It is obvious that Sophie has a passion for taking care of visitors to Harowgate/Hampsthwaite. Our room is beautiful, bedding is very comfortable and the bathroom is spotless. There is a great view of the countryside from our window. Sophie is a gracious hostess at breakfast, interacting with regulars and conversing with visitors and there were many choices on the menu. The food was delicious! We were so pleased that we selected this lodging as it truly exceeded our expectations. We now have a lovely memory to add to our 50th anniversary trip. Thank you, Sophie!

Location suited us well. Lovely view from our room. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Good choice for breakfast. Very spacious room.

Our room was split level so you needed to go downstairs for bathroom. No balcony as mentioned in description. As B&B was above a café which is where you got breakfast, we were told it was at 9am, a bit later than we might have chosen ourselves. On arrival we were given fresh milk in a jug for tea but there was no fridge in the room to keep it fresh.

Such a lovely place to stay. The room was perfect, hosts incredibly welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was one of the best ever, all with local products. Sophie gave me a short route around the Dales to drive before going onto York which was really picturesque.

Based above a cafe in a village location, nice and quite. Room good size and comfortable. Great good quality breakfast with lots of choice from the cafe menu. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Pub down the road for great evening Meals. Overall Good value for money.

Towels designer but not soft and fluffy, that is my personal preference and may suit others that stay. No WiFi, but it was in a remote location

Wi-Fi and phone signal weren't very good, however, sometimes that can be a good thing!

I can honestly say that I had the best ever Full English Breakfast. The location is in the centre of the village with parking outside the door. A very good pub and a convenience store are very close by.

The atmosphere in the village was peaceful. The B&B and cafe appears to be the hub of the village, while we were eating breakfast there was a constant stream of locals coming in for breakfast, take away drinks all who were greeted like friends by the staff who were awesome. Food was amazing and set us up for the day. Will definitely be going back.

Excellent location for exploring the local area, lovely village , with beautiful old church ( can you spot the mouse ) , and by chance it was the village festival day , so there was lots happening on the village green . The bnb was spotless with an excellent cafe , first class food and staff . Brilliant room with a fantastic bath .

Beautiful B&B above a coffee shop. For some reason it wasn't what I was expecting at all. It was a delightful B&B beautifully decorated. Lovely garden area at the back of the property. Pub nearby but we didn't get to try that as they were hosting a private party so we took a taxi into Harrogate in the evening. Breakfast was lovely.

Not much really. Only downside was there was no blind / curtain in the bathroom which meant when showering you were on show to the houses around. Telly from one of rooms could be heard and it was loud quite late on. Otherwise everything else was perfect.
