Room was spacious, great location
The carpet in my room hadn’t been vacuumed, it needed a good clean with food particles ingrained in it. For the price of the hotel room I would expect a high standard of cleanliness. I had to ask for more toilet paper and tissues. When I moved the tissue cover there was so much dust .

The breakfast is excellent, with something for everyone. The hotel is situated right in the centre of town in the thick of the action. Restaurants, bars, shops right on your door step. The staff were good-humoured, incredibly helpful and really added to our stay. Cozy, well-appointed room that was spotlessly clean.

We recently stayed at this hotel as a family. The location is excellent, within walking distance to many of Edinburgh’s key attractions, shops, and restaurants. The room and bathroom sizes were generous, which was a pleasant surprise
The windows cannot be opened, which makes the rooms feel stuffy and lacking fresh air. • No connecting rooms are available, which is inconvenient for families. • During our stay, there was an actual fire incident in the building. The hotel was evacuated, and we were left outside on the street for over three hours, while the fire brigade attended the scene. No proper communication or support was provided by the hotel staff during or after the incident. • Housekeeping was poor, with only surface-level cleaning done and no real attention to detail. • Housekeeping staff kept knocking on the door early in the morning, repeatedly asking if we wanted the room cleaned—even when the “Do Not Disturb” sign was displayed.

Most of the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The person at reception when we arrived was wonderfully pleasant and he went out of his way to accommodate us and answer any questions. The location is perfect for touring Edinburgh and accessing the Royal mile and local sights. Good that they provide morning coffee and croissants. Any room needs were met promptly and the hotel was clean. Very welcoming to families.
For people travelling they have to come and go at often early or late hours and there could be some access to coffee or croissants at those times.

Exceptional. We were with the hotel for a wedding in St Margaret’s Chapel this weekend, built in 1096 I was hoping for a memorable weekend. I was not disappointed, and the hotel was the perfect base. The location is peerless, absolutely perfectly located on the Royal Mile and adjacent to a variety of refresh authentic watering holes, however, silence in the room above ~ they’ve nailed that. The staff are courteous and very quick at moving things along; I had no reason for assistance, apart from extra pillows for post-hip replacement surgery which I was furnished immediately, as the machinery of this great hotel were well-oiled and totally buttoned-down. I am trying to convince my wife to relocate to Edinburgh and the team & facilities of the Radisson did my cause favours beyond my dreams. If, like us, you are driving, the car park is attached and serviced via a lift from the reception; in itself this is a HUGE bonus as navigating a new city centre isn’t always as straight forward as “maps” would have you believe. Thank you so much for an amazing stay.
Nothing, it was perfect across all measures.

Radisson Blu was a superb hotel in a perfect location. On arrival staff were very welcoming and accommodating throughout our entire trip. Our room was ready upon arrival and we were able to check in and enjoy our stay. The room we stayed in was a superior room overlooking fantastic views. All staff were exceptional! Our room was cleaned daily and our complimentary items were replenished ready for us to use each day.
The only thing we could say was that we feel it was a little bit overpriced for a midweek stay and we have stayed in other Radisson hotels in different cities and have paid far less and that was including breakfast.

Radisson Blu in Edinburgh boasts an exceptional location right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient to access all major landmarks and attractions. The prices are very reasonable, especially compared to other hotels in the area, offering excellent value for the services and location. The cleanliness was outstanding; the rooms and facilities were well-maintained and spotless. As for the service, it was truly remarkable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful, going out of their way to add an extra bed for me with genuine kindness and flexibility. It’s worth noting that room sizes in Europe tend to be small, so I opted for a Premium room for a bit more space, and there was a good offer available for this room type. I didn’t try the restaurant or breakfast due to the wide variety of dining options nearby. Another great feature was the complimentary late checkout until 1 PM, which added convenience to my schedule. In short, my experience at Radisson Blu was fantastic, especially considering the price, location, and quality of service. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a top-notch stay in Edinburgh.
Nothing.

The hotel is located perfectly to explore the City. The staff were fantastic, warm and welcoming and couldn't do enough for our stay. We asked for a twin room and due to a mix up we were given a double. The staff went out of their way to resolve this and in the end we were upgraded to a magnificent suite. We didn't complain, we didn't need too. The staff did everything to resolve the issue and couldn't apologise enough (not that they needed too, these things happen but the staff were exceptional). Rooms were clean, spacious and well stocked with teas, coffees, toiletries etc. Left our bags in the hotel after checkout as our train wasn't until the evening. The staff couldn't do enough to help us.
I don't have a single complaint.

The room was large and well equipped (the carpet could do with a refresh though). The location was perfect and all the staff were very friendly and attentive
We stayed in a family room but unfortunately when we arrived there was no cot as requested and the toys advertised in the photos were not there, which led to a very disappointed 3 year old. We called down to reception and someone quickly brought up the cot and toys (and explained that previous guests have stolen toys so they don't put them at by default any more). The pool was uncomfortably cold

Excellent location / short distance to primary visiting location in Edinburgh Good value Breakfast / swimming pool
In our room on the picture when I booked was Junior Suite showing Telescope- we were very excited to have it . Unfortunately it was only on pictures . Then there is a lot of funny noises coming from bathroom ventilation and from outside ( probably that’s why is a double window) but unfortunately you can hear this annoying repetitive noise for whole night / you must have ear plugs to sleep
