuits and sweets in reception. There is a bar area that we didn't use ourselves but is available for residents. There are also vending machines and a pool table. Comfortable quiet room.

The location is fantastic. It is located at Howard Square, an area that we love in Eastbourne. Easy access to seafront, to the Towner Gallery and to the town centre. Parking is easy as you can buy all day parking voucher from the hotel at a reasonable price. Room size is not bad. The bed is not as firm as I would like but ok. We had a light and bright twin with side sea view which was unexpected. Staff A star, very helpful and professional. No take away pack for morning as advertised on the webpage but it is ok. They do have voucher for breakfast at The View hotel opposite, for £10 per head, which is also very reasonable considering what you get for the buffet breakfast (very good quality and lots of choices).

Just like any other hotel, would like to see more hooks, especially in the bathroom to hang towels and wash bags etc. There was no hooks at all in the bath room. The toilet space was a bit cramp and you have to sit sort of lightly sideway. I think a toilet with a corner cistern might have worked better in that space. I had showers in the morning, and although not a power shower, the flow was adequate and water hot. But my husband could only get a dribble of cold water when he showered in the afternoon. It was the same for both days. Maybe some water pressure issues during the day? But for the price - we have no complaints.

This was our third stay at West Rocks Hotel, so we knew what to expect. It's a gorgeous building with a beautifully styled common area (with vending machines, a pool table and a sea view). The staff was lovely as always. The hotel is well maintained. Our room was clean and more spacious than we had expected. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. This hotel is staffed 24/7, which is a real plus (gives you a sense of safety).

There's nothing we didn't like. There's a lovely bar in the common area but unfortunately it's closed. Would be great if they opened that up.

Clean refurbished room - good idea to have reduced breakfast rate at The View. Reception manned 24 hours. Good location and real value for money.

The window sill outside was absolutely filthy needs a thorough clean- No full length mirror in room could put one on back of door? Also specific to us the bathroom radiator was on full blast the whole time found out as we were leaving that the switch to turn it off was by the wardrobe - need a sign in room letting customers know. Also good if wi- fi code was in room as I lost the piece of paper handed to me! Shame bar wasn’t open it looked nice.Didnt like lift!

Exceptional sea views from our room, and a warm welcome from the staff. We were celebrating our wedding and we found confetti in a heart shape on our bed, which was a lovely touch.

I liked the size of the room and that the 24hour staff was great Staff always friendly Bathroom was small I'd like window to be easier to open sash I did report sink not draining needed a unblocked put in but wasn't done was a pain when brushing teeth as didn't drain away did report But room was comfortable fan was noisy which you needed on But bed was made each morning Overall nice stay Was a bit expensive but time of year maybe Was quiet good experience

The hotel is located on the very first line from the sea, in one of the most beautiful and picturesque places. The staff are very friendly, polite, and helpful. It’s also a lovely touch that every time we come here — and this is already our third visit — we find little chocolates waiting for us. A small detail, but it makes us feel very welcome.

For this price it’s hard to complain, but a bit more attention to cleanliness in the bathroom and dusting would be great. The bedding and towels are snow-white a little old, but clean and fresh, which is always nice.

Excellent view of the sea and only a few minutes from the beach. Although there was no formal breakfast, they gave us a bag of snacks every morning. There's always somebody at reception and they were all friendly. I felt truly welcome. For me, it was a dream holiday and the accommodation was a vital part of that.

It's possible to find things to criticise but it's great value for money. The room is perhaps small for some people. There is some noise from the street even late into the evening - but truly not worth complaining about. It's a seaside resort and has limited evening entertainment.

Great location, spotlessly clean, nice and simple, sitting area, play area if you came with children, also a pool table, and a fridge with a cold drinks, whilst you are waiting for receptionist to welcome the guests, relaxing and peaceful in my opinion.

Very friendly staff members receptionists who were there, they were very helpful friendly and communicative,every morning offered a complimentary breakfast bag packed with yoghurts fruits juice and a fresh croissant, I also loved my room with the sea view, room was cosy had everything we needed, it was lovely to wake up every morning with the sound of the sea .
