Everything went well. I arrived at 6.30 and parked. The room was not the largest but it was well equipped with kettle etc and even a coffee machine and pods. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. The shower was fabulous. Water plentiful and hot. There as an overhead "deluge" shower head and a hand held shower wand.

Parking can be a problem on site. Vouchers are available for on street parking. This is adequate for the able bodied. There is no facilty for the non able bodied. I parked for two nights and then on the last night I had to find a space in a nearby street. I was then presented with the problem of carrying my luggage to my car. Being elderly, with walking problems, this spoilt my entire stay.

Staff were lovely. Free parking was a great bonus and we could even park before we checked in. Check in was super easy. Room had everything we could need, you can see effort had been made to make it look nice and comfortable. Location to the centre was fab, only a 10 minute walk to get to everything you could need. Added bonus of proper Yorkshire tea, and proper milk - fab!

Bathroom/shower was a little small and there were some signs of wear, like it could perhaps benefit from a refresh but overall the place was lovely. Parked under a tree so sadly got lots of leaves and bird poop all over the car - that’s just one of those things though and not a reflection of the overall property which was great for our stay :)

We were actually at the Fountain Guesthouse fur due a booking error, the host sorted everything out for us the location was great for the conference centre, the room clean, bed really comfortable, thick/ light reducing curtains (vital for me) fab shower with decent shower gel etc, and fluffy towels. A fab variety of tea bags/coffee too. TV needed retuning, probably previous guest had messed with it! Good WiFi Breakfast was home cooked and can deal with allergies and special dietary requirements. Front lounge area ( with TV) had extra bits too should you need than like ear plugs and fridge with fresh milk, and wineglasses etc

The error in the booking meant a change of plan, but we can’t complain about the host’s response, they bent over backwards to help

Everything. The staff were exemplary. Both my husband and I are disabled and we couldn't get a ground floor room. No fears there, as Jesper was on hand to carry all our luggage up the stairs. Marion was in contact with us to make sure we had everything we needed. On the day of our checkout, the cleaner arrived whilst we were waiting for Jesper to bring our luggage back down the stairs. She grabbed most of it, and another member of the team arrived and carried the rest and put everything in the boot of our car. The room had everything you could possibly need from the fridge to a coffee machine.

I wouldn't say I didn't like it, but I'd had spinal surgery, and I found the bed uncomfortable. That's not the fault of Belmont, but the pillows were very flat. I did bring one from home, but in hindsight, maybe a couple more would help as I have to sleep sitting up. Again, there is no criticism. Brilliant stay and would definitely stay again, but next time, I would book on the ground floor. Thanks Marion and the team.

This is the best one-bed room I have stayed in - and I have stayed in plenty. The room was exceptionally clean and decorated in a contemporary style. Everything was comfortable and all the tiny details had been thought of - such as fresh milk in the fridge for tea and coffee, a kettle and Nespresso machine, and hanging space with proper coat hangers. The bathroom is really nicely decorated with a great walk-in shower. Nice digital door locks made entry and exit easy with no risk of losing a key.

A little noise from other guests coming in and out, but no noise between 10pm and 7am, which are the hours that count. But that is minor and can happen in all hotels and guest houses.

Only a couple of things for you to consider The Windows need some repairs as the part of wood for the latches is rotten / broken. As it’s Summer a fan would have made the night more comfortable as with Windows open the road is quite noisy.. Just outside the front Steps there is a build up of Cigarette ends from someone who is too lazy to use the provided ash tray on the wall, it’s a shame as the garden is beautiful.

Great location, just a 5 minute walk into town or there's a bus stop a short walk away if walking is difficult. Buses are every 20 mins. We used the bus to go into Knaresborough, a great trip out. There's everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday in your room, very comfortable, spotlessly clean and it also has its own car park which for us was an added bonus! Owners are quick to respond to your questions. We parked our car in the car park when we arrived and didn't use it again until leaving for home. Perfect!

There is nothing to not like about the Belmont! It's brilliant.

Nice location, comfy bed, well equipped if small kitchen area, lots of coffee, sugar, fresh milk, nice towels. Lots of parking, 10 minute walk to centre of Harrogate. Very clean. Nice property. Good for short stays.

Quite small room and bed. Not much hanging for clothes, no drawers etc. Booking.com said check in from 2pm but hosts said 3pm. We never received any check in details by email, or on booking.com site, and had to phone to ask for them to be sent to us on WhatsApp. Shower very small. TV batteries not working in remote. Tiles on floor in bathroom and kitchen area need replacing.

On the day of arrival we were offered an upgraded room which was a lovely gesture. The apartments had clearly been refurbished so everything was fresh and clean. The shower had a monsoon showerhead which we both appreciated. As we only stayed one night, we didn't make much use of the kitchen but it was well laid out and clearly well equipped. The beds were very comfortable with lovely linen and pillows which made for a good night's sleep which was welcome after our long drive. The staff were super helpful in offering to make reservations or provide suggestions around sightseeing.
