The staff went out of their way to keep their guests happy. The buffet style full English breakfast was available from 7.30an until 10am As the hotel didnt do lunches or evening meals they were more than happy to allow you to use the facilities to order in your own takeaway food. and recommended nearby restaurants if you wanted to eat out. My room was surprisingly large and well decorated. The bathroom was clean and tidy looking as though it had been recently renovated. Beautifully located on the seafront and near a bus stop.

The hotel advertised a lift but did have steps up to the reception area from the parking area. There were also a few steps in the corridors. I suspect that had I asked there could have been another way in but I managed. A shortage of tea bags was my only real problem but I was allowed to take some from the breakfast room as i needed.

We had a wonderful start to our trip from Exmouth. The hotel was charming and full of character, with a warm and professional staff that made us feel very welcome. The weather was absolutely perfect — clear skies and excellent conditions for swimming at the beach. Sam was particularly helpful, offering great restaurant recommendations nearby and being very accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities we needed, meeting our expectations perfectly. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely recommend this place for a couple of nights. The staff truly made the experience special.

Exceptional stay and friendly service. An Absolutely fabulous. Staff are extremely friendly, Sam was outstanding during the stay, is smiling and always eager to assist whenever i needed any thing. Ample of space is car park, for £6 till next day checkout. If its couple of nights stay its advisable to use hotel parking, which is apparently cheaper then other. Town center is just 10 mins walk and few good restaurant arround the hotel. Definately recommended place if you like to stay in a clean room, and professional service staffs, which is difficult to find in Exmouth though. We will return back soon...

No evening dinning options at the hotel during the stay

Lovely location overlooking the Sea front easy access to the Town and enjoyed be able to walk along the promenade. The Room was a good size and a reasonable price considering it was the Bank Holiday weekend.

Our Room was basic the TV was very small although we weren’t in there for long periods of time. The Bathroom could do with a deep clean or refurbishment but was okay. We didn’t have any Breakfasts we did think £12 each was quite expensive but can’t really compare to anywhere else if this is a standard price? There was no free parking.

Very friendly & helpful staff. Always someone available. Comfortable bed & bedding. Lovely thick white towels. Beautifully cooked breakfast. Very quiet. Couldn’t hear guests in rooms next door. View from our room on attached photo. On the seafront. Will definitely visit this hotel again.

Not a big complaint as we’d give the hotel 9/10 overall. The bathroom was clean but a bit more care could have been taken around the edge of the shower tray. I think it was difficult to get behind the shower doors.

Very relaxing and comfortable place to stay through out . It was great weather too. Very professional staff, Sam was amazing in assisting through out our stay. Welcoming check in , assisting with our luggage and helping us to find best place to enjoy nearby , during our stay. Helping us with some sort of parking problems which was limited and awkward . He is an asset to the genuinely. My friend who has mobility issues , he always shows compassion to the situation we are in, difficult to get support as such when you are traveling . The room was spacious and clean, but bathroom requires bit more attention in cleaning . Hotel is at the sea bay, and that’s is best location if your are in Exmouth and planning to stay. Serene pristine clean beach with lots of restaurant around. Sadly hotel bar is not functional, but near by you can explore. The parking is limited but you have an alternative option to park at sea bay. It’s economical to park at hotel if you are staying couple of nights. We would definitely return to stay again, due to cause of great staff and their service and location.

Bar is not operational

Reception was easy to navigate as we checked in with warm welcomed by Sam. The room was basic but, more importantly, clean. If we visit again, we will look to book a sea view room, as ours overlooked the car park. Breakfast was adequate. A very basic full English and was good. Although the coffee, in the urn, was incredibly bad. Service is impecable, the staff pays attention to details about your needs and always eager to help you. All in all, we would stay again but probably skip the breakfast next time.

Coffee and no bar

Great property Sea front , relaxing and old character building itself . The staff are superb throughout . Sam was excellent host, as I walked in , smiley and very warm welcoming. Recently joined as he mentioned . But great to chat with , little walk around and great advise for the restaurant. Had a difficulty in booking a taxi late night . He advised to walk into the town and grab one , which was just a 10 mins walk from the hotel and it was sorted. Overall great experience , and relaxing stay. There is no bar in the property , which is a let down …

NO bar , no option of evening get together.

The welcome when we arrived was very friendly, and helpful. Our room was big and spacious with a gorgeous sea view. We had paid extra for the superior double room with sea view and we weren't disappointed. The location was good as we could walk to the harbour for dinner both evenings and along the seafront for coffees and ice creams during the day. It was just lovely not to have to drive for a couple of days.

I was a little disappointed with quality of the cooked breakfast. There was a good choice of cereals, yoghurts and pastries etc, and a buffet style cooked options with plenty of toast, tea and coffee. Sadly i felt the cooked buffet style didn't work as the food was sat in covered hot plates and i felt some of the food overcooked, hard, or not cooked enough before putting them in the hot plates. Overall the team were extremely pleasant and friendly and they were quick to help and there was plenty to eat and you could go back for 2nd which is a bonus.

Perfect location opposite the beach. Room was clean, simply furnished but fairly spacious. Bed was comfortable. Room had no view but that was reflected in the price. We were allowed to park at 10.30am on arrival & the staff member informed us that our room was ready, despite a 3pm booking in slot. We were able to park until 12.30pm the following day when we departed.

A noisy generator outside disturbed us at 5am. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work. The shower switch was outside the bathroom & a label on it would have been useful. The car park is small so first come basis.
