Was a bit cold in lower part of unit probably due to gap in lounge windows letting cool air in The hand held shower head in lower floor bathroom wasn’t working Would have liked some info left at property letting us know where convenience stores were and which way to catch tram into city centre and just some general info about local area. Another comfortable armchair in the lounge area would have been great

For us, the wind rattled the windows which woke us up. The hot tap in the bathroom rattled, and the bath had lots of hair plugging it up which meant the bath filled as you had a shower. Finding that was quite unpleasant.

Great convenient location in Leith - tram to Edinburgh on doorstep. Accomodation was well presented, incredibly clean and very comfortable. Staff were very accomodating, a cot in the apartment (was quiet enough for a 6 month old despite being on a street and there been other apartments - no noise) and a last minute high chair. All the needed amenities, including a good bath, plenty of hot water, a coffee machine, large fridgeand an excellent oven. Good temperature, comfy beds and lots of space. Ideal for a couple or family - we are a couple with a under 1 staying for 5 nights). Property served great as a base for trips out and about but also ad a place to stay in own right. Would stay there again.

Parking not available on site - though clear guidance given so not unexpected. Free parking was only a 10 minute walk away so not a huge problem and as so close to trams, no need for the car aside one day trip outside of Edinburgh. Only an issue if lots of luggage. TV was well equipped with smart apps though a number of previous guests were still logged into a number of apps.

Lack of Car park access although we were prepared having read the feedback. This did not damper our stay. We parked up temporarily in the private carpark 2 doors up down a long very narrow driveway to unload our bags (it was Sunday evening and very quiet). This was a bit closer than the recommended car spot. We then had the hassle afterwards of parking the car. The link in the instructions led us to a further point a 13 min walk but use commonsense and park closer as long as you don’t park in the ticket bay if you are after free parking. Other mention is there wasn’t a lot of eateries in the area open after 8pm. This did not have an effect on our stay we thoroughly enjoyed where we stayed.

I had to book this place at the last minute - literally the night before - as a previous booking at a different property unexpectedly became unavailable. This may colour my judgement somewhat, but nevertheless, here goes. We had an exquisite flat at this location - light, well-ventilated and tastefully decorated. The overall quality of the place was excellent. The beds were comfortable and afforded a very restful sleep.

Access to the keys was very easy, but the information provided did not include the flat number associated with the booking. This may have been an oversight, even though the other communication was exemplary. I had to ring up to obtain the flat number, and this was readily available to the staff member who answered the phone.

The location and the flat was comfy, stylish and spacious.

The flat needs a little tlc. All the kitchen utensils and crockery were in the dishwasher when we arrived, and it was a mix of clean and dirty. The extractor fan in the bathroom was temperamental. Also, the property on booking says that there is parking and free parking, but then you're directed to street parking near a park a 10/15 minute walk away, which is a bit cheeky. Zero contact with staff, all automated messages.

Location is great, close to the tram stop and all of Leith’s attractions. Easy to get to downtown Edinburgh. The converted warehouse is beautifully decorated and the beds/furniture were very comfortable. Kitchen well-equipped and nice dining area. Beautiful bathrooms and all other rooms very spacious and well-equipped. Pre-arrival information was efficient and accurate. Also helpfully signposted to an area where parking was free.

There was a lot of external noise from revellers, and also footfall noise from upstairs apartments - this went on for hours each night, so ear plugs might be an idea! A minor gripe, but couldn’t find a cup that fitted the coffee pod machine! Only a couple of coffee pods provided (we have stayed elsewhere where this was more generous). The rainfall shower had an additional shower head which was adjustable on a pole - but there didn’t seem to be any way of switching the water flow to this outlet rather than the rainfall shower.

The location was perfect for us! The bed was very comfortable & the decor was done very well - the apartment did indeed look very chic! The bathroom was also very cool!

There is no wardrobe or anywhere to hang your clothes - I had to go out & buy some hangers as we were attending a wedding & needed to hang stuff up! The 4 or more flights of stairs were also a bit of a challenge as my wife unlukily had a bad knee on those particular days!

The accommodation was very stylish with the decor being very thoughtful. The location is excellent, being a 5-8min walk from either Foot of the Walk or The Shore tram stop. We were near cafes, which was also convenient. Despite the tram running in front of the building, it's a very quiet neighborhood. We also had plenty of space for four guests and our luggage.

As a warning, the room may not be well-insulated at night so the floors and the room itself were a little cold. The washer/dryer was not properly cleaned before us so we could not use it. Some of the overhead lighting was a little dim.

The apartment felt great from the moment we walked in the door. Although we did not use kitchen equipment, the kitchen appeared to be very fully equipped. The tram is outside the front door. We didn't use it (there's a good bus service to central Edinburgh), trams pass frequently. There are many eating places and pubs in the vicinity. Most of these are fairly pricey, but you can find somewhere more reasonable with a little walking. Leith itself is now a pleasure to visit. Communication with the chap in charge was personal, fast and helpful.

The trams start pretty early (about 4am), so if you're sensitive to these trundling down the road, this may affect your sleep. The windows are single glazed (maybe because it's a listed building or in a conservation area). This didn't affect us, but could make the apartment a little chilly in winter.
