Large car park, easy to park and find the location. On arrival, a warm open fire as you enter the property. Staff attentive, polite and efficient. Reasonably busy with locals. Reasonable food selection: Breakfast is good and arrived quickly, served between 7.30 to 9 am. Ground floor room had a view and was warm with working radiator. Quick check in check out. Allowed me to have a later checkout due to a work meeting time.

The room was a little tired. Extension cables under the bed. Shower tray and tiling are a bit dated. Slow water from basin tap. I had a Welly burger which was slightly underdone (pink) but the meat quality was good. I believe the food quality to be generally good.

Fantastic value for money with a great breakfast included with a good selection and nice quality. Plenty of parking space on site . A Fantastic warm welcome and real friendly staff who showed me to my room. There is all so easy access to the rooms from the car park with out having to go through the hotel and for after hours access Great view out of my room which was clean and tidy, , Tea/coffee/bicies etc in the room, extra heater provided. My room was a shower with good flow rate and hot enough water with the little extras provided , Bod wash, shampoo, conditioner etc etc Your are quite rural but you know that when you book but Harrogate is only 10 odd miles away.......I didn't use the bar or eat dinner here so cant comment as I was so dead on my feet when I arrived Great stay would deff book again

The ONLY annoying thing is the kettle its one with the cable permanently attached so its a pain to fill up from the sink or loads of cup fills back and forth from the bathroom, It also does not auto turn off .......I did get a bit cold at night even though the radiator was hot and I had my 2ft hot water bottle (best thing ever) ....BUT hay they provide a extra oil heater in the cupboard so just plugged that in and was fine.

This was a last minute off the cuff booking so that we could travel home slowly in the hot weather and visit Fountains Abbey and it turned into one of our most memorable stays in the area. Staff were lovely and we felt welcomed as soon as we arrived. The pub areas were quite busy with other patrons but we were able to sit outside under the wonderful vine full of sparrows. The starters were so amazing and the G&T was great. Our room was amazingly cosy and the blinds cut out any light at night. The towels were a little shabby round the edges but perfectly soft and clean and I always appreciate hotels that don't use harsh chemicals to wash towels or bedding. The room was spotless and just what we needed after a long drive in very tiring heat! Hotel was absolutely lovely about my needing more time to check out due to the morning heat making me feel wueasy

The cooling fan was a godsend in the heat but it probably wants a screw tightening somewhere because on the fixed setting it gradually rotates away from where you have pointed it until it isn't pointing into the room at all!

Excellent accommodation, certainly value for money. Breakfast was included in price of stay otherwise think the breakfast was a little over priced if we had had to pay for it. Evening meals were excellent but breakfast was very run of the mill, well the full English!

Accommodation was excellent, room clean and tidy. Location ideal. Only downside was someone decided 4.30 in the morning was the time to roar off somewhere in their car. Hot summers evening so windows had been left open so as you can imagine noise disturbed our sleep! Inn couldn't have forseen this I am sure.

Good selection on menu with special board-lunch/dinner.Good size portions Breakfast-had menu-but you could ask for changes -plain bread instead of Toast.

room fine -room 12-matress probably needs to be changed felt like it was sloping on the edge. sat in the bar area Sunday evening, tables felt to close together with other customers. Sat outside under cover at end of pub a couple of times, be nice to see how that area might be developed. Or perhaps parasols with the outside tables at the front.

The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times during my stay. The food was delicious. The rooms are ideal for a short stay and were clean and serviced well. The location is lovely with super views of the surrounding countryside. Being the local, one meets those that live nearby which adds to the enjoyment. Next to the Inn is a bus stop with reliable services towards Pateley Bridge or Harrogate. Final stop being next to the main station. So if not journeying by car, it could not be easier.

There is nothing that one did not like.

Very nice country pub with helpful friendly staff. Large rooms with plenty of space. We stayed as a group as we had entered various parts of LCW Yorkshire - quite a travel to the start but not the pubs fault as the event moved the start after booking accommodation. All of our requests were accommodated and everything was really nice.

The rooms are spacious (king) rooms but are a little dated and just need updating but saying that they did have everything in them that we needed. The only negative was the noisy people outside until early hours when we needed a good nights sleep to be up early to race.

The staff were extremely helpful on arrival and throughout our stay. The room was very clean. The breakfast was delicious too.

The room was rather small with a sloping ceiling in the bathroom - my husband kept banging his head. This is no fault of the accomodation, but we discovered that we could have saved £25 if we had booked with them directly, rather than through Booking.com. Also our room was above the main entance door and we could hear it open and close with a bang in the evening.

The views are wonderful Bathroom clean , nice toiletries, non slip bath mat. Bed comfortable and fan was very welcome Iron and ironing board in the hallway if required Restaurant food wonderful - but please dont give me a hendricks when I ask for Gordon's- not only that I dont like it but its far pricier too ! Breakfast was good ..the Longley Farm natural yoghurt is sublime ..must find it locally !

Being picky but no herbal teas on tea tray ..really can't think of anything else

The pub, beers, wine , food all good 👍 The room we stayed in was petite but clean and comfortable. If I lived here in this village you probably would need to crow bar me out at closing time. I liked it very much to the point that if I was in this area again I would stay again. Dinner was great and the breakfast was great. We stayed here twice in the two weeks of our holiday, first on the way up to Scotland and on the return and I'm glad we did. Thank you The Wellington, nice one
