The location was amazing. The bed is really comfy and although you’re right in the city you can’t hear much noise

Our oven didn’t work, the bathroom door didn’t close which caused issues with the fire alarms. The fire alarms went off a few times during our stay

The entire hotel and room are beautiful, charming and well maintained. Room is spacious, spotless, everything you need in an apartment are available in the room. Slept great every night in a very comfortable bed and in a quiet, peaceful atmophere. Remnants of the historical headquarters of the Scotmans newspaper are seen everywhere inside the hotel, flooring, wall tiles, staircase. Very charming and special. Access to the building, room and storage for your luggage is easy and secure with code, Highly recommend this hotel for so many reasons including its location in the heart of Edinburgh.

That I had to leave.

location was very convenient. No water in shower our final morning. Staff came quickly to fix but because of the early time we had to leave, by the time they arrived we did not have time to shower our last day. I realize it was no ones fault but it was not a good way to leave.

The pillows need to be replaced or laundered with bleach. They smell terrible! Really terrible and the smell is not hidden by using fresh linens

Everything was perfect. The location of the hotel directly near royal mile in the heart of the city. Super clean, heating was great we stayed super warm, very big apartment with comfy beds and sofa. Clean kitchen and bathrooms which offer just everything. Small lovely little details. Huge mirrors in the bedroom great windows very tasteful furniture. We loved it. Felt like home really. There was a bathtub to in the apartment with bath salt and everything and a shower as well. The staff in the apartment mostly the cleaning staff carried our baga super nice people. The only thing that was challening are the stairs to the west wing apartments 23 but worth it of course. And that the tv has no option to connect to netflix or apps just cable tv. And also the check in instructions are great everything is explained in details very smooth process like your own home. We will come again planning already :)

The location is fantastic and great to be smack in the centre. There is work going on at the moment on the North Bridge which made finding the stairwell on Market Street a tad confusing... Purely because we had come from the tram on Prince's Street. Once we got our bearings it was crystal clear and a gorgeous location. The pull out bed in the living room could do with a bit of bolstering or a thicker mattress as you could feel the 3 folding parts of the bed. The apartment is perfectly appointed, beautiful high ceilings and is a lovely home from home after a long day walking this beautiful city. If you chose to self cater, everything that you need is there to whip up a nice meal. The apartment was immaculate and the Molton Brown products give a very welcoming scent.

The pull out bed could do with being adjusted in some way. If my friend and I had been sleeping in the opposite rooms, I believe that she wouldn't have been overly happy.

The appartment was well presented, modern and clean. It was very easy to access as instructions were very clearly stated. The washing machine was a bonus, the shower lovely and hot and the heating was excellent! It was in a perfect location in the centre of the city and close to walk to all the famous sights. Overall we had a wonderful experience at the Linton Collection on our 12 day stay in Edinburgh.

The bedroom section was a little tight to move around in but this was only a very small problem. Unfortunately there were roadworks on North Bridge making it impossible for a taxi to drop us off directly in front. Of course this is not the fault of Linton Collection and one can be dropped off close by.

The room was very spacious and clean, with good kitchen facilities and a washing machine (with everything you need provided - washing detergent, drying rack, cooking utensils). The room was nicely furnished, and the bed was comfortable and clean.

The bathroom, while lovely, could have been improved by an anti-slip mat inside the shower, or anti-slip bathmat for getting out of the shower. The shower is also raised, and may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues to use it. However, bathroom was still clean and useable (all towels provided). The lift only works across one section of the building, and guests should be warned they may have to carry their luggage up several flights of stairs.

Fab location, quiet but v central Great to store bags before check in Spacious apartment

We’ve been staying here for 10 years 1/2 times a year. It could do with a refresh Chipped furniture and paintwork, one v flat cushion per sofa etc WiFi drops in and out a lot Minor grumbles and didn’t spoil the stay The knock on the door at bang on 11am to say we needed to go was a little unwelcome- we were stood by the door ready to leave but we’ve never had this before!

What an amazing location, very central and close to the Royal Mile. The apartment looks fab and is really clean, with easy access & clear instructions emailed prior to the date of travel. Would definitely stay here again

The only thing I got confused about was that it said the bag store was open on your day of checkout from 6am - 12pm, which made it seem like you had to collect your bags by 12 noon. It was infact 12am midnight, but it didn't clarify this until I'd already checked out and I'd paid for a bag store elsewhere

Property was great, once we were able to get in, the stay was very nice. Great Location, very comfortable apartment with everything you need. They do offer luggage storage if your apartment is not ready (if you arrive early), that was so convenient.

Did not get the check in email, let Booking.com know and messaged the property also. Was told it was sent but never received. That was the only problem, the stay was nice. we were told there was a property manager available. It took a couple phone calls to get the door code to get it. Once inside the stay was great.
