Nice location next to Craigmillar castle, and well connected with lots of bus options to go into the city centre. However, not many shops nearby! (Means it's also pretty quiet so that's nice). A nice continental breakfast offered 8-9am. Lovely staff (although they did rush 30 minutes before checkout on the last day)

The bathroom in the quadruple room (room 4) was a bit small, and the toilet seat lid was a bit wonky. Beds were OK but a bit noisy/squeaky which can become uncomfortable when sharing if someone moves around a lot in their sleep.

Comfortable room, ideal location for the night before an early meeting at Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, 30 minutes on the bus from near Edinburgh Waverley train station. Toiletries, tea and coffee provided were a nice touch, local shops nearby. Clean, if a bit tired. good price overall.

The pin code provided in advance didn't work, you have to phone a number from the doorstep and another pin number is emailed to you. It was fixed quickly, but it would've been better to have the right number to start with. Didn't see any staff.

A lovely sized room and bed. A good coffee and tea tray. A walk in sized wardrobe. Plenty of parking at the back of property as well the front.

The room was dirty with drink spills and splashes down the walls. General dirty marks. Canvases that are continually knocked and leaving swing marks. The bathroom didn’t inspire me either!

A comfortable room for a family of four.

The sloped wall behind the toilet doesn’t allow a tall man to stand while using the toilet without hitting his head. Suggest putting something on the wall (different colour or texture) so the white wall doesn’t blend in with the rest of the bathroom colours. Would have also liked a small fridge in the room.

Great value, it was lovely having 4 people sharing a room, ample tea, coffee and biscuits, met one member of staff in the morning who seemed lovely, we were all happy with our stay and would stay again.

Decor is tired and outdated, but this didn't bother us at all.

The location of the hotel from where you will get buses within 1 min. Walking distance to reach the city/ Tourist Spots. And the hotel environments also so silent and peaceful and feels like own Home. But the hotel price is quite high but it is okay.

Warm, cosy and so enjoyable. Close enough for a walk if you're up for it and if not the bus facilities are amazing and really cheap and easy to use. It was clean and everything you needed was in the room.

My wife and I came from London to spend 2 days in Edinburgh. We spent a minimum of time checking in. The room was clean, parking was right under the windows, the city center was a 7-minute drive away. Inexpensive, convenient, cozy.

It was on a bus route to get you into the city. The property was quiet which was nice

The carpets could do with replacing a bit thread bear on the stairs and stains in the bedroom. Just a general makeover
