Room no1, good size, very quiet, everything you needed and more, lots of extra touches we didn't expect or normally see in a room, hosts and staff very friendly and extremely helpful, anything you needed just ask. Found the beds and pillows very comfortable and gave a good night's sleep. Lots of Free parking spaces outside with a permit given to display. About a 5 min walk into town.

The only thing that would make it better is if they did breakfast as well, but to be fair, lots of places close by, so you're never short of somewhere to eat.

Lovely room. Stylish and quite spacious. Quiet and very comfortable. Super comfy bed and pillows really to my taste I really appreciated the blinds and the heavy curtains- actually l, I was quite excited by it - i thought it showed an understanding that some people need dark to sleep (me). I was grateful

It's very personal but I'm putting it as advice for people like me (need dark to sleep). Take your sleep mask!!! So much effort seemed to have been made with this element (which I really appreciated) but the light from the landing shining through the door meant the only way I could get any sleep was with the mask (which i loathe).

We enjoyed our stay at the Grafton. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient. It was a little smaller than we're used to, but the price was reflective. It was really quiet, so we had a good night's sleep. In the literature, it recommended places to eat, which was useful, all quite nearby. We would stay here again.

We would have liked the option of a breakfast, although plenty of restaurants were nearby. There is no view from the window. We were at the top of the house. I had asked for a quiet room, and so is probably the reason they allocated us that room. My husband is 80, so three flights of stairs were a bit of a struggle.

Great location close to convention centre but still very quiet. Bed was extremely comfortable.

The shower was tiny and not very powerful.

The location was so central, a 5-10 min wander into town. It was on a quiet street and had easy (and free with voucher ) on street parking. Our room was large, I’m not sure if we lucked out on such a big room but it was great. Towels were nice and soft too, and a kettle with teabags etc in the room.

The only downside to our room was that it was a shower over a bath so you have to climb into the bath. That said, the shower was excellent pressure so it was totally fine. My preference is a shower cubicle instead of a bath.

The room was wonderful. Very large, clean and comfortable. Lovely big shower and nice big windows. Warm and big TV to watch, Tea and coffee supplied (but no oat milk as requested).

I had asked if they could have oat/soya in the room as I was vegan and they very kindly responded yes, they did have this. But it wasn't in my room and no one downstairs to ask in the evening when I wanted it. It was very quiet and that was nice but no atmosphere as no shared breakfast space, and I forgot it did not have any meal facilities! And as I was heading off for an early walk on Sunday, I realised this was a mistake. Had to grab a sandwich from Tesco. Lovely if you want lots of private space, but I realise I do like a hotel that has staff or a bar or someone to speak to! No one at reception either on Sunday morning to thank before leaving. More like an air b n b whereby you don't see or speak to anyone. Plus a 20 minute walk into town which was fine but very cold!

Lovely, clean room, nice and quiet, bed was the comfiest I've stopped in a hotel for a long time! Loved the fact that the room was a little more individual than just a bog standard bed, TV, wardrobe etc, lovely light fittings and huge ornate mirror made the room feel a little more special! Great Central location meant only 7 min walk to town centre

No breakfast available which wasn't a major issue, just meant that we checked out earlier on a Sunday morning to find somewhere for breakfast

Very clean. Free tea/coffee/water/ biscuits/washing soaps etc Good decaf coffee not just instant. Loved the blinds 🤣 (not so much the view from the windows. But that’s just nit picking as only there one night!) Free street parking. Arrived early evening so parking card sufficed then received a free parking permit for the following day so we could go into the shops for breakfast and a look around without having to move the car. Brilliant Easy walking into the town.

TV interference. But hey it’s not bad if that was all 😀

Great boutique place to stay. Quality furniture, fixtures and fittings. Very comfy king size bed. Superb walk in shower. Very spacious room. Great location and easy walk to town centre. Easy free parking on the road.

Quite a few stairs to the top floor with fire doors that have heavy duty self closure fittings so not so easy to get the luggage up to the room. Not fault of the owners, but maybe something for potential guests to be aware of.

Property is stunning, warm and welcoming in a beautiful location

I was in room 18, and as lovely as it was, it was loud. I could hear everyone talking in the reception, I could hear the shower going off at 0500… and I could hear everyone that went upstairs. Apart from this the place was perfect
