We had concerns about not making the 10pm check in but the hosts were very helpful and offered to make provisions for a late arrival although we actually made it just in time in reality. The hosts,decor,cleanliness and attention to detail were all top drawer. Would happily book again.

A beautiful house and garden with wonderful art deco furniture and objets d'art, everything so tastefully displayed. The house and bedroom were spotlessly clean, and bathroom well appointed with quality fittings. The mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable, bedding crisp and great quality. Our hosts were charming, friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. And finally the breakfasts were very substantial and beautifully prepared and tasty. Milvil was perfectly located in a quiet and tree lined street, within 5 minutes walk of the sea front and shops, and very near to our friend, which was the reason for our visit to Lee on the Solent. We cannot fault the Milvil at all. I just wish I'd taken photos of Milvil to share with interested friends but those on the website are excellent.

There wasn't one thing we didn't like. It was absolutely perfect.

The deco looked very authentic and tastefully thought out. Breakfast was a good mix of choices . Refills on the drinks tray in room and lovely toiletries. Very clean bnb.Hosts very friendly and polite

The bed was soft . I prefer a firm bed as im a back sleeper. But most of the time, I did eventually sleep.

A beautiful building set back from a quiet, residential road. Greeted by the host who offered a much needed cup of tea on arrival. The Art Deco style is maintained throughout the building with some beautiful period pieces and some modern fixtures and fittings in sympathetic style. Everything was 'quality' rather than 'cheap and cheerful' (eg Villeroy & Boch porcelain) and there was bottled water and snacks in the room as well as the usual tea/coffee/hot chocolate. Very comfortable bed and the loan of a fan during the hot weather was most welcome. We enjoyed sitting in the secluded garden in the evening and admiring an interesting green and white planting theme. Excellent choice at breakfast and items made up to individual requirements.

Difficult to write anything here! We were in one of the smaller rooms and the en-suite was a little 'cosy' but beautifully clean and perfectly adequate for our needs. The style and quality of everything is so good that it is easy to forget that you are in a seaside B&B and not a rather special boutique hotel.

Location excellent. Hosts friendly and helpful. Delicious home cooked breakfast. Our room was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Extensive choice of tea/coffee and snacks provided in the room. Lovely art deco furniture, decor and fittings.

Making breakfast choices the night before. While we understand the reasons for this we prefer to decide on the day. Drink choices had to be made as well - it would be nice to have at water/juice available in the dining room to help yourself.

Everything- location,spotless clean, fantastic hosts, lovely property, beds are so comfy with quality linen you’re hard pressed to find anything wrong- I couldn’t!!! About my 6th time here. Well done Angela and Steve for achieving what you’ve done.

Stunning property, beautifully decorated in art deco style to a very high standard. Spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable bed, top quality bedding and towels. Well cooked breakfast, good quality produce. Hosts were very accommodating and friendly.

Well nothing I didn’t like. Would be ideal if we had a little fridge in the room to store cold drinks and food stay fresh instead of going down in the dining room to get some cold water.

The owners were very friendly and made us feel most welcome. The property is located in a quiet leafy road with easy access to the beach at Lee. It has a lovely garden which you can enjoy sitting out in. We had a lovely breakfast and so much to choose from. The room was clean and tidy and we had a lovely view of the garden. Would definitely visit again.
